King James always had a crush on Brina but when he found out that she got engaged to Nickolas, he suppressed his crush.

However, till now he didn't marry even when he was already crowned as King.

"As he hates Nick, he might agree to help you. So, bringing up that I am alive is not needed. First of all make sure he is not in rebellion squads already" Brina firmly said.

"Don't worry. We were watching his moves for a few months already. He is trustworthy" Remus said.

"Go on, then! Why are you disturbing me on my marriage day?" Brina scoffed.

"I said I will help you but that doesn't mean I will involve myself in all this mess. I want to enjoy my honeymoon and have some peaceful time with my husband. So, please don't contact me until it's very important" Brina said.

"Sorry. I didn't think of it" Remus apologized.

Brina smiled. "Of course, you wouldn't. Get married soon, Remus. You will have someone to spend some time upon and drill some common sense into you" she said.

Though her voice is stern and their friendship has always been on thin lines, she cares for him. But, obviously not as much as Remus cares for her. He is hiding many things from her so that she wouldn't feel more guilty than what she is facing now.

Remus of course understood that Brina is talking about Princess Penelope. But what can he do?

He couldn't forget his first love, Niccy.

Evening party…

Brina and Louis were wearing the matching colors. Brina's gown has red and black combined while Louis's suit has the same color combination too.

"You are looking stunning," Louis said as soon as they met near the doors.

"And, I hope you wear red lingerie tonight. You will look sexy and ravishing in it" he whispered huskily.

Brina rolled her eyes inside. This man!!

However, she decided to fulfil his tiny wish. After all it is her husband who is asking specifically for it.

"Sure, honey." Brina whispered back, however her fingers traced on his chest as it traced down, close to his waist belt.

Louis's abdomen tightened and he grunted. He roughly grabbed her hand and pinned it to her side before whispering to her.

"Dare you do this again, I will just carry you on my shoulders, back to our wedding night suite" he said.

His voice is already dry, making Brina chuckle.

However, before they could continue teasing each other, the double doors opened and everyone was already there.

Instantly, their mischievous faces morphed into happy and innocent faces as they entered inside, greeting everyone with a slight friendly nod.

Later, everyone toasted for the couple and presented their gifts to them. And, after all these pleasantries, they had a sumptuous dinner served.

After that was a dance.

First, Brina and Louis went on to the floor and started to dance in a slow, rhythmic fashion. Soon, Ethan and Natalie, King and queen, every couple joined the floor.

Time passed in a blink of an eye and it was already past eight at night.

Brina is sitting at the table along with Charlotte and Katherine. However, Charlotte seemed a little sad.

"Char, what happened to you? Why are you in mood off?" Brina asked.

"My brother Cavin, Brina. I thought he would turn up at least to this event. However, there is no clue of him...it's making me worried" Charlotte said.

Cavin was in the borders of Kingdom Aletros and Kingdom Wentris, looking into the chaos the rebellion forces were creating.

It was very dangerous and recently they have lost contact with him. However the Royal family had hidden it from others.

As soon as Brina heard Charlotte, she pursed her lips.

She knows where Cavin is now.

Long back, she felt suspicious and asked Remus to look into it. And, with help of his team he found that Cavin was injured and was brought back to one of the hospitals by the Royal family.

His leg got fractured and now, they had to do surgery and replace his broken bone with a rod. But, to make others stop worrying about him, they didn't tell anyone about this.

"Char, don't worry. Brother Cavin is fine. He will return in a month...I am sure about it" Brina said, instantly making Charlotte sigh in relief.

She trusts Brina…

Meanwhile, Katherine walked to Brina and whispered something in her ear.

As she has to get herself ready for her awaited first night, she has to leave a little early.

Moreover, Louis is busy discussing something very seriously. Something might have happened.

"Fine then. Just tell him that I will be going back then" Brina whispered back to Katherine.

"Yep, I will tell him that you will be waiting in your room, dressed up in a sexy ling-" Katherine stopped teasing when Brina smacked her hand playfully.

Louis asked Katherine to inform Brina that something came up and if she wanted she could go.

"Fine… fine. Don't get shy, it doesn't suit you" Katherine teased.

Brina just rolled her eyes and exited the ball room after informing her mother in law and father in law.

She directly went to Louis's quarters.

Their tiny home is on the second floor of his quarters, just like a mini villa inside his quarters in the palace.

In that mini villa, which has three bedrooms upstairs, two are for their kids and another one is their marital bedroom which has a baby nursery connected to it.

And, just like she thought, their bedroom is decorated with flowers and candles.

As she is allergic to roses, they used jasmines of different colors. Candles are already lit up and the room is already filled with sweet fragrance.

The windows are closed with curtains and the room is perfectly dimmed for the passionate night. The setting is already making her excited and anxious.

Their huge bed is already decorated and the thin, dark web like fabric is dropped down, covering the whole bed in all the directions.

At one side of the room, a dining table for two is decorated with candles and the wine glasses and bottles were placed on it.

Brina looked around for a second and exhaled, a little nervous.
