Meanwhile…

In Kingdom Wentris…

Nickolas, Camilla, Griffin returned to the Royal palace.

And, as soon as they returned, they went to visit Gabriel, Camilla and Griffin's father.

As he had mild heart stroke, he was still taking some rest and had handed over the reins temporarily to Nickolas and Griffin.

"Did that underworld gang from the US agree to work with us?" Gabriel asked.

"Layla accepted after some persuasion. However, she has some conditions" Nickolas said.

"Conditions? Go on, proceed" Gabriel told him.

"She wanted to take over the base of her enemies which is still under us even after their fall out." Nickolas said.

"She wants to start her new base in our Kingdom?" he asked, not very surprised.

"Yes. Although she was out for revenge to avenge her boyfriend's death, as a boss of a powerful underworld faction she is determined to expand her power" Nickolas said.

"So, have you agreed?" Gabriel asked.

"We don't have other options, dad. We lost our hold on Kingdom Philion after Remus and his brother made a special attack. We want someone powerful to guard our forts here before we could gather up the power again" Griffin said.

"And, how are those procedures going on? Found any fastest way to reinforce our power?" Gabriel asked.

"Like usual, James is with us. With Layla helping us, we can find one or other way to get back to normal. However, in order to do that successfully we need Layla to work with us. Her people are powerful and hold more authority" Nick said.

"Fine. Tell her that we accept her terms" Gabriel said.

"You can go now, I need to rest," he added, waving them off.

The trio left the infirmary quarters and walked back to their respective chambers.

Meanwhile..

Gabriel sat on his bed, thinking about something that's bothering him for a week.

How could they fail to notice Remus and his brother gathering troops and allies?

Did, someone else helped him from behind the screens. Someone who is well experienced and well aware of everything that happened!

More importantly, how did they miss such a huge thing?

It is as if someone did this intentionally.

"My lord, you called for me?" a man walked inside as he bowed a little.

"Did you check on what I asked?" Gabriel asked.

"Yes, my lord. Some people have actually turned into moles and helped Remus to attack our people. However, your future son in law, the second master, has taken care of them" he said.

Nickolas was so cautious of everything he did. He didn't forget to tie any loose ends.

As soon as Remus and his people took over their Kingdom back, Nickolas figured out that Gabriel would ask some other person to check on it.

So, he framed some of the loyal people of Gabriel in it, tortured them to death and announced that they are the traitors.

He didn't let any loose ends point him out.

"Oh. Nick is indeed fast" Gabriel smiled.

He would never doubt Nickolas because Nickolas gained his trust and loyalty over all these years. He did so many sins just to make Gabriel trust him completely.

And, this could be a perfect lesson to Gabriel who backstabbed his brother's family.

"And, did you find out who was helping Remus and his people?" Gabriel asked.

"No, my lord. Not yet. But, we are sure someone powerful is backing them up. But, they were cautious, so it would take us time to find out" that person said.

Gabriel nodded his head. "Find out fast. and also get someone to keep an eye on Layla and their people." he said, before waving him off.

A few days passed by…

Meanwhile, Layla's people took over the base of their old enemies who were defeated.

As soon as her people stepped into the Kingdom Wentris, they made sure to cut all their ties with anyone from Brina's side.

They would secretly contact them very cautiously but, mostly they would avoid doing so.

They don't have any further orders yet.

Meanwhile..

Eliina started missing her boyfriend a lot.

Whenever they are at university, they are very close, almost inseparable. But as soon as they go back to their homes, he would become totally distant.

However, whenever she saw her brothers and their wife's, all lovey dovey, she would miss him too much.

Today, her love sickness reached the peaks because it's their anniversary. Just a year back, he confessed his love for her.

But today, he didn't even message her.

Not even a message.

'Diego, if you meet me today we would be celebrating our next anniversary or else, today would be the day I break up with you' she sent him a message by hacking his phone.

His phone would hang and this message would continue popping up till he replied to it.

She is so hurt and sad.

She wants a lovely boyfriend who cares for her just like how her brothers care for their wife's. How her father doted on her mother.

Diego would dote on her, pamper her and care for her. However, it is permitted at their academy. Once they step out, he would act like she is a stranger.

Eliina wiped her tears away and she stubbornly said to herself, "Let's see how much you love me, Diego."

Meanwhile…

Diego was in his training room, training with others and his brother Griffin.

Camilla, his sister, is sitting at one side, while Nickolas is helping her to ease her sprained leg.

Four of them are training.

It is their morning routine...even when Sabrina, Seth were alive. They train hard...

When Nick, Griffin and Camilla found their roles in the last phase, they realized that they needed to be more agile and ready to fight and protect themselves.

"Are we not going to tell him that Sabrina is alive?" Nickolas asked Camilla, referring to her younger brother Diego.

"We better don't. He is extremely close to Dad and he is being watched by him" she whispered to Nickolas...

"Yes, I noticed that. But, why is he being watched? Is it because he is the next in line for the throne?" Nickolas asked.

After Sabrina and Will are 'dead' and Griffin said he doesn't want the throne. He is never intrested in permitting himself to these boring, scheming politicals.

In short he is like current 'Brina' who once wanted simple life. Her determination to have a simple life came from listening to Griffin talking about the fantasies of simple life.

So, back to point, Diego is the next in line.

Camilla was out of the competition because the noble families and other people in the Royal family felt she wasn't capable of it.

She is too sensitive and kind to become the next for throne..

Sabrina is another case. She is extremely capable to rule, so she was in the line. But, Camilla was not like Sabrina and they also have the males in the Royal family, capable of becoming the next successor.
