Louis couldn't help but worry. Brina is not from any of the noble family and this is making him restless.

That's how Kingdom Philion collapsed. The family of the military cheif got sold out to the head of the Rebellion. And, he created disputes among the Noble families discreetly and backstabbed the Royal family while pretending as their loyal servant.

Now, Kingdom Aletros has to save themselves by staying reunited.

However, there are these power greedy moles who just could ruin everything.

Louis was pretty overwhelmed with all these happening.

Though he is clever, very capable and could be a potential king, it is still true that he isn't as experienced as these old hags here.

He needs some substantial amount of time to understand the real depths of the Noble families and what their main motives are. This couldn't be done even if he is extremely clever. It's the factor related to time, not to one's mind and hardwork.

And, in the first place, he never wanted to become a King. So, to get accustomed to all these and plan the counter moves before handed, he needs some experience which in turn demands time.

But the bitter fact is that he doesn't have much time. He could ask Ethan and his father, however, they could only help to some extent. It's limited!

Moreover, he is worried of Brina too.

He doesn't want this to implicate on her. Though he knows she could handle this, he will always have this fear.

Even his mother was capable just like Brina. But, didn't she die because of these treacherous political games?

"Honey, what are you thinking?" Brina asked, opening her eyes. She could sense the tension and fear emanating from his body. It is too obvious that something is off.

Louis shook his head and hugged her even more tightly. "Nothing, baby. I just spaced out a little." he said, instantly composing himself.

"Come on, as we completed our dinner, let's start our game" he said, lifting her in his arms and kissing her forehead.

However, his skillful distraction didn't work for her. She is already accustomed to how his mind works.

"You can tell me you know. I can try to help you" Brina said, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"It's really nothing baby. Just some boring political things. Don't worry about that drama for now and let's focus on your exam first" Louis said, and this time he didn't leave any space for argument.

Which, Brina understood. If he doesn't want to speak about it, she will of course give him as much as time he needs. She knows that some things take some time to open up. No matter how close the other person is…

Meanwhile, Louis deposited her on the bed and sat down beside her.

Brina, however, moved away and sat across him as she opened the documents to study. But there was a teasing smile plastered to her face, evident that she is doing this out of fun but not because she is angry.

Louis pouted as he 'pleadingly' glared at her. "Why did you move away?" he asked.

"How can I sit intimately with my sir, while I study? It's inappropriate" Brina teased.

Louis rolled his eyes. "Hell with ethics" he said as he yanked her towards him and pulled her into his lap.

"It's scientifically proved that one could do their work effectively if they sit close to the person they love. It makes mind work more effectively" Louis whispered to her.

His mood took one eighty degree turn.

"But, it equally distracts too," Brina said, making a puppy face.

"I won't distract you, love. I am here to help you" Louis said. "Now go on and start your work" he encouraged her.

However, in contrast to what he spoke, his hands sneaked into her camisole, caressing her waist and playing with her waist band at the same time.

Brina's breath hitched. She glared at Louis.

"Do you want me as your wife or not? If you want to tease me and disturb me, you can proceed with it, however, you will not get to tease me again. Go and marry Olivia" Brina said.

Even she didn't know why her anger started triggering too often.

She couldn't help but blame this Academy. It's bringing 'Sabrina' back!

The short tempered one.

Though Louis was momentarily confused because of her mood swings, he assumed that she was in her period.

There were a lot of mood swings recently.

One thing he learned from his girl best friends is, 'never provoke the women when they are in their periods. Sometimes their anger can skyrocket'.

"Sorry, future wifey. Let's proceed with exam preparation" Louis said, retrieving his hands out from her camisole. He just wrapped them around her waist, losely.

Brina chuckled inside.

Louis is patient…

He has to be.

Later, Brina continued skimming through the history and other things she already knows.

It didn't take her more than a few minutes, amazing Louis.

"Finished?" he asked, his eyes wide.

"Yes sir," Brina replied, giggling.

"So fast, baby! How's it possible?" he asked.

"I will tell you later." Brina briefly replied.

Just a week more.

The day he kissed her a few years back, is just a week later.

So, Brina decided to recreate it and confess to him that she is Beatrice.

And, the other secret, she will tell him when the time comes.

"Okay, hon. Lemme ask you questions now" Louis grinned.

He already got accustomed to this, 'I will tell you later'. And, he isn't annoyed or exasperated.

For now, they have enough to worry about. Their tensions are handful to have the luxury of thinking of her secrets.

"Sure, darling. Ten questions okay?" Brina grinned a reply.

"Who was the King of the Kingdom Phliion in 19XX?" Louis asked.

He really doesn't want to give her a chance to win. And, even if she wins, he is going to be the one who will be profited.

"Tricky one. Actually, there was no King in that year in Philion. After the King died, the next in the line vanished. It took them some months to find him" Brina said.

Louis was surprised.

This is something very trivial one. However, his babygirl even went into details.

"Babe, it isn't in the books. How do you know?" Louis asked.

"As I said, I have some friends who could dig deeper than what books tell us," Brina winked. "Now, I need to make my wish," she said.

"Ahh. Sure" Louis said.

Brina chuckled. "Darling, dance for me" she said.

"Dance?? Only if you are my partner" Louis replied as he extended his hand to her.

"Alone" she said.

"No" he immediately replied.

"Baby, I am in command of her. Go and do strip dance for me" Brina winked at him.

"Pass" he grumbled.

"This isn't some silly game, Louis. We forgot the rules?" she asked.

"Fine hon. Let's finish all the ten questions and then I will do it" he said.

"Okay! Proceed" Brina smirked.

In the next few minutes, they finished their question and answer section.

Brina - 8 points.

Louis - 2 points.

"That's cheating. This can't be possible" Louis pouted.

"No. It's possible if you have photographic memory" Brina winked.

"And darling, I will ask for my wishes on our honeymoon. For now, let's start my real preparation. The current affairs of all Kingdoms. I don't have much time left" Brina said, as she lazily snuggled into his body.

"I will ask for my two wishes on our first night. Just get ready for it" Louis huskily whispered in her ears, making Brina shiver.

She could already sense the hunger in his voice. The insatiable hunger…

Moreover, she already figured out that underneath this gentleman, lies a beast...a starved beast who has many fantasies yet to be fulfilled.

And, not to lie, Brina has been waiting to see that side of him.

Later, they laid down on the bed, cuddled up.

As Louis would narrate her about the current affairs of Kingdom's, all she has to do is listen to them attentively.

Brina is a fast grasper and it wouldn't take her more time. Louis can fill her up with the current affairs of Kingdom Aletros (his kingdom) while Remus could fill the other things up.

She doesn't need to sweat much but listen to them.

"Where do you want to start from, love?" Louis asked, caressing her head.

"How about Rebellion? Isn't it a hot topic now" Brina carefully said.

Though she knows enough, she is curious to learn what he thinks of it. After all, everyone has their own views and stories about this rebellion.

"It is! However, that's a topic which doesn't have proper conclusions and judgements. Everyone has their own point of view in it." Louis said, kissing her forehead.
