"I was trying to help you from making it tough on yourself, Sabrina. However, it seems like you really love reckless and careless behaviour more than anything. More than your health or the baby that needs a peaceful time" Louis angrily said.

Brina pursed her lips, realising that her little stunt revealed to the overbearing person here.

"I am not careless or reckless. I know how to handle this matter, Edward. I did these many times, okay! And, for your kind information, I am just trying to make sure Eliina is safe in that horror house" Brina retailated as she stood up, getting off his lap.

Louis laughed, mockingly and bitterly.

"Yeah, no matter how experienced you were in these matters, you still got yourself and your family killed before. You really underestimate your opponents sometimes, Sabrina"

"Like always, acting like an ominous person and doing things stubbornly, huh." he bitterly smirked.

"As of Eliina, you really don't have to worry too much. Even though we were trying to save her, you know! We are not sitting useless" Louis said.

"Only if you know how dangerous my uncle is and what that terrible, ghastly palace holds, you would understand my concern" she said, almost breaking into tears now.

She hates it when Louis gets so angry at her. She simply can't control her fragile emotions...

"I know...I know. I am sorry for firing on you, baby. I got scared too, when I thought of what would happen if your uncle finds out about your existence. You are already heavily pregnant, you know" Louis apologized back, kissing her hair, his eyes filled with fear.

"But don't you think he has to find out about my existence? It is after all our last plan" Brina reminded him.

"Yes. That is after you give birth. It is too dangerous now" Louis said, caressing her swollen stomach.

Brina pursed her lips and continued to stay in his embrace.

A few minutes passed before a call disturbed them again.

"It's dad," Louis said, as he immediately answered the call.

"What happened?" Brina asked, after he ended the call.

"Your uncle contacted us" Louis said, shocking her.

"He named his bargain" Louis added.

"And?" Brina asked, so nervous that she couldn't help but fiddle with her fingers.

"Half of our war machines, weapons, war ships, fighter jets and also a lot of money and gold" Louis said.

As she predicted!!!

Before Remus took over his Kingdom and before Layla sabotaged the underworld organization that was supporting Gabriel, he used to have the military, air force and navy of two countries wrapped around his fingers.
