Brina didn't know why but she felt totally exhausted when she woke up. 

She felt like she had been on a long journey. However, she concluded it thinking it was the aftermath of getting 'bullied' by her husband. 

Wrapping her arms around her blanket, she sat down leaning on to the headboard, still not opening her eyes. 

"Good morning" a female voice almost made Brina startle. 

She abruptly opened her eyes only to see Katherine sitting on the chair near the bed. 

"Kath..what are you doing here? When did you come?" Brina asked, slightly shocked, as she tightened the hold on her blanket. 

She didn't want her friend to tease her. 

"Look around, Brina. You are the one who came back" Katherine chuckled. 

Her best friend looks really cute after she wakes up. 

And, all again, Katherine felt like. She is becoming bisexual. 

Brina looked totally beautiful and alluring right now. 

Louis arrived just three hours back when it was breakfast time in the Kingdom. Brina is still sleeping in his arms, totally unaware of what is happening. 

And, no one could blame her. 

She is already tired and given with that, she is easily fatigued nowadays. In addition to that, with Louis's insatiability and libido, there is no wonder she is sleeping like a log. 

She is totally tired. 

Later, Louis brought Brina back to their suite, helped her out of her warm clothes and, he just covered her with a blanket after that. 

Then, he asked Katherine to stay with Brina and then he hurriedly went back to help Ethan and his father to search for Eliina's whereabouts. 

Meanwhile, when Brina looked around, it was only when she realized that she was in her marital bedroom in the Royal palace. 

She is shocked and confused. 

The last thing she remembers is drifting into a deep slumber after God knows how many slow and torturous rounds. At that time she was their vacation home in the States. 

"Edward didn't wake you up. He brought you here just a few hours back" Katherine explained as she walked into the closet and got a night robe for her friend. 

She couldn't concentrate on what she was talking about, when Brina was looking so alluring. She started to doubt herself...cough...cough. 

"What happened? This is totally uncalled" Brina asked as she donned the robe. 

"Nothing happened," Katherine lied. 

Louis insisted on not telling anything related about this to Brina. At least not for now. 

Brina lifted her left eye brow, suspiciously. 

"Kath, do you think I will believe this? Where is Louis? I need to ask him what the heck happened" Brina said, easily angered because of the pregnancy hormones. 

"Uhmm, he is in the meeting." Katherine said, gulping. How could she forget that this is Beatrice she is talking to. 

"A meeting as soon as he arrived? He travelled for whole night and due to time difference, he should also be having a jet lag" 

"This got to be so important otherwise-" 

"It's King Edgar. Yesterday night he had a mild heart stroke again and it made your husband anxious that he immediately came back." Katherine easily lied. 

Yes, King Edgar had felt like he had a heart stroke but when the doctors checked on him, it was just acidity and hypertension. 

"Oh! How is father now? You should have told me right?" Brina asked, worried. 

This excuse is a acceptable. 

King Edgar already had a heart attack once, when Ethan eloped. 

"Uncle is fine now. It turned out it's just a sensation" Katherine said. 

"But, what triggered it?" Brina asked. 

"Nothing in particular," Katherine lied again. 

Brina just nodded her head and leaned back on the headboard again, yawning. 

She is not sleepy but exhausted. 

Might be the journey, although she doesn't remember doing a one. 

"I want to visit dad," Brina said. 

"Why don't you freshen up, first? I will brew a tea for you first" Katherine offered. 

Brina nodded her head and rubbed the nape of her neck in tiredness. 

"Gosh, girl, your tummy is very noticeable now" Katherine giggled. 

It's her Godchild inside.

She just couldn't believe that her best friend is going to be a mother soon. 

It is still little difficult for her to comprehend that they are already in the age of inviting motherhood. 

"It indeed became huge" Brina agreed, rubbing her swollen stomach affectionately. 

Katherine followed her suite. "Edward would be totally elated, right?" she asked, grinning. 

"More than elated, he became insatiable. I could barely-" 

"I can see that. Your neck is full of hickey's" Katherine giggled. 

"Yeah...yeah. Wait for a few more months and I will be the one teasing you" Brina challenged before carefully walking into the bathroom. 

Katherine pouted.

"Let's see" she muttered sadly.

"I really had a tough time convincing your wife, Edward" Katherine sighed as she spoke with Louis on the phone. 

"It goes without saying, Kath. The main point here is, did she buy your lie?" Louis asked. 

"I told her that uncle had heart attack symptoms and that is the reason you both had to come back all in sudden" Katherine informed me. 

"So, I should get dad to pretend that he is weak and take a rest," Louis asked. 

"Yeah. I am sorry but I couldn't come up with any better excuse than this" Katherine apologized.

"That's all right, Kath. Just keep her distracted okay. Otherwise she will freak out" Louis said.

"I will try my best," Katherine informed me.

The whole day passed by and it is already thirty six hours after Eliina disappeared. 

They managed to find out bits and bits of the whole incident but they are the dead ends. 

Even after finding out that Eliina has boyfriend be, they only found out that he travelled to country S from Kingdom Wentris. 

As of his identity, it's still unknown. 

"Son, you are tired. You didn't have much sleep and Brina is already getting tense about it" Edgar said, patting Edward's shoulder. 

"Yes. Bro, you need to sleep. I will call you if there is any update" Ethan supported his father. 

Louis just nodded his head and walked towards his quarters. 

He is missing his wife, but at the same time he is afraid to answer her questions.
