If these brother's wouldn't have bailed on the last second and if they would have done their work properly, this disaster wouldn't have happened.

And, for this, she could never forgive them.

If they would have told her that they couldn't come over, she would have brought her own people. However, Remus and Remund wanted to tag along, so she deployed her people somewhere else. So, when the attack happened she and her family were outnumbered.

Meanwhile, the whole room was silent.

They have heard of the former Princess of Kingdom Wentris. They have heard how capable the brother and sister duo were.

They were loved by their people and when the former King was ruling, Kingdoms Wentris was at peace.

However, after their death, everything changed.

But, no one have ever thought that it was murder but not accident. They never thought that behind their death, it lies a sad and horrific end.

Meanwhile, after hearing her story, some couldn't help but admire Brina. Some felt pity for her as she lost her parents.

In contrast some of the others felt angered. They couldn't help but blame her. At the end of the day, she was the one who started Rebellion.

"Your highness-" someone was about to interrupt but King Edgar stopped them with his hand.

"You are the daughter of George and Jennifer?" he asked.

His voice was nostalgic?!

"Yes, your highness" Brina answered, confused because of that tinge of nostalgia in his voice.

She couldn't help but gaze at her Godmother Morgana.

What is happening now?

Why did the king sound as if he just got his lost child back?

Meanwhile, King Edgar turned to Governess Morgana.

"Why haven't you told me that she isn't dead?" he demanded her.

"That was supposed to be a secret, King Edgar. I can't just tell everyone right, especially to a King" Governess Morgana defended herself.

Meanwhile, Brina exchanged a look with Louis who just shrugged his shoulders.

Even he doesn't know why his father's mood changed drastically.

Happy..

Affectionate..

"She could be your god daughter, Morgana. But I am her Godfather!!!" King Edgar deadpanned, shocking everyone.b

Especially Brina and Louis.

World is indeed small!

"George wouldn't have wanted you to hide it from me, Morgana. I would not have let the Princess suffer this much! Poor child" he angrily scoffed.

But his voice is full of guilt and sadness.

"Really? Where did you go when he -" Morgana stopped when Brina interjected.

"Sorry for intervening, your highness, but, could you please tell me what's happening? How could your highness be my Godfather? Especially when both the Kingdoms are considered as enemies?" Brina asked King Edgar.

King Edgar looked at Brina and smiled at her.

"Princess, don't you remember playing with your Godfather when you were little?" he asked.

Brina recalled, but she was just two or three when that happened. However, her parents used to tell her about how much she used to play with her Godfather.

However, whenever she asked them who he is, they used to divert the topic. So, Brina could only presume that something bad happened between them and thus, severing that close bond.

Brina shook her head. "I know that I used to like my Godfather so much and that I used to play with his son's, but my parents never said you actually are," she replied.

"Yes, yes, when you were small, you were so close to Prince Ethan and Prince Edward. Especially Prince Edward. And, yes, the reason your parents never brought my topic was because of the bond between our respective Kingdom's"

"Me and my first wife met your parents in Alpha Academy. We shared a close bond for over three years before passing out of the Academy. Later, even after I and your father became king's of our respective Kingdoms, we used to meet up and spend a few days with our families"

"As you were the only girl among the four, I doted on you a lot and demanded that I had to become your Godfather." King Edgar said, chuckling.

"However, the friendship between families got severed due to the political affairs. Though we didn't want to break our bond, the pressure was already too much and we couldn't continue the close proximity between the enemy Kingdoms" he said.

Brina nodded her head, understanding it.

She heard that there was a disagreement between the court's of two Kingdoms on some matters related to boundaries.

Meanwhile, Louis stood there, rooted.

Ahh, he remembers kissing Brina's cheek while he was just a toddler. Even from that age, he had feelings for her...God!

They are really destined!

Meanwhile, it looks like Brina is on the same page as him. She couldn't help but smile too.

"I am sorry for not being there, child." King Edgar said, however before he could continue, a sudden shock engulfed them all over again.

Louis abruptly approached Brina and hugged her all of a sudden.

'It could be because she is his childhood friend' the heads of the houses thought. No one is ready to give up on the bride selection event yet.

Although they know that Princess Sabrina is the most capable, they are also aware of the consequences.

But, anyway, their Kingdom is in a risky situation now. Her support would only bring them some gain.

She is after all one of the founders of this powerful group which is fighting against the Rebellion.

Moreover, her fame has not yet vanished in her Kingdom. If the people and supporters of the former King (Brina's father) finds out that she is alive, it will cause a great uprising in Kingdom Wentris, in turn, creating instability in Rebellion groups.
