"Where did you hear that?" Brian asked, surprised that so little was known about it

"I know from Diana. She told me that she will continue her studies abroad and Elise will come with her. At first I did not believe, how could Elise leave you and Dean here. Then, she said that you will divorce elise. I dont believe and laugh it off. But with a serious face Diana told me to ask you. So, are you going to divorce Elise? " Fredy looks at Brian seriously.

He knows that Elena is currently staying at Brian's mansion. But he doesn't know about Brian and Elise's divorce. Fredy is too busy with the job Brian gave him when the man looked after Elena at the hospital. Until he forgot to ask how Elena could live in the mansion. Won't Elise be against that. So, after Brian returned to work, fredy had some free time to relax. And he met Diana at the restaurant where he had lunch. And the woman said Brian and Elise were going to divorce with serious faces. So, fredy hurriedly ran to Brian's office to confirm the statement. Is it real or just a joke of Diana?

"Yes, Elise and I are going to divorce. Our divorce files are already being processed in court." Hearing Brian's answer made Fredy speechless. He didn't know whether to be happy or sad about that fact. Should he be happy that Brian has chosen to let Elise go and pursue his happiness? Or sad because Brian divorced Elise, a good woman who will soon become a widow.

"How come? Doesn't Elise really love you. How could she divorce you?" Asked Fredy curiously. he remembers how much Elise loved Brian. And how that woman depends on his best friend.

"It's because of Mommy's last will that asked Elise to divorce me." Brian explained.

"And Elise agrees?"

"Yes, she agreed and now she wants to fulfill her promise to Mommy by suing for divorce." Brian took a deep breath and his expression turned worried.

"Actually I'm still hesitant to agree with Elise's wish to divorce her. I'm afraid Elise will experience her trauma and make her hurt again. The thing I'm afraid of is our divorce makes her trauma worse." Fredy was silent listening to Brian's words.

"But she insisted that she was fine. And said that the divorce was the best for all of us."

"That's right, and I don't want to continue to lie to Elise by saying that I still love her, when my heart is already filled with Elena. But I'm still worried, she said she will start a new life abroad. But can she survive if her trauma is relapsing."

If she is determined to live a new life abroad, then you must support her. I sure she needs time to forget her love for you. " Said Fredy to convince Brian.

"Then what about Elena? Until when will she be left in the mansion?" Fredy asked when he remembered Elena who currently lives in Brian's mansion.

"Of course, I will marry her."

"But doesn't she already have a boyfriend?" Fredy asked confusedly.

"That bastard is married to another woman." Brian is upset when he remembers Diego who impregnated another woman, betrayed and hurt Elena. But on the one hand he was also relieved, with that one tough rival disappeared.

"So, you will soon marry Elena after divorcing Elise?" Asked Fredy.

"No, elena still doesn't agree to marry me. She said we still need time and she's not ready to marry me."

"Yes, Elena is right. You are a very jerk if you marry Elena immediately after divorcing Elise. At least hold back a little of your desire to respect Elise who has been with you for six years." Brian was silent for a moment to hear Fredy's words.

"Yes, if i think about it again, Elena's decision was right." Brian nodded in agreement, he remembered Elena's words who did not want to hurt Elise's feelings if they got married right after their divorce.

They both fell silent until finally Brian remembered the cooperation documents that were still being worked on by Fredy.

"Where is the file I asked you to view and revise?" Brian's question made Fredy nervous and surprised. Because the man hasn't finished it yet, even though the files are needed for tonight's meeting.

Fredy's silence upset Brian. "You haven't finished it and are instead busy taking care of my household matters?" ask Brian.

Fredy just scratched the back of his head and smiled silly at Brian.

"He he he, I'll finish it soon." Fredy say.

"Then why are you still sitting here? Get back to work, I want that file on my desk in an hour." Said Brian expelling his friend. Brian still has a lot of work to do.

"What ?! One hour? How could it be ....." Fredy has not finished saying, Brian has cut and spoke.

"You're wasting your time if you protest this time. So, get back to work." After that Brian stopped looking at Fredy again and turned to stare at his computer screen, continuing his work.

Fredy saw Brian, who could no longer be spoken to, snorted softly and stood up. he had to get back to work before Brian got mad at him. The fate of a subordinate, even though Brian is his best friend, when it comes to the man's job, he doesn't hesitate to scold Fredy.
