Valerie is once again surprised by seeing the Water Pulse getting past through the forcefield, the reason behind this is because the Water Pulse was powered up by Clawitzer's ability Mega Launcher.

This ability allows Clawitzer to power up moves that are aura or pulse, so Water Pulse was twice as strong as a normal one and with Clawitzer's power it was even more devastating, the forcefield didn't stand a chance.

Sylveon got hit and was sent rolling through the ground but it quickly stabilized itself by using its legs and getting back to its feet, its body is covered with scratches and dust after all the rolling on the ground, it gritted its teeth and glared at Clawitzer.

It didn't expect to lose a confrontation so early in the battle, it realized that it has to be more careful from now on, the last Water Pulse might have made it past through the Protect but it did lose its power after tearing through it.

Valerie "Use Psyshock"

Valerie also realized keeping a little further distance from Clawitzer and attack with special attacks and also be on the move.

Sylveon blasted a bolt of pinkish-purple lightning towards Clawitzer and moved from its spot, it didn't want to stay in one place and be open to an attack from Clawitzer.

Julian "Use Protect and then Water Pulse again"

Clawitzer quickly put up a forcefield in front of him and turned locked onto Sylveon, the Psyshock hit the Protect and disappeared while Clawitzer continued to maintain his forcefield, he didn't attack yet as Sylveon is moving faster and faster and making it very hard for Clawitzer to find its movement pattern.

Valerie felt that she has the upper hand now and she wants to keep it that way.

Valerie "Use Clam Mind and then Psyshock"

Valerie called for another Psyshock, she wanted to break that forcefield before she can come up with another way to counter Clawitzer and the Clam Mind would help a lot, Clam Mind would rise its special attack or special defense.

Sylveon while running used Clam Mind and powered up before shooting another bolt of Psyshock, the Psyshock is much more powerful than before, the Psyshock landed on the forcefield and shattered it, and disappeared exposing Clawitzer.

Valerie "Use Psyshock again"

Seeing the forcefield go down, she knew it was her chance and she took it, Sylveon blasted another Psyshock right at Clawitzer.

Julian "Counter it"

Julian commanded, Clawitzer stopped focusing on Sylveon and aimed at the incoming Psyshock and shot the Water Pulse at it, the two moves collided creating a powerful shockwave.

They continued to exchange attacks after attacks, Valerie continued with the use of Calm Mind and Psyshock, every passing second Sylveon was getting stronger and it soon reached its limit.

Sylveon now could go toe to toe with Clawitzer when it came to exchanging special attacks, Julian never tried to stop Valerie from powering up as he has something else in his mind.

Seeing that her Sylveon has become stronger, Valerie became a little comfortable, the battle has already been dragged on for quite a long time and her mental state is being affected and she doesn't realize it, a long battle can be very tiring and this worked in Julian's favor.

With her guard a little down, she started to get aggressive with her attacks, her Sylveon started to take risks but Julian didn't exploit them at all, he battled defensive, he wanted to bring in his opponent's pokemon a little closer to his Clawitzer.

Even her Sylveon started to get very confident as anyone could tell that Sylveon was clearly the dominant pokemon on the battlefield while Clawitzer just stood on its spot not moving and only blocking and countering.

Valerie "Let's get this over with, use Magical Leaf"

Valerie called for another move, she wanted to end this as she felt that Clawitzer has nowhere to run, what she didn't notice is that her Sylveon has gotten too comfortable on the battlefield, it got very close to Clawitzer and used Magical Leaf to deal damage faster and with more impact.

This was what Julian was waiting for, as soon as he felt that Sylveon was in Clawitzer's range, he made his move.

Julian "Crab Hammer"

As soon as Julian gave to command, Clawitzer bolted towards Sylveon, he tore through the Magical Leaf as if it was nothing, the glowing leaves were shredded into pieces, Sylveon was caught off guard by this and it tried to escape but it was too late, the massive glowing claw of Clawitzer smashed into Sylveon's body and sent it rolling on the ground.

All that Clam Mind was useless as it never improved its physical defense, Julian never planned to end this battle with a Special Attack, he forced Valerie and Sylveon into false security, making them think that rising their special defense and attack will benefit them, but it was all for nothing.

Sylveon continued to roll on the ground and was having a hard time stopping itself.

Julian "Vice Grip"

Clawitzer once again bolted after the rolling Sylveon, Sylveon came to a stop and tried to get back to its feet, it struggled to do so as that blow was too much for its slender and light body, but it found some strength and was able to stand on all fours but before it could even collect its thoughts.

It saw a massive blue claw snapping down on it.

Valerie "Quick, dodge"

Valerie commanded but it was useless, Clawitzer was already in front of Sylveon, he got it trapped right between his massive claw and he started to squeeze.

Sylveon tried to get free but it was useless, it was as if it was stuck under a heavy boulder, soon the last bit of its energy was drained as the Vice Grip tightened, once Sylveon fainted Clawitzer released it and put it back on the ground.

Referee "Sylveon is unable to battle, Clawitzer wins. Hence the winner of this battle is the challenger"

The referee called out the result and declared Julian as the victor.
