"Elise, I want to hug you." Said Rena which made Elise freeze for a moment. The young woman looked at Rena searchingly and finally moved to hug Rena who was still lying very carefully. A hug that felt very warm, even warmed Elise's heart which had always been cold. They hugged and fell silent together. As if she wanted to remember the warm moment that happened for the first and last time between the two of them.

"Forgive me for not being able to keep my promise to give you attention and love as your adoptive mother." Rena's hand gently rubbed Elise's back. Rena's words made Elise let go of her embrace and looked at Rena carefully.

"What did Mommy say? With Mommy helping and risking her life to save me, that is big enough to prove how much Mommy loves me. I can't even repay Mommy's actions and can only grant Mommy's last wish." said Elise with tears in her eyes. It would be a lie if she said she was not afraid of the decisions she had made. It would be a lie if Elise said she could suppress the trauma and survive without Brian by her side. "And thank you for granting my last wish, Elise." Rena tightened her grip on Elise's hand.

Then she looked up at the roof of the room and imagined Dean's fat and handsome face. Dan remembered her promise at Sean's grave that said she would come back with Dean.

"Looks like I can't fulfill my promise to the late Sean. But I can meet and look after him in heaven later. I will definitely miss Dean. And I wish him all the best." Rena ended her words with a big smile on her face. Then she closed her eyes.

The silence is broken by a sharp, shrill electrocardiograph (EKG) sound. Brian and Elise unconsciously looked at the electrocardiograph monitor, which now showed a straight line. Which means there is no more heart rate detected by the tool. Brian and Elise glanced at each other for a second and immediately turned to quickly stare at Rena.

"Mom!" Brian shouted along with the action that shook the middle-aged woman's body. Elise who was beside him was crying loudly.

"Mommy!" Called Elise between sobs. She never imagined that the middle-aged woman who had been shopping and chatting seriously with her a few hours ago was now gone. Rena died so quickly and they never expected.

Instantly the doctor and nurse entered the room. And forced Brian to step away for a moment to check on Rena's condition.
