Professor Sycamore guided Julian and the rest to the underground facility of the lab where most of the lab experiments seem to be being held, the group soon arrived in front of a big metal door.

Professor Sycamore used his keycard and scanned it against the card reader which opened up a biometric scanner, he then placed his palm on it which caused the door to open. ​​

As soon as the door opened, all of them entered, Julian looked around the room and noticed a lot of high-tech equipment around the room, they were just like the ones he saw in Professor Oak's Lab. Since Professor Oak is rich he just has a little more compared to Professor Sycamore, Professor Sycamore is funded by the league while Professor Oak gets a lot of money has he has a big share in Julian's company and he also gets massive funding from the league as well.

Professor Sycamore's assistants soon entered the room, Julian turned around and looked at them, one of them is a tall woman with blue hair, green eyes, wearing glasses and a lab coat, Julian had seen her before in front of the lab when she was cleaning away the rubbles.

The other assistant is a short girl with short magenta-colored hair, when they entered the room they saw the man in a red jacket and this time he was not wearing his mask so they easily recognized him, they were shocked and taken back.

They didn't expect the man in the red jacket to be Julian.

Sycamore "They are my assistants, Sophie and Cosette"

He introduced both of them, the assistant with blue hair and glasses is Sophie while the one with magenta-colored short hair is Cosette.

Julian smiled and greeted them with a smile head nod and they did the same out of reflex as they were still overwhelmed by his presence, without his mask they were finally able to look at him up close and they couldn't take their eyes off him as he was really handsome.

They knew he is handsome as they have seen him on tv many times but his presence was very different in real life.

Sycamore "Sophie, Cosette, help me with the Porygons"

Sycamore told them and headed towards a closed capsule, Sophie and Cosette walked towards the closest computers and started to check on the vitality displayed on the monitors.

Sophie "Professor, everything is normal, there should be no risk"

Sophie said as she didn't find anything wrong with the data on the monitor, since Porygon is a pokemon that is completed made from 0s and 1s, its condition can be only checked through a monitor, like other pokemons, it doesn't need to eat or breathe.

Sycamore "Since nothing is wrong, let's take it out"

Sycamore said and opened up the closer capsule which contained a Pokeball inside, this Pokeball looked like any normal Pokeball but it had a line of golden color going around it.

Sycamore picked up the Pokeball and released the pokemon from inside, a bright light flashed and a pokemon soon entered everyone's sight, it was a very weird-shaped pokemon.

Its whole body had sharp edges from head to tail, its legs looked like irregular pentagons, Julian looked at this weirdly shaped pokemon with curiosity, he couldn't figure out anything about this pokemon as it is a man-made one, he needs to study it properly and figure it out.

He approached the Porygon who just sat there without doing anything, it looked lifeless like a toy, this pokemon reminded Julian of Yesh, he was just like this Pokemon, lifeless for some reason but unlike Porygon he still had a goal.

This pokemon in front of him just felt like a completely empty shell that would do anything on command.

Julian didn't know how to feel about it, he wondered if this pokemon is even a living being in the first place, the only thing that made it look even a little lifelike is because of its eyes, the black pupil inside its eyes followed Julian as he walked towards it.

Julian picked up the Porygon and looked at it carefully, this felt new to him as this was different from any pokemon he has ever seen or been in contact with, he couldn't read its mind as it's just 0s and 1s, it listens to commands and just does things.

Julian didn't know how he will tackle this new challenge that has been thrown at him but he is excited and he also had a cheat to deal with this challenge.

Sycamore "This Porygon is Porygon Zero, he is the prototype version, the real one will be kept under the pokemon science and research department"

Julian "I understand"

Julian said and nodded.

Sycamore "I don't know if you will be able to really train Porygon but if you can't, you can return it back"

Julian "I like challenges, this will be an interesting one"

Julian said and stared right into Porygon's eyes, those cold weird-shaped eyes looked weird, just like a toy.

Sycamore "Okay then, here is its Pokeball"

He said and passed the special Pokeball to Julian, looked at the Pokeball, he could tell that it was different from ordinary Pokeball.

Julian "Is this Pokeball Special?"

Julian asked as he was curious about this weird pokemon, he wanted to know more.
