Didn't Olivia say that she will make sure nothing wrong will happen?

A few days back…

After Olivia praised Kiara in front of Owen, Kiara was totally ecstatic. She was totally grateful to Olivia fir backing her up.

Kiara's main target, fixed by her parents and her House members, is to get close to Owen, the next head of House Lykaios and elder brother of Olivia.

Kiara's House, House Veinnos, were adamant to make a social alliance with the House Lykaios with a marriage between their children. They wanted to elevate their power and status by making House Lykaios as their in law's

So, Kiara was constantly forced to get close to both Olivia and Owen. However, Owen was not at all interested in her and it made Kirar even more restless.

The increase in pressure from her House made her so desperate. And, Owen started talking to her only after Olivia praised Kiara in front of Owen.

Though Kiara doesn't like Olivia, it has totally taken an opposite turn when Olivia stood up for her and suggested to Owen that she (Kiara) is a potential candidate.

However, she failed very miserably in seeing through the ulterior motives of these cunning siblings.

Totally grateful to Olivia and in order to get close to the siblings, she blindly agreed to do whatever Olivia asked her to do.

'Kiara, if I rank first and become Queen, you will be one of the people who will get profit. I will make sure you will marry my brother and become the mistress of the almighty House Lykaios. And, in order to achieving all these, I need your help'

It is what Olivia said to Kiara and Kiara who was totally elated and flying in her own dream land, right away agreed.

Without asking questions, she injected the drug while she went riding on the next day.

As Olivia assured her that this act won't be found out and doing these types of risks are must to achieve the goals, Kiara didn't have any options but to do it.

Even Owen became very close to her after that day of their deal. They even met for dinner on the same day Olivia was supposed to have dinner with Louis.

And… and, Owen kissed her as well. He promised that he would marry her after Olivia became Queen.

Kiara was too happy to even think of consequences!

She was foolish enough….

Foolish enough to blindly believe in someone. However, at the end of the day, she is still a candidate of the competition and her support matters a lot.

That is why she isn't an insignificant fly to ignore. And, as she is foolish enough and can easily get manipulated, Brina selected her as her first target.

Moreover, foolish people are more loyal to their saviors if they were saved from something dreadful. And, Brina couldn't think of a suitable situation other than this.

And that was the very reason Kiara was more loyal to Olivia as well. She was grateful to Olivia for helping her with Owen.

Moreover Kiara was confident that Olivia, who was very keen with whatever she did, would never fail.

In her eyes, Olivia is cleverest and incredibly powerful. But little she knew there is someone who is more better than Olivia and relatively kind hearted.

Kiara is all over the news!

Olivia's plan was sued and the victim was not Olivia but her!!

She didn't know what to do and she couldn't help but shiver, thinking of the consequences.

And, will Owen disagree to take her into consideration??

What if she fails in marrying Owen? Will her parents abandon her?

Will she be forced out of her 'Lady' position and sent away abroad like her elder sister who failed to secure the alliance?

All these thoughts made Kiara shiver and cry more.

Meanwhile, all of her House members were in the same tension. Unlike Olivia's House, Kiara's House is less powerful but in contrast, they have good unity and support each other through thin.

Fortunately, this revelation didn't cause any internet rifts. All of them are in unity, trying to save their House's prestige.

However, they aren't very kind to stand with Kiara through her tough times. They insisted that she should make her way out of this or else she will be forced out of her 'Lady of the House' position.

After half an hour…

Kiara got a letter from Olivia. Though she wanted to talk through the phone, Olivia didn't want to risk it.

So, she sent a letter. .

'Kiara, I am sorry for this trouble, dear. I didn't expect Princess Eliina to keep tabs on her horse's and the real reports reached the King even before we could figure it out. That is the reason we got caught but don't worry Kiara, Queen mother Greta said she will help us. I had to beg her so much in helping us and fortunately she said she will make sure you will not get banished from participating in the event.'

'All you have to do is confess that you did this because of your own personal reasons and you haven't targeted anyone. Just tell that you wanted to get into top ranks and that was the reason you drugged the horse. Queen mother Greta will take care of everything else. Trust me in this and I will keep my word, sister in law'

Sister in law…

These words were enough for Kiara to forget everything. She isn't in this competition for Prince Edward but for Owen. So, ultimately she achieved what she wanted.

An hour after…

"Mother, what do you mean?" King Edgar asked furiously.

"How can you let a culprit continue in competitions? It's totally absurd" he added.

Queen mother Greta sighed and continued to glare at her son.

"Edgar, though she is allowed to continue, I have allocated enough negative points to keep her in bottom ranks. She can no way get into top and moreover, think about the current situation. Though her House isn't powerful, we have to be on good terms with them and we can't just spoil it by banishing the lady of their House."

"So, let's just allow her. There is nothing we are losing her. Besides, her house will remain grateful to us" Greta reasoned.

King Edgar couldn't retaliate back as well.

His mother is right. Especially at this time, they have to stabilize the kingdom and make sure all the Houses will remain loyal to them.

"And, what is the reason for her actions?" King Edgar asked.

"She is greedy to get into top ranks. She didn't specifically target anyone and no one helped her from inside. As she is last but two she didn't have much to lose and I made sure she will reflect her actions, all right." Greta said.

Though King Edgar wanted to do something more, he is helpless. She is his mother and also Queen mother he can't just retaliate.

"All right mom. I will leave this to you. However, this second event should not be taken into consideration. So, the ranks from first even will be the final ranks as for now" King Edgar said.

That means, Brina is still in the top and she didn't lose anything but gained.
