Song Dei Si was preparing the chicken broth and the beef broth for the steamboat in the kitchen when Old Master Gu came in.

"You can leave this to the helper, they can do it for you, why don't you join us in the living room and just relax." Said Old Master Gu when he saw her busy at the kitchen.

"Don't worry about me grandfather. I love doing this. I really love to cook something for my love ones." Said Song Dei Si.

"I've heard from Mor Tee that you've already resigned from your PA post at the Yan Enterprise yesterday."

Song Dei Si nodded as she added salt to the chicken broth. "I've enrolled in the cooking school to improve my skills in cookery and the classes will starts on Monday"

"Do you have cooking classes everyday?" Old Master Gu got a glass and took warm water from the dispenser.

"Yes except on Friday. But the cooking lessons will just take half of the day so I still have so much time in the world now and can visit you every once in awhile after the cooking classes."

The Old Master Gu smiled. "But you have to practice more at home if you want to be a renowned chef and own a restaurant someday."

"Hmmm maybe I can practice here?" Song Dei Si sweetly asked.

"That's more like it. My kitchen is open for you"

Song Dei Si took some chicken broth and asked Old Master Gu to taste it.

"How does it taste? Is it okay now?"

Old Master Gu took a sip of the chicken broth and made an okay sign.

"This will be ready for awhile." She looked at her wristwatch and it was past eleven in the morning.

"Your father, Principal Song, how is he doing?"

"He's doing fine. We visit him often every other weekend"

"It sad to be alone. Just like me. How I wish I already have great grandchildren to play with."

Song Dei Si smiled and wished that she get pregnant soon.

"Any baby news yet?"

She shook her head and a sudden sadness appeared on her eyes.

Old Master Gu noticed that and cheered her up. "That's okay, you've just been married for more than two months. Just enjoy the time with my grandson alone for now. Dates as many as you can. Once the baby arrives, you wont have time for these things anymore."

Song Dei Si smiled and turned off the gas range.

"Take advantage of this time to do what you wanted to do. At least you have more time to focus on achieving your dream to be a renowned chef"

"Thanks Grandfather. I will let you know immediately once we have a baby news."

One of the helpers came to kitchen and informed the Old Master Gu "Master Yan and Madam Yan were also here!"

The old man was surprised and went to the living room to greet his daughter and son-in-law. Song Dei Si followed him to greet her in-laws too.

After Song Dei Si greeted her in-laws, she excused herself and went back to the kitcken to prepare the foods in the dining table. Madam Yan followed her and without a word helped her in preparing the foods in the table. Once the table was set, Madam Yan took her camera on her handbag and took a photo of the food presentation in the table. Song Dei Si can't help but asked her. "You love taking photographs?"

Madam Yan did not answer her and continued taking photos of every single food in the table. She stopped for awhile when she saw the pork adobo.

"That's Pork Adobo. It's a Filipino dish. Yan Mor Tee mentioned it to Grandfather and he requested if I can cook it for him. It's a good food. You can also give it a try later." said Song Dei Si, she don't expect a response from Madam Yan but she said it anyway.

"I've got a taste of it before." Madam Yan answered.

That's quite a surprise for Song Dei Si.

"Really, when was it?"

Madam Yan furrowed her brows and did not reply. She seated on her usual seat and told the helper to inform the men in the house that the table was ready and they can have their lunch now.

Song Dei Si did not try to open another conversation and seated on one of the chairs too.

"Wow! This Pork Adobo is really good!" Old Master Gu said as he was eating the meat.

"It is. I have tasted it first when Song Dei Si cooked it for Yan Mor Tee. She spared some for me and Xiao Yi was also able to get a taste of it."

Madam Yan face blushed and was a bit embarrased now that Song Dei Si had known that she have tasted her own version of Pork Adobo.

"Did you also like it Xiao Yi?. I know you're very picky when it's comes to food." Old Master Gu asked.

"Not bad." Said the embarrased Madam Yan.

"Why don't you have more of it this time Xiao Yi!" Said Old Master Gu.

Master Yan picked up a pieces of Pork Adobo Meat and transferred them to Madam Yan's plate.

Madam Yan was left with no choice but to finish the Pork Adobo meat on her plate.

Song Dei Si bowed her head when she saw the disgust from Madam Yan's face.

Madam Yan was resting on her room at the villa and was browsing at Weibo. Master Yan loved the Weibo app and he had teached her on how to use it and encouraged her to post some photos too.

She took her camera and browsed on the photos on the gallery and looked for something to post for the first time.

She stopped for awhile when she saw the photo that she had taken earlier. She transferred the photo from her camera into her phone and posted it on Weibo.

Master Yan was watching television series with his son and daughter-in-law at the living room when he got bored and started browsing the latest post on his Weibo app.

He was scrolling down and was surprised to see a post from her wife.

"Woah! Your mother has finally posted a photo in Weibo!" He said loudly.

"Mom has a Weibo account?" Said Yan Mor Tee as he looked at his father with a surprise expression.

Master Yan nodded and smiled.

"What is her account? I'll add her." Said Yan Mor Tee excitedly.

"Look, come here son!" Master Yan said with so much excitement on his voice.

Yan Mor Tee went to his father and took a peek on his screen and was also surprised when he saw her mother's first post.

"Sweetheart, come here! I wanted to show you something." Yan Mor Tee said to his wife.

Song Dei Si looked at the father and son tandem with a "What's going on?" expression on her face. But she was also intrigued to see what her mother-in-law has posted.

Her eyes widened too when she saw the picture of the Pork Adobo in Madam Yan's post with a caption 'This is my daughter-in-law own version of Pork Adobo. A Filipino dish. It was delectably good.'

Her heart was filled with too much happiness and a tears suddenly rolled down her cheeks.

Yan Mor Tee wiped the tears on her cheeks and embraced her. "Mom is always like that, she seems cold outside and ignore you but deep inside I know that she has started appreciating all your efforts"

"That's right. They say that the best way to a man's heart is through his stomach, I guess it also applicable for the woman's heart too. And my Xiao Yi is a no exception." said Master Yan and was happy to see development on his wife's attitude towards Song Dei Si.

"Dad, what is mom's account? I'll be adding her." Yan Mor Tee asked again.

Master Yan was too happy to share his wife's account to his son.

Yan Mor Tee took his phone from his trouser pocket and immediately added his mom's Weibo account. Her account was not set to private so even if she had not added him yet, he was able to add comment on the photo.

Yan Mor Tee: Glad that you liked it mom. Welcome to the Weibo world ❤️

Yan Mor Tee was the happiest at that moment because he loves how his parents were behaving these last few days. They were more expressive with their feelings with each other now and his mom has started to appreciate his wife.

He remembered the things that he said to his wife last week when they have attended the mass. They asked God for a divine intervention for his mom to start appreciating Song Dei Si and he thought that it was an answered prayer.

Everything seems to fall into the right places.

He was giving more time for his mom to fully accept Song Dei Si.

He knows it may take awhile. But at least he saw some progress.

If he could ask for anything more, it would be to give them a grandchild anytime soon.

He needs to work hard double time to give his parents and in-law a little bun to play with.
