Julian's Darmanitan has now sacrificed some of his power to take down another one of Yesh's pokemon, with this three of Yesh's pokemon are down.
By now no one believes that Yesh is going to win this battle but they are still excited about how everything is going to unfold, they wondered if Yesh will get any closer to taking out Julian's pokemon, till now no one has done it.
Glen came very close but not close enough, they wondered if Yesh can do it.
Yesh looked at his fallen Bisharp and wondered what his next pokemon should be, he knew that Julian's Darmanitan is now weaker than ever, he lost most of his firepower, he is still dangerous but not as much as before due to that Overheat he sued.
As Yesh was wondering which pokemon to send out next to take out Darmanitan but to his surprise, he saw Julian sending Darmanitan back to his Pokeball.
Julian looked at Yesh and smiled while doing so.
Julian "You see, Darmanitan is exhausted, he needs a little rest!"
Julian said with a smile on his face, he really wasn't going easy on Yesh at all, he could do this with every pokemon, make them win one round, and switch, with this he could have a completely clean sweep.
Yesh felt frustrated as he saw this, Julian's Darmanitan was close to getting knocked out but now Julian decided to switch, to others it seemed fine but to Yesh, it didn't feel like a fair game at all.
He felt like he was getting bullied by his own teacher in front of hundreds and thousands of people, he didn't like this feeling at all, he felt anger and frustration but he decided to stay calm for now.
Giving in to anger and frustration lost him a pokemon previously so he needs to focus.

Julian "Don't worry, I will send another pokemon, you can wait"
Julian said and took out another Pokeball and sent out his next pokemon to the battlefield, as he threw the Pokeball into the battlefield, it opened and flames spewed out of the Pokeball and Volcarona emerged out of it.
Small flakes burning fell down from his wings as he slowly shook them, Yesh looked at Julian's choice and sent out his next pokemon as well, Barbaracle, a rock/water type.
Yesh's whole team seems till now seems to be based on pokemons that have some kind of advantage over Julian's pokemon, now he has another pokemon that has an advantage over Volcarona, not just one but two, Volcarona is weak to water and four times weak to rock.
With Barbaracle's arsenal of attacks filled with these types of attacks, it can easily impact Volcarona in a bad way.
Julian "Volcarona, use Sunny Day"
Volcarona started the battle by setting up a Sunny Day, he shot a ball of energy up in the sky which then started to act like a second sun making the sky even brighter, under the bright sky, Volcarona's wings glowed even brighter.
Yesh just watched and made observations, he needed to stay calm and figure out a way to deal damage and try to find a way to counter Volcarona's offense.
Julian "Now, Solar Beam"
With Sunny Day activated, the Solar Beam didn't take much time to charge up, Volcarona shot a very powerful Solar Beam at Barbaracle, while Volcarona does have a four times weakness to rock type, Barbaracle also has a four-time weakness to grass type moves as well, getting hit by this will be fatal.
Yesh "Dodge"
Barbaracle jumped to the side and avoided the Solar Beam, the Solar Beam landed on the ground and suddenly started to melt through the ground leaving a deep hole behind.

Yesh just watched and stayed calm, he needed to figure out a way to counter, for now, he decided to just watch and dodge.
Julian continued with his attacks and Volcarona kept blasting Solar Beams at Barbaracle but Barbaracle kept dodging them, the battleground was then soon covered with lots of holes left behind by the Solar Beam.
Yesh waited for his chance and when he saw it, he made his move, he made his Barbaracle move around in a certain pattern for a while making sure that his movement becomes predictable, once he felt like Volcarona was able to predict his Barbaracle's movement.
Yesh decided to make his move.
Yesh "Now, use Rock Slide"
Barbaracle suddenly changed his movement completely causing Volcarona who was caught in momentum to turn in a completely different direction and lost sight of Barbaracle for a second but it was enough for Barbaracle to take advantage of this.
It created multiple rocks and brought them down on Volcarona, neither Julian nor Volcarona expected this, the rocks came crashing down on Volcarona and took him to the ground burring him under them.
The crowd cheered loudly as they saw Yesh finally getting the upper hand, they wondered if it was enough to take out Volcarona.
Yesh 'Is it over?'
Yesh wondered as well, Volcaronas are known not to have that great of a physical defense so an attack like Rock Slide should deal a lot of damage, and with Volcarona's four-time weakness this might just be a one-hit KO.
Julian "It's not over yet, Volcarona, burn through it"
With Julian's command, flames burst out of the gaps between the rocks, Volcarona then burst out of the rocks as they went flying everywhere, Volcarona spread his wings wide open as the flame around him burned brightly.
Everyone could also tell he is badly hurt but he still seems to be filled with energy.

Mystic Nan
Note: Currently undergoing rewrite, we'll be back soon!(If you enjoy this story, it would help immensely if you considered voting for it at topwebfiction, thank you.) Nan Beauchamp, like many youths of the year 2000-something; will live, work, and die as less than a footnote of a footnote within the abridged history of unremarkable years. This suits her fine. Too bad about the truck that turned her into paste, then. Luckily, or unluckily, fate deigned to give the poor girl another chance to make something of herself in a bizarre universe brimming with magic, spaceships, and... giant talking spiders? This "second chance" seems less than ideal. (A web serial import from Wordpress)

Re-Ordaining of the Chosen
Alea cheerfully hummed as she descended the steps, brimming in upbeat while her colleague, Quarren Leos, shot her a look of skepticism. “So… were you right about him?” he asked doubtfully. She came to a stop for a moment, her humming falling silent before she shook her head, waving her medium length light-blonde hair from side to side. “I was wrong about him.” Quarren raised an eyebrow in confusion at the convoluted response.“But you seem quite happy?” he asked again. “Because I am. But I was wrong about him. He was… so much more than I ever expected.” Alea looked at the sky overhead with a smile. “That boy… no, that man, is amazing. I firmly believe he will come to stand on top of any adversary he faces. He is destined. He is Chosen.” Quarren snorted as he stepped past, shaking his head. “Okay. Each to their own beliefs but you’re sounding like a nutjob. That skinny twig? Everyone calls him a cripple, you know,” he shook his head.“Rumours are always false, Leos,” Alea answered with a disapproving shake of her head. “You wouldn’t know. He is so, so much more.” “I saw him with my own two eyes. I didn’t see anything redeeming,” Quarren rebutted. “Well…” Alea chuckled. “You haven’t seen what I’ve seen.” In the year 917 of the Imperial Calendar, the Great War had just ended between dozens of nations. Shakespeare's 154 Sonnets (Completed )
Shakespeare's Sonnets is the title of a collection of 154 sonnets by William Shakespeare, which covers themes such as the passage of time, love, beauty and mortality. The first 126 sonnets are addressed to a young man; the last 28 to a woman. The sonnets are almost all constructed from three quatrains, which are four-line stanzas, and a final couplet composed in iambic pentameter. This is also the meter used extensively in Shakespeare's plays. The rhyme scheme is abab cdcd efef gg. Sonnets using this scheme are known as Shakespearean sonnets. Often, the beginning of the third quatrain marks the volta ("turn"), or the line in which the mood of the poem shifts, and the poet expresses a revelation or epiphany.
