"Ahh! We still have time, Brina! Why so early" Louis growled burying his face in her neck.

"Don't be a kid! It's eight in the morning" Brina said, sighing loudly. She was about to get off from the bed but Louis pulled her back, making her fall in his arms.

"How about a morning exercise on the bed?" he asked, grinning.

Brina gave a lopsided smile and seducingly moved her finger from his cheeks to neck.

"Aw.. so sad! We would have had time to do if you woke up at seven" she whispered.

"It's not my fault. You dragged me to a movie night with kids in our apple orchard. I was tired" he mumbled.

"Are you complaining? Our daughter is going to University today and yesterday was supposed to be our family night" Brina lectured him.

"I am not complaining, love. I need comfort from you. My little princess will be living in a dorm and she won't be here tomorrow. Even thinking of that is making me sad" Louis said, pursing his lips.

Although Esmeralda is a naughty, stubborn and headstrong girl, she is the light of the palace. Her presence always makes the surroundings cheerful and lively.

This is the first time she will be living away from the kingdom.

Now, Brina understood why Louis was acting grumpy from a few days. He is going to miss his daughter..

"We can go and see her whenever we want. We could even leave one of our choppers in the university so she could come here on weekends" Brina suggested as she snuggled in her husband's embrace.

Even she is going to miss her troublesome, sixteen years old daughter. The entry age for Alpha University is eighteen, however, Esmeralda is smart enough to pass the tests when she was fourteen itself.

But at that time, her father, her uncle Ethan ( Louis's brother) and her grandfather didn't allow her to enroll. They didn't want to send her away at that age to the university.

After a series of family meetings, everyone decided that sixteen is the perfect age for Esmeralda to attend Alpha University which is solely for the five kingdoms and their Royal families.

"Even I thought of that, Love. I don't think she will come every weekend to see her poor dad" Louis pouted.

Brina chuckled and kissed his lips. "You got me and moreover, I don't think our daughter will do that" she comforted her husband.

"What if she falls in love with some idiot in university? She will surely use her weekends to go on dates with him… I am sure of it!" Louis exclaimed.

"So, that's the main problem! You are already jealous of that 'special person' who might compete with you" Brina laughed, teasing Louis.

Louis pouted again and abruptly flipped her over, now lying on top of her.

"Yes, I am jealous" he agreed.

"Don't be so sure. Esme might not fall in love so soon" Brina said, caressing his cheek.

She could feel her night robe slipping away from her body.

"How could you be so sure..hmm?" Louis asked, biting her lower lip.

"For instance, your nephew Will fell in love with my Goddaughter Meg when he was not even fourteen. They started seeing each other officially when they were barely sixteen." Louis said.

"He got her pregnant when they are just twenty! Will and Esme or so similar to each other in every aspect" he stated.

"Hey! You can't take my baby Will as an example! They were close to each other from their childhood and in fact, we adults are the one who used to ship them openly" Brina defended Will.

"Ok! Leave about him. How about your cousin, Diego? It was decided he and my sister have to marry when they are twenty five. But he got her pregnant when they were twenty three!" Louis came up with a new example.

"And, what does it have to do with this?" Brina demanded.

Louis chuckled, making Brina catch her breath. How can he be so hot and handsome that he never fails to enchant her.

"What I am trying to say is, you, Will, Diego.. are natural rule breakers. And, Esme is a lot familiar like you three. I am just worried that she will outsmart you three and come up with shocking news like these" Louis said.

"So, what's in your mind?" Brina asked. She could see that Louis is trying to state something here.

"Let's assign bodyguards for Esme." Louis whispered.

He knows how much his wife hates bodyguards.

"Really? If my father would have thought in the same way and prepared some bodyguards for me, I wouldn't have got close to you in our university and you wouldn't have been my first love. If I wouldn't have fallen in love with you back then, I wouldn't have postponed my wedding with Nickolas." Brina reasoned with Louis.

"We wouldn't be here, snuggled with each other if my father would have thought that way" she added.

"But, I am worried, love! What if she meets someone like Nickolas?" Louis pouted.

"Just trust our daughter. She might have good taste in men just like me" Brina said, winking at Louis.

"So, you are saying that I am a handsome, hot, brilliant and romantic guy?" Louis asked, pressing her back into the mattress.

"You already know the answer" Brina whispered in his ear.

"I want to hear it again" Louis whispered huskily.

"How about I show that with my actions" she asked, smiling at him.

Louis grinned and like that a round of hot sessions started. No matter how many years have passed, they remain the same.
