"So, you both want to sleep seperate or will you take Brina with you to your suite?" King Edgar asked Louis, teasing his son.

Louis didn't even bat his eye before answering, "Of course my room. We have been living together, after all"

Queen Elora chuckled.

Though she is shocked because of sudden reveals, she is happy for her son.

She felt like Louis and Brina were really destined.

Yes, there are many things yet to be discussed about Brina and her background, it won't change the fact that Edward is in love with her and she is the dearest goddaughter of the King.

So, no matter how dangerous it might turn out, they will support her. King was already guilty for not being for Brina while she needed the help.

Now, the time has come and he is adamant to help her.

Meanwhile, King Edgar chuckled.

"All right. You both have to take some rest now. We will talk later at dinner time" he said and he lovingly gazed at Brina.

He patted her head in the same way he used to do when she was a two years old baby. Brina smiled at him.

When she sensed the fatherly love in his eyes she was greatly moved. It reminded her of her father.

"Rest well, dear. And, don't worry about other matters okay? You have all of us to share your responsibilities with. So, please don't even think about other matters and rest peacefully" King Edgar said, ruffling her hair.

"Thank you, your hig-'' Brina is about to call him your highness but King Edgar interjected her.

"You can call me dad just like how Edward calls me" King Edgar said smiling at her.

Brina nodded her head, a heart warming smile adorning her beautiful face.

"Now, go and rest, honey. We will take care of the rest of the thing's" Governess Morgana said.

Louis silently led Brina to his suite. However, he has his arms wrapped around her while his lips are touching her head, lovingly.

Brina's head is leaning on Louis's chest and her eyes show how exhausted she is.

As she has to recall her past, it exhausted her emotionally and mentally.

However, she felt very relieved after confessing everything. It felt as if his huge weight had been lifted from her shoulder.

"Want something to drink?" Louis asked after making her sit on the couch.

Brina never thought it would turn out like this. She has imagined a lot worse that she has continuously blamed herself for all of this.

However, she didn't even expect in her dreams that King Edgar is her Godfather and he is ready to do anything to protect her.

Brina always thought Louis wouldn't take this matter seriously. He has constantly proved to her that nothing is more important than her to him.

His understanding levels and consideration has often awed her. So, she has predicted that he might take her bad past light and easy. After all, she didn't make any mistakes that caused this Rebellion.

Her enemies just used her as a catalyst. These sort of violent things are bound to happen because of the power greediness some nobles have.

"Baby, to earth please" Louis playfully said, waving his hand in front of her eyes.

Brina blinked her eyes, coming back from her reverie. She couldn't help but purse her lips.

It made her uncomfortable when Louis just pretended as if he hadn't heard anything and was not angry at her.

Meanwhile, Louis noticed that Brina spaced out again. And, when he saw her eyes, he just knew what she was thinking.

He sighed internally as Brina always thinks too much.

He sat down beside her and took her into his arms.

"What are you thinking, love? Is there something that's bothering you?" he asked.

"You... aren't you angry that I kept these many secrets from you? You should be very angry right?" she asked, her voice meek and tired.

Only in front of him she could show her real emotions. Although everyone thinks her as stubborn and brave Princess, she is not so brave as she is portrayed as.

"Yeah, I am angry with you. Angry that you have been carrying this huge burden all alone on your shoulders as if you didn't have a boyfriend who could share it equally with you. I am very angry that you have let your imagination run wild. I know that it is the reason you didn't tell me till now. You have been afraid of how I would react if you tell me all this. Aren't you?" Louis asked.

Brina nodded her head.

"I know how bad the relationship between our kingdoms has been. So, I have thought you wouldn't be happy to know that I am the Princess of your enemy Kingdom."

"Some people still blame me, that was the reason why the Rebellion happened. Although it doesn't make sense, their hatred towards the Rebellion made them think like that. So, I-"

"So, you thought I might react just the same way they did and maintain my distance from you?" Louis asked, completing her words.

Brina nodded her head.

Louis sighed. "I never thought you would think of me as such a heartless person" he said, pretending to be hurt.

However, he isn't blaming her.

Fear is a very irrational thing. It makes our imagination go wild that we often fail to see through reality. Even he was in the same position when he confessed to her.

He let his imagination run wild that he couldn't open up to her till the truth was demanded.

The only difference here is, his secret was small and nothing much serious unlike here, which was very huge and has many dangerous things connected to it.

Of course she just can't open up and easily throw her words like, 'Hey, I am not a commoner as you thought. I am Princess of your enemy Kingdom and one of the reason why Rebellion started'

And, of course he understood that.

Meanwhile, Brina hugged him tightly. "I was very afraid how you would take it, Louis. I didn't mean to belittle our love nor I have thought you as shallow minded. It.. it's just that I didn't know how to break it to you. It has become complicated even before I noticed it." Brina said, her tears wetting his shirt.

Louis instantly became alert. "Hon, I was just teasing you. I didn't mean it, okay? I already told you I understand. So, why are you still dwelling on it, huh?"
