Ho Min Lin was preparing to leave to the hospital when Tan Ji Nan entered the master bedroom.

"I'm going to leave for awhile now. Are you sure you don't want to go with me and check how's Lee Jin Ho?"

"I'm going to read books." He picked up the book at the bedside table and then sat and leaned at the headboard.

Ho Min Lin did not try to pursuade him thou she knew he just making excuses. Her husband doesn't really want to go to the hospital!

"Mom called earlier and she reminded us about the BBQ dinner this Saturday with the Yan's at the Tan's mansion." Tan Ja Nin said instead. "So please try to make amends with your sister before your parents got any idea what's going on"

"I don't think she will be coming. She would rather stay at the hospital and nurse Lee Jin Ho"

"But don't you think it is important for her to show up on this BBQ night? Your parents might get bad feeling about it. This going to be the first time that the Tan's and Yan's will get together again."

Tan Ji Nan nodded.

"Is Dad okay with this dinner plan?" Ho Min Lin asked. She knew it was a family matter so she dared asked about it since she belongs to the Tan now anyways.

"Yeah, I guess he's okay with it. He will never agree with mom to invite the Yan's if he still have ill feelings with them. I think his heart is beginning to heal from the pain. I always believe in their friendship."

"Agree. I have the same feeling towards your friendship with Jin Ho. It is true and can never be broken." She said as she applied the lip tint. She looked at Tan Ji Nan from the mirror.

Her husband did not say a word.

"I'll try to pursuade Tan Ja Nin to come this Saturday"

"Who's going to take good care of Lee Jin Ho when she's away?"

Ho Min Lin's lips curled up.

She knew it.

His husband still cares for Lee Jin Ho.

"Lee Chin Mei?" She said.

"I think Lu Jiaosheng can take a look at him while Ja Nin's out."

"Agree." Ho Min Lin pick up her purse and got up. "I'll take my leave now" She said and went to her husband to give her a peck on the lips.

"Are you going to the hospital with Song Dei Si?" Tan Ji Nan asked.

"Yeah!"

"Okay"

Lee Chin Mei opened the door and saw Song Dei Si and Ho Min Lin.

"Come in!" She said and made way for them to enter. "Sister-out-law isn't here. She went out to shoot a scene this afternoon!"

"Yeah, she texted us. Hopefully, we will just wait for her later before we leave as I need to talk to her about something." Ho Min Lin said and was surprised when she saw Lu Jiaosheng.

"Lu Jiaosheng, you didn't go to work today?"

"I'm working from here. Where's your husband by the way?"

"Home."

Lu Jioasheng nodded.

"How is he?" Song Dei Si asked as she looked at Lee Jin Ho.

"He's sleeping now" Lee Chin Mei answered. She looked at Song Dei Si and was mesmerized with her simple yet captivating beauty.

"What did the doctor say?"

"He doesn't have any ruptured or broken bones or something but he needs to stay for a couple of days here to recuperate."

"Glad to hear that news." Song Dei Si smiled. "It is nice that you're also here to take good care of your brother. Does your parents know about his condition now?"

Lee Chin Mei shook her head. "I didn't tell them"

"I see."

"Which for now is the most logical thing to do right?" Lee Chin Mei asked to get some validation that keeping her brother condition to their parents was just a right decision.

She knew that her parents has the right to know about what happend to Lee Jin Ho but...

Ho Min Lin answered. "Yeah, I think you did the right thing. This situation is just too complicated."

"Agree." Lu Jiaosheng said. He was kinda amazed that at 18, Lee Chin Mei got a good head on her shoulder and knows how to make a sound decision.

She wasn't just that typical brat teeny bopper after all as Lee Jin Ho always trying to mainly put it.

Lee Chin Mei smiled and bowed her head because her face turned crimson. She was sure she saw a satisfied look from Lu Jiaosheng's face.

"Does your parents knew about your brother's relationship with Tan Ja Nin?" Ho Min Lin asked.

"Yes. My brother has already brought her home and they knew that they were now living together." Lee Chin Mei answered. "The truth is they were not in favor with their living arrangement. My parents advocates marriage first before co-habiting."

"Your parents are just too old fashioned just like my parents." Ho Min Lin said.

"Really?"

"Yeah! Don't you know that they have reminded us to wait and get married first before we do such thing!" Ho Min Lin said and can't help but giggled "Min Lin! Look who's you're talking to." Song Dei Si reminded her bestfriend as if telling her that she was just talking to a minor.

"I'm 18 so I am not a minor anymore!" Lee Chin Mei said, she looked at Lu Jiaosheng unsubconsiously.

"Right, so you better keep your virginity intact until your wedding night." Ho Min Lin said.

"Min Lin!" Song Dei Si snapped.

"I am just reminding her as her big sister. She's already an adult now so we should start treating her like one. It is always good to keep your chastity until the wedding day. But if you can't keep it, just make sure you have to give it to the person you really love right?" Ho Min Lin said.

Song Dei Si doesn't any choice but to agree because Min Lin was right after all.

Whilst Lee Chin Mei's face suddenly turned pale.
