I am not asking you to do big things like these. Let's just meet, have lunch together. If you are not comfortable with it, at least, lhave a toast, praying for your good future. It's just a matter of minutes. This is our first anniversary and it has to be memorable, at least for me it's important.

I never asked you anything! This is the first time and would also be the last time, if you don't meet me today.' she texted him.

I know that you are in country S. It's approx two hours journey from my place. I will take a flight from here and we could meet in your friend's restaurant there. It's safe' she told him.

Diego could only sigh.

He couldn't tell her that his family is different and her's is different. She would say that it is looking down on her.

He can't tell her that he is not in country S. When she texted their common friend today, that friend lied to her that he is country S.

And, she never asked him anything. This is the first time and he can't sit here like a coward, afraid of his dad.

His dad doesn't know anything and he is ridden to bed now. So, he could sneak out.

Come back in three hours.

'Fine. Fine. Let's meet there in three hours. He caved in.

Eliina grinned as soon as their text messages came to an end.

At last, she won and like everyone, she is going to celebrate her first anniversary with her boyfriend!!

She knows she went overboard but she didn't regret it.

This is her first love and first anniversary. In no way she would sit in her room fearing what might happen if she went out and enjoyed herself.

"Time to doll up, Elle. You should shock Diego with your charms and looks" she spoke to herself, grinning like a lovesick lover.

Jumping off the bed, she ran to her extra big walk in closet to rummage through her overly numbered branded clothes.

After God knows how many minutes passed by, she picked out a beautiful off shoulder, black jumpsuit.

She took this jumpsuit trend from her sister in law, Brina who likes these classy, casual and modern jumpsuits.

After that she selected the accessories, shoes and packed them in her bag.

Later, she dressed up in a boy disguise and fished out her secret, fake IDs she made without her family's consent.

Using the secret passages cautiously so that she would not be spotted out, she exited the palace.

As of her parents and others, it is very common for her to lock herself up in her room for hours and hours. So, they would not notice her absence.

And, within the next thirty minutes, she is in the airport, already sitting in the economy class of the next flight to country S.

And, in no time, she reached country S and checked in herself in one of the normal hotels before dolling up for a date.

As for Diego, his circumstances are a little different.

After his father Gabriel found out that his son is dating the princess of Kingdom Aletros, he appointed many of his best guards to keep track of his son.

So, unlike Eliina who got herself out of her palace unnoticed, Diego failed to do so.

Although he tried his best and was very, very cautious he is no way near to those people who are pro's in keeping tabs on targets.

He almost used the same methods like his girlfriend Eliina whom he knows as Luna, her academy name, but he was unaware that his father's people are aware of his little sneaky act.

Diego hurriedly reached his friend's restaurant and got ready for his date. As he already asked his friend to book the whole hotel for them and made his level best to decorate it for their first anniversary, all he has left to do is pick up his girlfriend from the hotel.

If the situations aren't these complicated, he would have made this anniversary the best for his Luna (Eliina), but for now, he has to keep this low key.

So, instead of Limousine he used a low key Audi car.

"Ahh...I missed you baby" Eliina squealed as soon as she saw Diego outside of the hotel.

She immediately jumped into his arms, instantly cooling Diego.

He hugged her, supporting her in his arms.

"I missed you too, Luna baby" he said, his voice soft and warm.

"And, happy one year anniversary to my best girl" he said, kissing her forehead.

"Scram these manners" she said, crashing her lips to his, disregarding the people around them.

It is a busy hotel so almost as soon as she did it, many youngsters squealed as some took the pictures almost instantly.

For a second, Diego was taken back.

But, yeah! Scram the manners!!

He missed her so much.

Holding her nape, he reciprocated his kiss and instantly, cheers increased by two folds.

"Happy anniversary to us" she giggled as she continued to hug his neck.

"We attracted a lot of attention, girlfriend" Deigo said, as he hugged her while looking around.

"We can delete the photos from their devices. It's a matter of minutes if we work together" Eliina said, realising that she acted recklessly.

"Let's do it in the car," Deigo said, feeling the same regret.

In the car, he asked the help from his friends and during the journey, they deleted all the pictures, CCTV footage of them.

In Kingdom Wentris,

Deigos' father, Gabriel chuckled.

As his people were live streaming to him, he saw what happened in the hotel's lobby.

"Ahh...my kids are really a great help to me" he laughed.

His daughter Camilla got Nickolas on her side, giving her the best support and right hand man to do all his chores.

It happened when he needed the help.

Now, his younger son got him a bait, the princess of another powerful Kingdom, Kingdom Aletros.

"Let the young couple have their date." he ordered as he amusingly waited for them to go inside the restaurant which is now surrounded by his people.

He loves his son. It will hurt him if he kidnaps his girlfriend in the middle of Date.

"Wow!! You prepared all this in such a short notice?" Eliina asked, as she excitedly looked around.

"I tried my best, baby. Sorry for all the-" he was about to apologise but Eliina stopped him.

"No need to apologise, Diego. I went overboard with all those blackmails but I didn't want to miss this." She said, looking into his eyes as they shared a kiss.

"And, babe, I have many things to confess to you. It's been almost a year we started dating and I am sure, you are the one with whom I wanted to share the rest of my life with" he said, taking her hand, resting their interlocked fingers on the table.

"I want you to listen to me patiently?" he asked, his eyes pleading to her.

He is scared to confess but, he is aware that this is high time to come clean. Otherwise, she wouldn't be able to understand his situation and insist on meeting him like this.

It will risk her life.

Eliina nodded her head and she bit her lip.

"Actually, me too. Although my secret isn't big, it still impacts our relationship a little" she said.

According to her, Diego is from country S itself. So, it won't matter much if she is a princess.

"Let's talk about all these after our date," he said, smiling at her.

But he could feel his forehead getting drenched with sweat.
