"What's wrong?" Elena asked. However, diego didn't answer at all. Instead, the man prostrated on one leg and faced Elena. The rose that he had been hiding was confronted in front of Elena.

 "Darling?" Elena is still confused about Diego's action.

 "Elena, will you marry me?" Diego asked tightly locking Elena's gaze. The man's heartbeat was racing very fast. Although previously Elena said she would continue their wedding plans, Diego still has anxious and worries. He was afraid that Elena would change her mind and reject his proposal.

 "Sorry darling, I ...." Elena was silent for a moment. As if she had a hard time telling what was on her mind.

 And Elena's words made diego very scared. Sorry? Maybe Elena would reject it. Plus how Elena's face looks reluctant to say the next sentence makes Diego very worried.

 A few seconds of staring at Diego's scared and worried face made Elena smile. Actually, she wanted so badly to turn down Diego's proposal but she couldn't possibly disappoint him. Plus, Diego is all Elena has in this world. He is a kind man, understanding and very fond of her. Elena knows Diego will be a very good husband and every other single woman's dream. Love, Elena has convinced herself that she forgets her feelings for Brian and is happy with Diego.

 "Sorry darling, I of course accept you. No matter what happens, you can only be my husband." Said Elena with a big smile and took the red rose from Diego's grasp.

 Diego finally breathed a sigh of relief. And he stood up and immediately jumped up and down with joy like a child who had just bought his dream toy.

 Diego stopped his Uforia and pulled Elena's waist closer and kissed her forehead saying, "Thank you, Elena."

 After Diego kissed him, Elena immediately hit the man in the chest in annoyance.

 "Why did you propose and ask again, didn't I already say that I want to continue our wedding plans again."

 Diego just laughed with his silly look. "I just need to make sure you don't change your mind. Because I've decided to marry you in two weeks."

 "What?!" Elena shouted in shock.

 "I don't want to procrastinate any longer. I'm afraid you might change your mind or fall in love with another man. So I've decided we'll marry in two week. What do you think?"

 "Two weeks from now. Isn't that to faster?" Somehow an inexplicable taste arose in Elena's heart.

 "No. Even if I could I want to marry you tomorrow. But that's impossible, we still have to prepare everything. And I think two weeks is enough to take care of the needs related to our marriage."

 "And Elena, sorry if I can't give you a luxurious and festive wedding. I can only give a simple wedding." Diego's hand rubbed Elena's smooth cheek. HeHis eyes glowed with guilt and hurt.  "It's okay. I don't need a lavish and festive wedding, as long as our friends and close relatives are attending. That's enough for me." Elena answered, rubbing Diego's shoulder. Convince the man that she is okay with a simple marriage.

 Diego smiled and gripped Elena's palm tightly. "Let us go home."

 This morning Elise woke up earlier, she decided to be much more considerate and make Rena like her. She wanted the middle-aged woman to accept and forget her desire to force Brian to divorce Elise.

 So, this morning Elise made a special breakfast. She was just putting the sandwich slices on the table when Brian came into the dining room.

 "Elise, what are you doing?"

 "Make breakfast."

 "Aunty Yanti can prepare it. You better just rest in the room."

 "Yes, that's what I like the most about you." After that Elise kissed Brian's right cheek. The man smiled at the excited Elise, since last night Brian was afraid that yesterday's incident would burden Elise's mind, but fortunately it was just all sheer fear. But even though Elise was now excited again, Brian couldn't let his guard down. He too had to find a solution to this problem. He didn't want to hurt either of the two most important women in his life.

 Not long after, Rena came to the dining room. She glanced at Elise before taking her seat. Meanwhile, Elise, who was staring at her, immediately looked down and didn't know what to do. Previously, Elise had suggested herself to persuade and melt Rena's heart, so that she would forget her desire to separate Elise and Brian. But when Elise met rena in person, she lost her courage and enthusiasm earlier. She is afraid that she will make rena even more angry and force Brian to divorce her as soon as possible.

 She knows about Elise's trauma and maybe what Brian said yesterday could come true if she continues to force Brian to divorce Elise. The woman can go crazy or commit suicide. But, Rena couldn't let things be like this.
