Journey Towards Greatness Chapter 1006

Diantha didn't make their wait outside and called them inside her room, once they were inside Ash and his friends were finally able to see Diantha's Gardevoir, they were in awe as to how beautiful it really looked in real life.
Professor Sycamore continued his talk with Diantha and asked her if she could give him her Key-Stone, Sycamore believed there is more to Key Stones than one gives it credit.
He believes that Key-Stone plays a more important role than a Mega Stone, without the Key-Stone Pokemons don't seem to have any control, and the pokemons that were forcefully Mega Evolved without the help of Key-Stones were fully out of control with no rational thinking, the Mega Evolved pokemons were so barbaric in nature that they even took a bite out of their own flesh.
Mega Evolving pokemons is possible without a Key-Stone but the outcome has always been a complete failure, pokemons get very barbaric in nature and can kill anything on sight.
The pokemons that do evolve with the help of Keystones are less violent in nature, the only Mega Pokemons that were fully under control were the ones that were very close to their trainers.
Sycamore believed that Key-Stones somehow help the pokemons able to control the massive energy that is inserted into their body and with help of good trainers, it amplifies the effect.
But he was not sure, he wondered if the Key-Stones that these trainers have might be different from the ones he has seen before.
That is why he wants to study Diantha's Key-Stone, she has shown to have an exceptional bond with her Gardevoir, greater than any other trainer.
Diantha "I would like to help Professor Sycamore in your research but I can never part with my Key-Stone, this stone is the symbol of the bond between me and my Gardevoir, I cannot hand it over no matter the situation"

Sycamore "I understand, but is there any way you could compromise?"
He asked.
Diantha "No I cannot, but maybe when I visit Lumiose city, I can give you a visit and we can discuss there"
She said.
Sycamore "That works as well"
Sycamore said and he was quite happy, if Diantha cannot give her Key-Stone to him, he can at least study it in Diantha's presence.
"No can't do, Miss Diantha, your schedule is very busy, we don't have time to visit Professor Sycamore's lab"
Her assistant suddenly reminded Diantha that she is not free, hearing this Sycamore lost hope again.
Diantha "Oh! It looks like I cannot help you Professor Sycamore"
She said in an apologetic voice.
Sycamore "Well we can't do anything about it"
He said and gave up.
Diantha "Well I have to get ready for my battle, I hope all of you stay behind and have a look at it, I will be leaving then"
Diantha said and left with her assistant before nodding at Julian one last time.
Since the group had nothing else to do, they made their way to the stadium as well to watch Diantha battle the trainer called Magnus.
Julian brought the group to the VIP lounge as he felt it would be rude of him to separate with them and enjoy the battle in the VIP lounge and then get back together with the group after the battle ends.
Ash and his friends were shocked as they entered the VIP lounge, they didn't expect a massive room decorated beautifully inside the stadium, since they have never been in one of these luxury lounges so it is a new experience for them.
The group quickly found themselves a place to sit as the battle is about to start, Julian also sat down and watched as the trainers entered the battlefield while the crowd cheered loudly.

The first trainer to enter was Magnus, a tall young man with quite a well-built frame, he wore an orange jacket, a dark blue t-shirt under it, blue pants, and black boots.
As soon as he entered the crowd started to cheer louder, it was expected as he is from this town and many people in this town admire him and young trainers want to be like him.
Once he entered the battlefield and took his position, it was time for Diantha to enter as well, even before she entered the battlefield, the crowd was already getting wild and restless.
As soon as they saw the silhouette of Diantha they started to scream out of their lungs and welcomed her, as Diantha entered their vision they went crazy.
Julian for once was surprised, these people were even crazier compared to the ones when he entered a battlefield before, he knew Diantha is one of the most famous champions but this was crazy, but he expected nothing less, she is not only a champion of a region but a world-famous actress.
She has more fans than Julian all over the world, she might just be the most famous champion of them all.
Yes pokemon battles are very popular but movies are even more popular, this is the only field where Diantha outshined him, Julian knew how crazy his own fans are, he wondered what would happen if he had an even bigger fan base just like Diantha.
The crowd didn't quiet down out all, the echoes of Diantha's name rang all across the battlefield and all over the town.
