Nickolas just returned to his mansion when he got a satellite call from a very secured connection. 

He right away knew that it was someone from their newly formed alliance. 

Making sure his promises are secured and there could be no mishap, he walked into his study room, locked the door and windows, before answering it. 

"It's me" the electronic voice came from the other side. But it didn't take much time for Nickolas to recognise who that person was. 

as soon as he realised who that person is, his hands started shivering from that very instant. 

He never thought he would get to listen to this 'voice', although it's electronic, with her words especially pointed to him. 

After he found that Sabrina is alive, this is the first time she talked to him!!! 

He simply couldn't believe it, well, despite the indifference and little hint of coldness he could already imagine in her real voice.

"I just wanted to make sure if my sister in law is okay and whether your brother in law really loves her and is protecting her well or not" Brina said. 

She was extremely careful not to give away her relationship with Nickolas or Diego. 

As no one knows who Eliina's sister in law is, it won't make a direct threat to her. However, with Nickolas and Diego it is another case. 

Meanwhile, when Nick hears her words, he is genuinely shocked. 

So, the person who got kidnapped by this monster is Eliina!! Such a poor girl! 

"I didn't know," Nickolas answered, his voice faint and already nervous. 

"It doesn't matter and, nor do I care. I just want to make sure she is okay and not getting tortured mentally or physically" Brina said. 

The textures in Kingdom Winters are surely so ruthless and inhumane. Even a strong girl like Eliina can't take it. 

"I will personally make sure she is fine before informing you," Nickolas said. 

"Hmm, that is it. Just don't get my sister in law into more trouble by doing something brainless" Brina said and before Nickolas could persuade her to believe in him, the call was already ended and as soon as the call got disconnected, the phone died off, leaving no evidence. 

Nickolas could only sigh and throw his phone into the fire in the fireplace. 

'She us still ruthless but, this is the first time I am the victim of it' he thought. 

She never said, be careful and don't get into trouble. 

She didn't thank him nor she said, 'I am giving you another chance by believing you.' 

Her message is glaringly obvious. Just make sure Eliina will be safe no matter what happens to him.

Meanwhile at Brina's side ..

After ending the call, she sat down in the roof top recliner. 

Her hands continued caressing her protruded stomach as she just closed her eyes. She is simply anxious…

She didn't know when, but she dozed off. 

Early in the morning, it was Louis who noticed the empty bed and found her in the garden. 

"The exact reason why I didn't tell her things" he thought, angry and helpless. 

It is so cold outside and the fire gets extinguished too. Brina is sleeping in a chilling cold now. 

What if she gets a cold, cough and fever?? 

Sighing helplessly, he deposited her on their bed and covered her in thick blankets. 

He is about to get a cardigan for her to wear, when her mobile rang. 

"Who would be calling now?" Louis wondered before answering the private call. 

"I visited the palace. Don't worry, nothing like what you are thinking has happened. Everything is fine and the knight in armour is really ready in Armor house" Nickolas said. 

Even though he made it sure, he didn't address her nor he brought Eliina into this. 

He just made sure Brina would understand that Eliina is safe and Diego is really protecting her. 

As soon as Louis heard that voice, his eyes dangerously narrowed. 

It's Nickolas!!! 

Louis suddenly felt very angry. 

Not because his wife has asked help from her ex fiance but because she risked her huge secret and didn't care about blowing her identity. 

She is really reckless. 

Gritting his teeth, Louis almost broke the mobile screen when he was ending the call. 

'What the! She didn't even respond!!!' Nickolas wondered as he saw the disconnected call. 

 However, he hurriedly went back to the palace to see Gabriel. So that he could not get that man to suspect anything.

Meanwhile…

When Brina woke up, she noticed Louis sitting very gloomily beside her on the bed. 

He is not looking at anything particularly but his eyes are fixed on the wall straight in front of him. 

"Good morning" Brina cooed as she directly deposited herself on his lap before hugging him by his neck and kissing his neck. 

She snuggled up and buried her face in his chest, like a little kid but only to frown in confusion. 

Why is he not responding?? 

He should at least wrap his eyes around her if he really is not in the mood to greet her hackor kiss her forehead. Despite how tired or preoccupied he is, that is his natural reflex. 

"What happened??" she asked, looking into his eyes only to realize that he is not only gloomy but angry too. 

"Won't you hug me and our baby??" Brina asked, pouting and acting cutely, using all her 'cooling down my husband's anger' tricks on him only in vain. 

Louis looked at his wife who really got good in acting however, he really couldbt resist this. So, he just wrapped his arms around her waist, loosely and continued giving her a cold shoulder. 

Brina pouted. "I should be the one to be angry, Louis. Not you, remember" she said, only to get a breath holding glare from him. 

"Really??" he asked, narrowing his eyes. 

"Uhmm...yes. You...ummm...lied to me, forgot?" Brina asked, gulping down nervously. 

Louis lifted his left eyebrow, looking angrily at her. 

"I was trying to help you from making it tough on yourself, Sabrina. However, it seems like you really love reckless and careless behaviour more than anything. More than your health or the baby that needs a peaceful time" Louis angrily said.
