As both attacks collided it created quite a powerful shockwave, the Water Pulse shaped like a bullet splashed everywhere while the leaves were torn to pieces by the pressure.

They didn't stop their attack as Floette once again went on the offensive and this time used Vine Whip, five vine whips shot out from her flower and headed towards Clauncher in random unpredictable directions.

Having no way to dodge every Vine Whip coming towards him Clauncher used Icy Wind, he blew cold air towards the incoming whips and froze them in mid-air, the whips cracked and shattered into pieces.

Clauncher then shot multiple Water Pulse continuously at Floette, Floette moved around dodging those Water Pulse and retaliated with Magical Leaf and Clauncher countered with Icy Wind.

This barrage of attacks continued, they kept countering and dodging each other's attacks, this went on for quite a while and nobody got the upper hand, getting close was not an option as the other party can take advantage of this and start a combo which can be very bad and neither Floette nor Clauncher want to risk it.

But after some time both of them were forced to take action. If this continues both of them will be completely exhausted and end up in a draw, Floette decided to charge at Clauncher as she clearly has the better mobility out of the two.

Floette dashed towards Clauncher by faking another Vine Whip, Clauncher saw the incoming Vine Whip and used Icy Wind to freeze and shatter them but he also noticed Floette charging towards him at the same time.

He decided to take this opportunity and used Ice Beam, a sizzling cold beam of light shot towards Floette at extreme speed, Floette was of course expecting this and suddenly used Petal Blizzard around herself.

She got surrounded by very fast-moving leaves covered with grass energy, as she moved along with it, it imitated a Giga Impact but with Petal Blizzard, as the Ice Beam got close to her, she moved to the side so that it comes in contact with the edge of the spinning Petal Blizzard.

As she continued to spin and move forward, the Ice Beam hit the petals and froze them on the spot but the Ice Beam was also deflected to the sides leaving Floette completely unscathed, she then instantly reduced the distance between her and Clauncher and crashed into him with the Petal Blizzard.

A massive explosion took place as petals dispersed up in the air surrounding the whole area and Clauncher was sent rolling through the ground, he then crashed against a tree and came to a sudden stop.

That attack was unique and Julian was happy to see Floette come up with its own variation of Petal Blizzard, as the move was completely unexpected Clauncher got caught and that is all that Floette needs.

Unlike other pokemons that they battle, Julian's pokemons will never stop attacking because doing so will only put them at a disadvantage and the risk of getting hit is high from retaliation.

Floette shot multiple Vine Whips at Clauncher as soon as he made contact with the tree, the Vine Whips finally were able to do their job, some of them wrapped around Clauncher instantly and the remaining ones started to whip him continuously.

Being held in a very tight grip Clauncher had no were to escape, his main weapon, his massive claw was disabled as it got pressed to his body by a whip that has tied him up tightly.

He tried to struggle with brute strength but it was of no use, with his whole body up in the air, he couldn't exert any force enough to get out of these Vine Whips, his body started to get covered in scratches as the other whips continued to whip him.

Having no way to escape, Clauncher suddenly felt defeated and was about to give up when he suddenly thought of something, he suddenly used Protect in contact with his body and suddenly expanded it around him.

The Vine Whips that was around his body tightly binding him suddenly got stretched due to the expanding forcefield, they got stretched to the limit and were ripped apart, the other Vine Whips couldn't get through the forcefield either and Clauncher suddenly fell to the ground as nothing is holding him up in the air.

Floette was surprised to see Clauncher escaping her grasp but she didn't stop her attack, she used Magical Leaf as soon as Clauncher escaped her grasp, as Clauncher was falling down with a forcefield around him the Magical Lead made contact and destroyed the forcefield causing Clauncher to land on the ground unprotected.

Clauncher bounced once and was about to stabilize again but Floette attacked again, this time she used Petal Blizzard again and sent to tornado made of petals and grass energy hurdling towards Clauncher.

Clauncher in the state of bounce saw the incoming attack and opened his claw wide open locking onto the Petal Blizzard in an instant and used Scald.

A jet to steaming hot water shot out of his claw and pierced the tornado and hit Floette through it, Floette was caught and she didn't expect it at all, Clauncher attacked from a very weird position, it was because of the sniping training that he went through along with Skrelp that he was able to pinpoint Floette's position behind the Petal Blizzard and hit her.

Both pokemon crashed on the ground, first Clauncher and then Floette.
