The next morning…

After the breakfast, everyone got ready to go back.

Even King Edgar and Queen Elora are off to the Kingdom, leaving Brina, Louis, Will and Brina's parents.

As everyone had been allotted something to do, they got busy in preparing for the final battle.

Brina wanted to go back to the Kingdom but others insisted on staying behind. Her stomach started showing off the little and more concerning factor here is her pregnancy sickness. Nausea, excess sensitivity to sounds and smell….

"Dear, you just got reunited with your parents and this is also the rightful time for you to take some rest." King Edgar said as he patted his daughter in law's head.

"Listen to him, dear. When everything is prepared and it's time to move further in your plan, you will get busy and stressed. And, in order to find strength to do it, you need some more rest" Queen Elora said.

"But, mom, how can I-" she got interjected when Katherine took her aunt's side.

"If we really need your help, we will call you back, Brina. For now, you have many people helping you and we could do our best. So, rest assured take care of my godchildren first" Katherine chided her friend.

"Love, listen to them. The last thing you want now is to get Rhianna prescribe you another month of bed rest and strict food diet" Louis warned her. "If you really want to go through that phase again, I will go and pack our bags and let's go back to the Kingdom" he added.

And, when she heard his warning, Brina immediately sealed her mouth.

Bed rest??

Never again! She doesn't want Louis to treat her like a little baby and nag about everything. She doesn't want to see the overprotective shade of her husband again.

That's too overbearing.

When Louis saw his wife's obedience, he chuckled and pecked her lips. "Good girl" for which Brina could only pout as she continued clinging to his arms.

Meanwhile, James on one side is looking at them with amusement.

Someone actually made Sabrina to cave in!! That too, just with one sentence!!

Ahhhh....

It's a miracle.

As someone who knows about Sabrina, he is aware of how she is...

She was very stubborn and never listened to others.

Sabrina has really changed a lot...

Or, Edward is the only one who could tame her....

While James was amused and surprised, Nick was jealous.

How come Sabrina is so different while she is with Edward compared to their time together.

Did she ever love him??

Nickolas just sighed and massaged his head.

"Cam, let's go now. Otherwise, your father might get suspicious" Nickolas said as he approached his 'fiancée'.

Camilla who was talking with Remus enthusiastically, nodded her head in understanding.

"I will call brother Griffin and James as well" she said and walked away.

And, when Nick and Remus were the only people standing, Remus just walked away as if Nickolas was invisible.

His Sabrina didn't talk with him.

No one from her side talked to him...

His, once upon a time best friend, Remus, continued avoiding him while others still suspect him.

"My life is bound to be like this" he whispered to himself and looked at Brina last time.

She is now bidding farewell to her cousins, Camilla and Griffin. Everyone looked so blissful and cheerful, except him.

"You remember your task, right?" Louis asked as he walked to Nickolas who was actually staring at his wife.

For one second, Louis almost felt his hands move to gouge his eyes out. However, as they still have some work to squeeze from him, Louis controlled that urge.

"Yeah. Tell Gabriel that Layla and her team agreed to join the hands with them. Later, help her to let her forces into the kingdom" Nickolas said.

"I know what I am doing and I have been doing this for years. I don't want someone else to remind me about it" he scoffed.

Louis smirked, his eyes cold and his aura very terrifying.

"If you would have known that well about what you were doing, you wouldn't have become a puppet in Gabriel's hand and helped that Bastard too try to kill my life" he scoffed.

"And, I am not reminding you, Mr. Nickolas, I am warning you not to get side tracked like before. This time, you wouldn't be having a second chance if you make the same mistake. I will personally chop you and feed my sharks" Louis warned, his voice so dominative and overbearing.

With that terrifying aura, surrounding him, Nickolas couldn't bring himself to reply. He just gulped down and walked away.

"Layla, I want you to keep a close eye on him. One wrong move, he is dead in KY hands" Louis said to his friend who just approached him.

And, after saying that, he walked back to his wife who is bidding her farewell to Harry, Remus and Rhianna.

As soon as he approached them, he morphed back into a jovial and caring husband.

Layla just smiled as she looked at her best friend. 'His protectiveness towards his wife reminds me of my boyfriend. Ishhh... ' she thought.

Later, everyone went back and it was only Louis, Brina and her family.

"You guys haven't had any private time for a few weeks. I will take care of Will for these few days and why don't you both have some quality time?" Brina's father George asked after the dinner time.

Brina is about to go and spend time with Will but Louis was reluctant to let go of her. These few days, they were surrounded by many people and they barely got time.

"Dad, there is no-" she got interjected when her father chuckled, seeing her red face.

"Babe, I agree with dad. I am hungry for you" Louis said, making Brina speechless.

"What?? Aren't you having your full every night" Brina asked, totally forgetting that her father is also there with them.

"I am insatiable" Louis said and Brina rolled her eyes. However, she blushed when she realized that her father is still sitting with them.

She couldn't help but bury her face in her hands. What an embarrassment!!

That's her father!

Her father just chuckled. "I didn't listen to anything. You guys can continue this conversation" he said.

"There was a small lake house at the end of the town. I got it built just like our vacation home during your childhood. I wanted it to be a memorial of you and Seth." he said, sighing.

Remembering his son made him sad.

However, he didn't show it in front of Brina.

"You guys can take some days vacation here and refresh your minds," he added.

When Louis heard that it resembled the vacation house of Brina's childhood, he got excited.
