"One must be accustomed to stressful and tough circumstances to become an ideal Queen. You can't blame them tho." Charlotte told and shifted her attention to Brina.

"We have only one day, Brina. Tomorrow, I will ask your stylist to prepare a suitable outfit and mask for the event. And, if you want to take any sailing classes tomorrow, I will ask dad to make an appointment with the coach. He will teach you the basics but we can't really predict which type of boat you might get the day after tomorrow." She told me.

"Nah, it's okay, Char. I don't want any prep classes. I would rather prefer four of us to spend some time together. As we will team up the day after tomorrow, it's best if I can get to know more about you all." Brina said.

"Okay. As you wish." Charlotte said.

Later, Charlotte and Hailey went back to their respective suites and Brina took a shower.

Then, she started making dinner. She would have gone downstairs to have the sumptuous dinner but she decided to cook for Louis.

It's been days and he had made a coffee for her in the morning although he is so busy.

"Someone is cooking." Louis said, as he approached her from behind and hugged her, like always.

He kissed her neck and inhaled her soothing fragrance. He is so exhausted after having to listen to all the reports and arguments from the Noble Families.

But, as soon as Brina's sweet scent wafted to his nose, everything vanished into the thin air.

"I missed this so much." he whispered huskily, tightening his arms around her waist and burying his face deep into the crook of her neck making Brina gasp.

Being restricted to move, Brina could not do anything but let Louis continue hugging her.

She could feel how tired he must be to act this clingy with her.

Meanwhile, Louis caressed her waist and moved his hand upwards sensually. As soon as his hand reached her shoulders, he pulled her sleeve down her shoulder and started kissing hastily.

"We haven't eaten yet, honey." Brina said, when she felt his hands and lips getting more restless.

"Let's eat later." Louis whispered hungrily.

However, this hunger is for Brina. Not for food.

"But I cooked for you." Brina said, pouting.

Sigh!

He can't withstand her cuteness sometimes.

Louis sighed and straightened their clothes. Kissing her lips, he let her go.

"Go and fresh up first. I will be done by then, Your Highness." Brina teased.

"I am not yet done with you, My Goddess." Louis replied teasingly as he pointed his eyes to the bedroom, before going into the other washroom to bathe.

He came directly from the court meeting.

All day, they were not able to see each other and it has increased their longing for each other. Though they were apart, their hearts are as close as ever.

Every minute of the day, they have been looking forward to this beautiful time with each other.

Brina felt glad that she didn't take the wrong step by not coming here. This happiness and their quality time is all worth it.

"Where is Edward? Didn't he get informed about the dinner meeting?" Queen Mother Greta asked.

As she just came in the morning and it's been months she met her second grandson, Greta has invited them to dinner with her.

King Edgar, Queen Elora, Princess Eliina are all here.. except for Prince Edward who is now enjoying his quality time with his girlfriend.

He knows about the dinner meeting his grandmother organized but he didn't want to go.

Spending his time with Brina is more important than having dinner with his grandmother.

Especially, when his baby girl messaged him not to have dinner and that she is cooking for him.

"Mother, Edward might have got tired. He is still new to this pressure and responsibilities." Queen Elora politely said.

"It's just dinner, Elora! That boy is still so rebellious as ever." she sighed.

"Princess, where is your brother right now? Have he slept?" King Edgar asked Eliina. His voice is so soft and affectionate.

She is after all daddy's girl.

"Brother is having a headache and right away went to sleep after the court meeting." Eliina said.

She knows that her brother is with Brina now. He told her that they will be sleeping together everyday.

"Mother, we all know that Edward isn't actually interested in all of this. It's gonna take time for him to get adjusted and eventually he will decrease his recklessness too. Don't push him too hard." King Edgar said to his mother Greta.

Greta frowned. "He is born for this Edgar. It's all your fault that you pamper and spoil your children a lot. Your first son eloped with a mere commoner.. a gold digger and your second son is not at all filial and respectful. Where as your daughter.. hmph! Leave about her. Is she even a Princess? Where is her etiquette and royalty?" she scoffed.

Eliina clenched her fists. This isn't any 1960's!!

"After Edward's wife gives birth, I will not let you people raise the baby. Send the baby to me and I will show you how to raise the perfect, future heir." Greta ordered.

As it's an unspoken rule that the next heir has to be born within the year of the marriage, Even Edward has to produce the heir as soon as possible.. after his marriage.

But the thing is, will he agree to send his child to an oldie to raise?

Never!!

"And, I want to meet Edward right now myself. I have so much to discuss with him." she firmly said. "Especially about his bride."

"But mother, Edward is having a headache. Let him sleep for tonight and we will ask him to meet you for breakfast tomorrow." Elora said worrying about her stepson.

She is aware that once this lady starts discussing, it will take hours and hours. Her poor son is already having insomnia nowadays.

Greta widened her eyes in anger and glared at Elora. "Where are your manners, Elora? Is this the way you talk with the elder? Since when have you started giving suggestions to elders like this?" Greta fired up.

Meanwhile, King Edgar patted Elora's hand, consoling her secretly.
