Nolen was shocked for the time being and he couldn't contemplate what to do or who to trust.

On one side, it is his uncle and on the other side it is a stranger but a powerful person who actually proved his uncle's loyalty fake.

Meanwhile at Brina and Louis's penthouse.

It's already midnight and both of them were already cuddled under the warm duvet. After their heated passion, they went to bed.

Brina is just wearing her bra and shorts while Louis has only his pants on.

However, they aren't asleep yet. Brina is snuggled in Louis's arms with the laptop in her arms. Her head is lying on his bare chest, directly placed on his heart.

Louis was holding her while his fingers skimmed on her back soothingly. His other hand is caressing her thigh which is resting on his legs.

They looked so intimate and blissful. But to state the absolute fact, they didn't go any further while making out.

As he said, they are taking its slow and relaxed. It was not his fault that he is an old school.

Moreover, this will be both his and Brina's first time, so he wants it to make it memorable for both of them.

"So, Nolen did really take your bait, Ms. Shadow?" Louis teased his girlfriend when he saw the messages and video she sent to her cousin Nolen.

"My research on my cousins didn't really go waste after all. I did study them properly." Brina chuckled and smiled at her boyfriend.

She chucked her laptop away on the bed and sat on his lap, straddling him.

Louis instantly supported her body by placing his palms on her waist. Brina wrapped her arms around his neck and pecked his lips.

"But it's all thanks to you, Mr. Boyfriend. You are the one who provided me with this resources of Robin's betrayal. Otherwise, it would have been difficult for me to find another resources to trap Nolen." she thanked him.

Louis chuckled and flipped her over, now she is under him.

"It wouldn't have been difficult for my genius girlfriend. She would have surely found something more juicy." Louis huskily said, rubbing his nose against her nose.

Brina giggled and cupped his cheeks. "Someone is trying to flatter me here.. hmmm?" she teased.

Louis chuckled a bit and buried his face in her neck, now rubbing his nose against her alluring collarbone. Her strawberry and vanilla scent wafted to his nose, making him more and more intoxicated.

"I'm just stating the fact, lady." he said tracing his lips on her shoulder.

"But I got flattered." Brina admitted, brushing her slender fingers in the locks of his hair.

Louis chuckled, sending the deep vibrations against her bones. "Glad to know that." he playfully teased and shifted himself, so that their eyes are at the same level looking into each other intently.

"Baby, what's your next plan? I am getting excited you know." Louis excitedly asked.

"As Nadia and Nolen walked into your trap, I guess your next target is their uncle Robin. So, how did you decide to handle him?" he asked.

"He isn't a fool like Nadia nor he is as aggressive as Nolen to take the decision in the heat of the moment." Brina said.

"Moreover, his connections run deeper than what we initially expected. So, you must be cautious while dealing with him. Okay?" Louis warned her.

This was something that has been buffing him since the very start of their plan. He is worried that Robin might unmask Brina or worse, hurt her.

They would have easily prevented it from happening but Brina insisted him and Harry not to mingle in this. They can help her but it should be in the darkest shadows, so secretive and quiet.

She is afraid that this simple playback would magnify into a huge revenge, attracting unwanted attention.

So, all they could do is to provide her of resources or sometimes suggest her. But, of course they trust in her more.

And, at the same time they couldn't help but worry about her well being.

"Hmm. I will surely be careful. And, if I want I will ask for your help too, all right?" Brina softly said, sensing the concern in his eyes.

"But for now, I am sleepy baby. Let's sleep." Brina said and yawned adorably.

Louis chuckled and kissed her forehead. "All right, let's sleep then. Good night baby. Dream about me." he said, playfully winking at her.

Brina rolled her eyes but she felt the warmth spreading in her heart. It felt so sweet and happy to be with Louis like this.
