"It means she is the daughter of the person who caused your parents death" Ethan asked.

"Yeah. But we never consider that Bastard as her father, Ethan. Have you ever heard me addressing Morgana as my aunt?" Brina asked him in return.

"Yes. I understand that you never considered Moragana as your aunt. It's because she doesn't want to get acknowledged as his wife" Ethan said.

"But, Sabrina, I need a detailed explanation. Natalie is my wife and I have to protect her" Ethan said.

"See what, Natalie isn't like you....she is not strong and cunning. She is naive, innocent and sensitive that she still doesn't know how harsh this world is. She needs someone to protect her every time. In order to do that, I have to understand what's really going" he added.

Her adopted family, Smith's, have really taken too much care of her that she was brought up like a princess and was given everything she needed. Afraid of what might happen to her, they protected her to the extent that she failed to understand how this world functions.

She is actually not a person who has to be born in this cruel world. She would have fit perfectly in the ancestral times when humanity is not yet endangered.

"We didn't tell anyone till now because we want her secret not to be disclosed, Ethan. Remember that nothing will happen to your wife as long as her father remains unaware of her existence" Brina said after hearing his explanation.

"But at the same time when his wife, Morgana was abroad, Gabriel joined his hands with one of the strongest Noble families in my kingdom. His intentions were clear and that is, taking control of the throne" she said.

"No. With Natalie's elder brother, Griffin. You might know him as Prince Griffin" Brina said.
