989. It’s Really Not Easy to Make a Living in Every World (THE END 1)Translator: Guy Gone Bad
The red-haired man looked at Cang Qian with hatred. “You idiot, I’ve been waiting for you for so long, and you give me food with such a strange taste?”
Cang Qian said embarrassedly said, “…You need to give me time. A chef isn’t made in a day.”
Damn, Zheng Xuan said it right! After ascending into the immortal world, it was not that someone made food for him, but he made food for someone else! Zheng Xuan the doomsayer!
“You’d better hurry up and learn how to cook before I can’t stand trying to kill you.” The red-haired man was angry.
Cang Qian gritted his teeth and said, “…I’ll try.”
The red-haired man gave a cold snort and said, “Nearly over tens of thousands of years, no one has ascended from the interface you ascended. I thought it would be a super talent, but it turns out to be a dumbass. How did you make it? Just some sh*t luck?”
Cang Qian smiled awkwardly and said, “I was lucky.”
The red-haired man sniffed. “I knew it was.”
“The phoenix race regards red as their honor. How about your dragon race?” Cang Qian asked, changing the subject.
The red-haired man stared angrily at Cang Qian and said, “It’s none of your business!”
Cang Qian blinked, his eyes flashed a little suspiciousness, and said, “I’m just asking. Forget it if you want to talk about it.”
The red-haired man snorted bitterly. “Fool.”
Cang Qian felt depressed, “Why don’t you live with your race? Are you also abandoned?”
“Shut up! If you said it again, I’ll cut off your head and make soup!” The red-haired man looked bleak.

Cang Qian lamented and closed his mouth.
“Big brother.” A clear voice rang out, and a man with blond hair suddenly appeared in front of Cang Qian.
The red-haired man gave him a lazy look and said, “What are you doing here?”
“Father said that someone has slaughtered the whole race of the Flaming divine birds, so he specially asked me to come to take a look.” The blond man said faintly.
The red-haired man laughed and said, “Oh, as you saw, I killed those damn birds. Would you like to have a taste? That silly man is so old, and his hands still stretch so long. Isn’t it enough for him to manage the affairs of the dragon race? Unexpectedly he even tries to reach his hands into the bird race. He really has the time!”
“You have killed the Flaming divine birds? After all, they are dependency of the phoenix race, and you may enrage them.” The blond man frowned.
The red-haired man said, “So what? The old dragon is aged and starts to act cowardly. So, is he afraid of that flock of birds?”
“Father is not afraid of them, nor will he be.” Said the blond man.
“Is that so? I thought the old dragon is losing his boldness.” The red-haired man said coldly.
The blond man sighed and said, “Big brother, you still can’t put it down? In fact, father has been very sorry for treating you so badly for so many years.”
The red-haired man said dully, “It has nothing to do with me about what he thinks.”
“Big brother, father missed you very much, for eighty thousand years, you have never gone to see him.” The blond man said bitterly.
Cang Qian noticed that the red-haired man’s face suddenly became very twisted.

“He missed me? Will he miss me? Who was it that drove me out of the dragon race like a piece of trash? Who was the one who told me never to return to the dragon race again? Now he says he missed me? What a joke!” the red-haired man said disapprovingly.
“So you were thrown out?” Cang Qian could not help asking.
The red-haired man looked at Cang Qian fiercely and said, “If you don’t want to turn into a mouthful of food, then shut up.”
Cang Qian, “…”
“Young brother, anything else? You can go if there’s nothing else.” The red-haired man said coldly.
“Big brother…” The blond man looked at him, wanted to say something but finally still couldn’t open his mouth.
The red-haired man looked at him and said impatiently, “What? Just shoot!”
“Big brother, you are coming of age. Father asks if you need a female dragon.” The blond man blushed.
The red-haired man said in disgust, “Let him keep them for himself. Isn’t he’s afraid that I’ll disgrace him by producing some red dragons?”
The blond man frowned, “Big brother, over these years, father has really regretted it.”
“Whether he regrets it or not has nothing to do with me.” The red-haired man said emphatically.
The blond man sighed and said, “Do you really have to do this?”
“If you want to stay and have some roast meat with me, you’re welcomed. Bug if you want to stay and talk to me about that old silly dragon, I’m not sure whether I’ll be able to control myself not to beat you.” The red-haired man looked up and said sullenly.
The blond Man. “…”
Cang Qian’s eyes turned around between those two.
“Any meat to eat?” The blond man asked with a shrug.
The red-haired man took a look at Cang Qian and said, “Give it to him.”
Cang Qian blinked his eyes, saying while blushing, “Only a burnt one.”
“It’s OK, he’s not picky about food.” Said the red-haired man.
Cang Qian picked out a bird that was not too burnt and handed it to the red-haired man.

Long Shadow
No destiny, no choice, no hope. Our protagonist, a coward summoned to a world meant for heroes; a new world with new rules and old cruelties. Join him on his adventures as he must deal with menus, monsters, and mysteries in this litrpg fantasy. Thomas Goodwill was an average boy with an average life, all that changed when he woke up in a new reality. Now, out of his depth, damn near out of his mind, he must learn to survive in a game-like reality with no reloads, checkpoints, or save scumming. He does, however, have a drunk snake. Thank you for reading my first story, hopefully, the first of many to come. This will be my main story and is meant to help me practice and hone my skills as I slowly produce more complex ideas. It's a litrpg in which I want to only lightly focus on the mechanics as I don’t want to pad out the word count with math and number tables and while I want to add a few of my own twists here and there, overall I’m going to keep this story close to generic as possible so that I don't let my inexperience lead me into a corner. Thanks again to all willing to leave a review or some constructive criticism, without you I'd never improve. Unfortunately, Cover art is by me.

My Failed Reincarnation as a Demon’s Prisoner
When Kayn opened his eyes in the empty void, he was met with a familiar voice and the knowledge that he was neither dead nor alive and about to be reincarnated. What he didn't expect was to reappear in the world of the living and immediately get captured by a clan of demons, now living as their prisoner. After a lucky encounter, Kayn stumbles upon a room that could possibly give him what he needs to free himself from their captivity. But, as he soon finds out, escaping from the demon queen herself isn't the easiest of tasks... **DISCLAIMER**This story attempts to be quite comedic (I don't know if I'm doing a great job at it) and will be more comedy heavy at the start than later on. As the situations Kayn finds himself in become more grave, the story will become serious and less comedy oriented. There will always be comedy throughout, but at some point I do plan on shifting the focus. I'd love to hear everyones opinion on whether the comedy should be kept in full, or dialed back a little so the plot can take centre stage more often. Happy reading!

Sanguine
The Coles are probably the definition of a small dysfunctional family, even if they weren’t the worst in existence; they would probably be lauded as an example of the term. The Coles were a small family though. The father, Oliver Cole, was an asshole ex-football jock who bounced around in small paying jobs after wasting most of his life drinking, drugging and whoring. The daughter, Stacy Cole, was smart, but had many issues including anger, trouble with authority, and occasional suicidal thoughts, and was kicked out of many a school for disruptive behaviour. The son, Mike Cole, was innocent, and tried his best to be kind to anyone and everyone, however his own speech impediment, and slow nature only aided people to bully and belittle him, including his own father. The Coles were indeed a dysfunctional family. At least they were, until they got to the small town near the border between the United States and Canada, Sanguine. Welcome to Sanguine. You will stay. With the exception of the first chapter, each chapter only follows one character. The first chapter is the only chapter in which I will include 'Sides' where it follows a different character. This is a short Lovecraftian story, it won't go above seventeen chapters. Note: the book cover is my first attempt, it might not even remain like it is, I was just tired of seeing the standard 'no cover' thing on it.
