After having lunch with Queen Elora, Brina went to meet Ethan.

"I know," Brina said. Meanwhile, her hands just couldn't help but rest on her stomach.

She still couldn't digest the fact that she is pregnant. It is so sudden that it is like a dream to her.

"Then, I presume, you didn't come here to talk about Nat and your cousin, Griffin" he asked.

"Yes, I came here to ask you something else, Ethan. I want to know what Greta's real story is," Brina said.

"No," Ethan right away rejected. "It's just too disturbing," he said.

"You know that the seed I planted was swapped with a dead plant right?" Brina asked.

"What? When?" he asked, shocked.

"I hope she will get out of this soon. It was all my fault. I left her alone when she needed me the most" Ethan said, his face filled with guilt.

"Hey, that's fine. At last you both are together, right?" Brina comforted him.

Ethan smiled gratefully. "Yes. Thanks to all of you. Otherwise" he couldn't complete it but shiver.

"Back to the point. Your plant died and then-?" he asked.

Brina narrated everything to him.

"The thing is, Louis said that the same happened to your grandfather's first wife. He told me that her plant died and she couldn't give birth as well. He said that this has made everyone believe more in this foolish tradition" she added.

"But, why am I feeling like Greta has her hands in that accident too? She would do the same as what she has done to me" Brina asked.

"So, that's the reason Louis asked me for the real story too. I think he suspected the same. I told him I will tell him about it, tonight" Ethan said.

"Now, the real story please" Brina asked, anxious.

"You shouldn't have to worry that the same will happen to you." Ethan nonchalantly said.

"So?" Brina asked, now totally alarmed and guarded.

"That means you aren't pregnant, that's why" he said.

But, she composed herself and managed to ask.

"But I want to know the story!" Brina insisted.

"All right. If you are this stubborn, I can't do anything. Don't blame me if you feel disturbed because of the story. You ladies are sense-" he got interjected when Brina sternly said, "Story please!"

"OK, here is the story then" he said.
