"However, abiding by our rules, we decided to conduct the voting process. All the leaders of the House's and participating ladies must register their votes right now" King Edgar announced.

But, it suddenly turned exciting when the Royal guard hurried inside with surprising news.

When King Edgar heard it, he frowned.

"Let her in, dad. Let's see what she can do" Louis whispered.

He isn't surprised. Remus already warned him it might happen.

So, Louis already made sure she wouldn't mess the things up.

For everything that bitch did, he really wanted to give a big faceslap. Till now, he has respected Brina's request and didn't interfere.

"Let her in," King Edgar ordered.

After a few minutes Olivia entered with her brother in tow.

She is confident, surprisingly!

"Why are you here?" King Edgar asked. "Didn't you just get dismissed from the bride selection event?" he asked.

"Your highness, I will go back if you present me with the proper evidence that I cheated in the exam" she said.

King Edgar frowned.

"Your highness, the evidence got deleted. I really don't know what happened. It has to do something with the attack a couple of days back" Governor Bernard apologized.

It seems like when the attack happened, Olivia's grandfather tampered with the evidence.

When Olivia saw the hard expression on King's face, she smirked.

"As the voting process is happening, I will join too" she said. "Thank you, your highness," she said.

However, she doesn't know why the voting is happening. So, she could only presume that the King doesn't want the event to happen simultaneously when the Rebellion strikes the kingdom again.

She thought that the King was scared of the Rebellion. And, they are really in the idea that the King isn't aware that it's her maternal father who attacked.

And, her brother Owen also assured her that Katherine will also support her! His grandfather's people have as usual blackmailed Katherine's house.

"Then, we shall continue the bride selection, your highness. My house and I have not supported Lady Brina. So, it isn't unanimous" Olivia said.
