Tan Ja Nin halted her steps and looked at Lee Jin Ho.

Did he really mean it? Will he die for her?

What does it mean? Her heartbeat started to thump really fast.

Lee Jin Ho looked at her too.

Did he just confess to her?

It may be indirectly but why would someone die for somebody else if he didn't love her?

That struck him.

Did he just fall in love with this vixen?

He suddenly let go of her hands. He didn't understand the sudden fear that he felt.

He was afraid of his own realization.

When Tan Ja Nin did not take her eyes off him, he couldn't look back at her.

Tan Ja Nin smiled at him. Painfully.

"Don't say words you don't really mean!"

She uttered. She saw the fears registered on his face.

Why?

Was he that afraid to fall in love with her?

Wasn't she worth fighting for?

Tan Ji Nan went directly to the side bar when they reached the pool and picked a wine.

"Woah! Isn't that the Cabernet Shiraz limited edition?" Yan Mor Tee asked when he saw the wine that Tan Ji Nan was holding.

"Yes!"

"And you're serving it now?"

"Of course! I always wanted to share this with you guys!"

"We feel so special!" Yan Mor Tee said trying to tease Tan Ji Nan.

"Who knows maybe tonight, it's going to be a night of celebration?" Ho Min Lin said smiling so mischievously.

Song Dei Si can't help but smile with her bestfriend cryptic remarks.

"Like announcing that Song Dei Si is now pregnant?" Tan Ji Nan said teasingly.

Song Dei Si face blushed.

"I wish!" Yan Mor Tee said and smiled at his blushing wifr.

"There's still no news yet?" Tan Ji Nan asked. He would also can't wait for the day that his bestfriend will announce the pregnancy news. "You've been married for quite sometime now. Or having children is not yet part of the plan?"

Yan Mor Tee looked at his wife and realized that they have been married for almost half a year now and suddenly wondered why was she still not conceiving?

He always tortured her every night and he wasn't using any protection.

"I need to work hard." Yan Mor Tee uttered as his lips curled up.

Work hard? Song Dei Si eyes widened in disbelief. Wasn't he at his best performance yet?

She almost could not move every after their lovemaking. He almost drained all of her energy.

"Yeah, we really wanted to see a Little Mor Tee or Little Dei Si now." Ho Min Lin said.

"How about little Ji Nan and little Min Lin?" Tan Ji Nan asked and winked at his wife.

Ho Min Lin face blushed.

"The first baby in the gang should be coming from the couple first! Because they married first!" Ho Min Lin said, her face was still blushing. She can't imagine being pregnant yet.

"Where did we have that rule?" Song Dei Si asked. "That the first baby in the group should be coming from the first couple who got married first?"

"Isn't that what we are all expecting for? Unless you guys doesn't have any plans of having a baby yet."

"It's always been part of the plan" Yan Mor Tee answered.

Because that was the truth. He married her because she wanted a baby.

But that was just a part of his many reasons. He always wanted to marry her.

With or without a baby.

Song Dei Si was the only woman he wanted to call wife.

"Then make a baby now!"

"We're trying...." Song Dei Si answered and lowered her head.

Ho Min Lin knew her bestfriend too well so she knew that when she bowed her head she doesn't want to discussed anymore about it.

"Ja Nin, don't you have any annoucement yet?" Ho Min Lin asked to the approaching woman.

Tan Ja Nin did not hear what Ho Min Lin has said. She was absentmindedly thinking of Lee Jin Ho who suddenly became so silent as they walked together to the pool bar.

"Ja Nin!" Ho Min Lin called her name out loud.

Tan Ja Nin suddenly came back to reality.

"Yes?" She asked, looking at Ho Min Lin with innocent expression.

"I said, don't you have any annoucement? Any new drama?" Ho Min Lin asked teasingly. She looked at Lee Jin Ho and was puzzled because he was also quite in a daze.

"I have a new film coming..."

"See! So that one's would really call for a celebration!" Ho Min Lin said enthusiastically.

Song Dei Si excused herself and went to the powder room.

Ho Min Lin looked at her as she walked away.

"Let me have a bathroom break too. Please wait for us before you open that wine" Ho Min Lin said to her husband and followed Song Dei Si.

She made a quick steps so she could walk beside her.

"You okay?" She asked when she reached her.

"What makes you think I'm not okay!" Song Dei Si asked. She halted her steps so she could reach the powder room immediately.

"I can see through you!" Ho Min Lin said and quickened her steps too.

"There's something bothering you" she added.

Song Dei Si went inside and switched the faucet on.

"Since when were you able to read someone's mind?" She asked sarcastically.

"The moment since I became your bestfriend. That I need to have my psychic mind to play so I can read what's on your thoughts."

Song Dei Si looked at Ho Min Lin.

Ho Min Lin looked back at her too.

She had known Song Dei Si since gradeschool but she will never knew anything about her until she dig deeper.

Song Dei Si was so secretive that sometimes she wanted to doubt herself if she really taken her as her bestfriend whom she can share her secret with.
