"What are you doing now after you've resigned from your post as principal in Yan High School?" Master Yan asked Song Mingsheng during the meal.

"I'm a part-time Philosophy professor at Woming University now!"

"Wow that's great, at least you still have something to do! Look at me, I am just stuck at home and got nothing to do after I resigned from my post as the CEO. Thou I am a acting as a consultant in Yan Enterprise, but my son being so mighty and capable in everything didn't even go to me for any consultation" said Master Yan in a sad voice. "Just now, he sealed the deal with the new investors as we are trying to expand our business and build a resort in the bay area"

"Because I have Song Dei Si beside me who helped me closed the deal. She is indeed my lucky charm."

"It's always been your ability and capability that made you."

"But without you as my pillar, I cannot be on my top of my game. And it was your pork adobo that sealed the deal."

"What is pork adobo?" Song Mingsheng asked.

"It's a Filipino dish that we have tasted during our honeymoon in the Philippines."

"How does her adobo helped in closing the deal?" Song Mingsheng curiosity sparks up.

"Our inventors have tasted the pork adobo that she cooked earlier and they liked it. They wanted it to be included on the menu of the restaurant that we will be rising inside the resort!"

"Oh! That great! I have tasted it too and yes it was delicious, right XiaoYi?, you've tasted it too? Said Master Yan.

Madam Yan silently cursed her husband for putting her on the spot and she has no choice but to nod.

Song Dei Si was a bit shocked. She did not expect that her mother-in-law has tasted her pork adobo.

"Cooking is one of Song Dei Si's favorite hobbies. She loves to try new dishes when we're still living together and I was always the one who suffered from indigestion."

"Dad! When did you have indigestion?"

Song Mingsheng laughed.

"It's a pity that you can no longer eat the dishes that she cooked everyday." Said Master Yan.

Song Mingsheng nodded "Right."

"Your lost is my gain. Since I always stays at home, I can definitely taste all her cookings."

"At least you won't get bored anymore." Said Yan Mor Tee.

Song Mingsheng smiled. "Just live your life to the fullest by finding a new hobby."

"I just found one." He looked mischievously to his wife.

"Yeah, a new hobby of pestering me." Madam Yan said coldly.

The father and son tandem both laughed.

"Mom, having a classic beauty at 45, dad couldn't just stay at home knowing that one day you'll wake up upon realizing that your husband is already old and no longer appealing to the woman's eyes"

"Who's old? I am just 55. I am not a senior citizen yet. And who says that I've already lost my charm, I can hook a 30-ish woman if I want to, but my eyes can only see your mom"

Yan Mor Tee smiled and was happy to see that his parents were getting along well these past few days. He never saw his father being so affectionate to his mom before. They just talked when it comes to business and family matters, but aside from that he never saw them teasing each other as he grew up. He has already prepared himself that he will never get hurt if one day one of them will file for a divorce but looking at how his father interacts with his mother now, divorce is no longer in the equation. He can see a better growing old with you scenarios for his parent.

"Huh! You are no longer hot like you were before!" Madam Yan said in a slipped of her tongue.

Master Yan smiled. "So you find me hot before?"

Madam Yan's face flushed. She was so embarrassed and tried to redeem himself. "Before but now you're just an old hag!"

"Old hag! Try me!" Said Master Yan.

"Are you two flirting in front of us? Shame on you! Don't try to give me another sibling" Yan Mor Tee said teasingly.

"It's not going to happen." Said Madam Yan, there was a sudden cloudness that appears on her eyes.

Yan Mor Tee suddenly remembered the story that his father has told him. He felt sorry for his parent, specially to his mom. He scolded himself for being insentive.

"Just give us a little bun soon to play with. Right, Mingsheng?" Said Master Yan.

Song Mingsheng was startled and his gaze suddenly swept into his daughter's direction. "Yeah! I am really hoping for a little bun soon!"

"Work hard, son!" Master Yan told his son.

"I'm working double time, Dad!"

Song Dei Si smiled and lowered her head. If they only knew how much she really wanted to have a child now.

Madam Yan looked at Song Dei Si and studied her reaction. Why was Song Dei Si suddenly felt awkward? Does it mean that she didn't want a child yet? Why? Because she wanted to pursue her career as a restaurateur first?

She silently scolded her. 'If her focus is her career first, she should not have married my son'
