"Charie! I'll call you again." Lu Jiaosheng ended the call and got up to check on Lee Chin Mei.

"Don't move." He said when Lee Chin was about to bend down to pick up the broken bottle.

The large pieces of the broken bottle were all scattered on the floor. Lu Jiaosheng went to Lee Chin Mei and without further ado, he lifted Lee Chin Mei up and walked her out from the broken bottle.

Lee Chin Mei was speechless and all she could do was to stare at Lu Jiaosheng's face who are just an inches away from her.

It was just a mere 20 seconds but it feels like he carried her for 20 minutes.

Her world seems to stop.

"I'll call the service maintenance to clean up the mess" Lu Jiaosheng said after he put down Lee Chin Mei and was unaware that the poor girl's heart had rapidly beating.

She nodded and looked at Lu Jiaosheng as he pressed the buzzer to the nurse station.

"I'm sorry but can you please connect me to your service maintenance because they were some broken bottle here at suite 1601"

Lee Chin Mei was again mesmerized on how Lu Jiaosheng said it in a cool fashionably manner. How lucky the woman he will going to marry someday.

But when she remember the woman he was talking over the phone earlier, there was a pain suddenly felt at the corner of her heart.

"The service maintenance will be here in a bit, so stay away from the broken bottle so you won't get hurt" Lu Jiaosheng said and looked at Lee Chin Mei.

"Thank you" she said, she tried to stare back but she could not do so. She felt that the more she looked straight into his eyes, the more he would know her innermost feelings towards him. She looked away and landed her eyes at her brother who was still sleeping. She was glad to know that the sound of the broken bottle did not wake him up. Her needed some good rest.

She scolded herself. When did she became clumsy?

She walked back to the sofa and picked up her phone.

She sent Gu Lauren a message.

LEE CHIN MEI: Do you know what the upcoming movie in the theater now?

GU LAUREN: Movie? Hmmm, me and my boyfriend are planning to watch a romantic movie next week. It is movie by Chu Jiuyou.

Chu Jiuyou. She was the top actress in the industry today. She already watched some of her dramas and she seems not like that actress that much. For her, she wasn't really good. Yes, she was beautiful but acting wise she was trying hard.

Unlike her sister-out-law who was born with natural talent in acting.

GU LAUREN: Why? Do you want to tag along?

Tag along? No way? She would rather stay at home than to be their third wheel.

LEE CHIN MEI: No.

GU LAUREN: Then why do you ask?

LEE CHIN MEI: I'm a bit bored and was thinking of watching a movie then. But I don't want to be your thirdwheel.

GU LAUREN: Then I will tell Wang Chen to join us so we can have a double date.

LEE CHIN MEI: I rather watch alone.

GU LAUREN: Wow! I never watch a movie alone. You're so brave.

Lee Chin Mei twitched her mouth. It it any way possible that the movie that Lu Jiaosheng wanted to watch with the girl he was talking to was the movie Gu Lauren mentioned.

Romantic movie.

And did he mention that when he watches movie with a girl he considered it as a romantic date?

She looked at Lu Jiaosheng and wasn't aware that he was glaring at him.

"Why are you glaring at me?" Said Lu Jioasheng who was observing her while she was busy texting on her phone. He was surprised when she suddenly lifted her face and looked at him glaringly.

She did not answer him but rather asked a question.

"Why do people love to watch such a romantic movie?" She said in an annoyed voice.

"Gu Lauren and her boyfriend are planning to watch a romantic movie next week. What so good on this romantic flick? They are just giving a false hope that everyone has a happy ending."

"Not everyone who's in love will end up together to someone they fell in love with but these romantic movies are always trying to make the viewers believe that once they fell in love, they will get a happily ever after."

Lu Jiaosheng can't help but amazed with what he was hearing with Lee Chin Mei and saw her angry expression.

"Are you also that fond on this romantic flick?" She asked that caught him offguard.

Well maybe yes when he was watching it with his ex-fiancé before.

He seldom watch movies. When he does, he normally like to watch action or sci-fi movies.

"That's depends if I'm going to watch it with my woman then maybe yes." He answered.

"So are you going to watch this upcoming romantic movie too by Chu Juiyou?"

Why does her name sound familiar to him.

Wasn't she the nameless actress before who was trying to hook up with him?

So was she famous now?

"I would rather stay home than watch her movie then. She has a bad acting skills." Lee Chin Mei said.

Thou he hasn't watched any movie of Chu Jiuyou, he could have only agree with what Lee Chin Mei was saying.

"Yes. I would rather stay home too and cuddle with my woman than watching any romantic movie." He said because he could only just agreed on she had said earlier, all of these romantic movies were just make believe.

Lee Chin Mei mood turned more sour and she did not bother talk to Lu Jiaosheng again.
