The qualifiers finally came to an end and the top eight were ready to face each other inside the grand stadium.
The top eight are Julian, Dhrago, Yesh, Ash, Glen, Karl, Dino, and Virgil, these eight have proven themselves to be the best of the best in this year's Unova league.
Seeing the finalists of this year's Unova league people were not surprised but they are very excited, these are the big hitters, and when they battle everyone knows that it will be a blast.
The league also didn't waste any time announcing the battles that will take place in the quarter-finals of the final rounds.
Julian will be facing Glen.
Ash will be facing Virgil.
Yesh will be facing Karl.
Dhrago will be facing Dino
Seeing the match up people are hyped and people from all over the world are already speculating on who will be the winner of this year's league, majority of them still vote for Julian and the favorite to win the league because people have too much confidence in him and they should have.
He is the only trainer that has proved time and time again that no one can defeat him, he has gone through three regions, participated in three leagues, and won every one of them, and now this is his fourth one and people believe that he will do it again.
There are also others who think otherwise, they think that the reign of Julian will finally come to an end in the hands of one of these trainers who are still going strong like Yesh, Glen, and Karl.
These three are the only trainers who have not lost a single pokemon in a battle up till now just like Julian.
According to the stats on the internet, people believe that Dhrago and Yesh have the highest chance of defeating Julian than any other trainer in the top eight, followed by Glen and Karl, then Ash, then Dino, and Virgil.

But at the end of the day these are just speculations and people know that anything can happen, but people still like to speculate and bet because the money that comes with it is very attractive in amount.
_________________________
There are still two days left before the quarter-finals start and Julian has a lot of time for himself, with all this free time he decided to go and give someone a visit.
He headed out of the hotel and headed towards the pokemon center, when he got there he could see a lot of trainer going in and coming out. Since the pokemons battle so hard they need all the help they can get to be fully recovered.
He entered the pokemon center and started looking for the person he came to meet, he soon found her sitting at the corner with a very concerned look on her face.
Julian 'There she is'
He thought and walked towards her.
Julian "Kelly?"
He asked.
Kelly who was sitting there worried lifted her head and looked at the tall man standing in front of her, at first she was blank as her thoughts were occupied by her pokemons, then she realized that the person standing in front of her is none other than Julian.
She quickly got up and looked at him in surprise.
Kelly "Mr. Julian?"
She asked shocked, she couldn't believe Julian is standing right in front of her.
Kelly "How do you know my name? Oh silly me, you must have seen me battle"
She said and sat down again with sadness written all over her face.
Julian "I did see you battle, you were quite good...."
He said and paused for a second.
Julian "How are your pokemons?"
He asked.
Kelly "All of them are seriously hurt and have a severe concussion, Alakazam has recovered but he is still in pain, Noctowl and Donphan's conditions are a little worse, both of them have skull fractures and it will take more than a month for them to heal completely"

She said.
Julian "I see"
He didn't expect this at all, he knew that they would be hurt, but skull fracture was something he didn't expect, the severity of a skull fracture can be low or very high. But from what Kelly said her pokemons life are not in danger, they will just have to rest a lot and take medicine.
Kelly suddenly started to cry as she felt really bad,
Kelly "I should have stopped and shouldn't have continued, its all my fault that they are hurt"
She started to blame herself.
Julian "No need to blame yourself, I saw you battle, it's your opponent's fault, he could have held back"
He said and comforted her.
Julian stayed with her for a while and decided to leave but Kelly suddenly stopped him
Kelly "Mr. Julian"
Julian "What is it?"
Kelly "Kick his butt"
Julian "I sure will, don't worry"
Kelly "And please be careful"
Julian "You don't need to worry about me, you should pray for Dhrago's well being"
He said and left.
Luckily all of Kelly's pokemon are fine and the skull fractures are not severe, if they were severe, they would have very little chance of surviving.
Julian decided to take very good care of Dhrago, now he really didn't care about Dhrago and where he came from, he just wanted to beat the shit out of him.

A Fool's Journey, or the Vagrancies of a Man in Exotic Lands
What does a sad bastard do when fate, literally, decides to throw him into a fantasy world? Solon just wanted to lead a normal life; work, share some pizza with friends, work, play some videogames or read something, work, maybe sleep?, work... Pretty much the usual, rinse and repeat. It was far from perfect, but life was nicely boring and comfy enough. Truth be told, he had hoped it would go on forever, or until he got married, or until the apocalypse finally decided to bring an end to everything. As far as he could tell, though, the former was about as likely as the latter; not very. And perhaps even somewhat related, if it ever came to it. Unfortunately, he saw himself involved in some sort of cosmic fart that screwed him over, brutally severing his life-plan. Or, maybe, would it be more suitable to say that Fate had other plans? Sure, he's yet to find out exactly what those plans might be, but, at the very least, they do seem to involve him being shoved into another world, fighting off a couple of horrendous creepers, and -almost- an accidental liaison with a baboon. Needless to say, the job doesn't come with dental care, and death seems more likely than retirement... Yep, when he got yoinked out of Earth, there were no princesses waiting for him, no sexy goddesses, and no severe Gandalf-wannabes! Heck, not even a bunch of demonic cultists! All he got for the trouble was a bunch of snarky windows and the honest desire to punch whatever bastard happens to be behind the smug System. Well, that, and a few forced trips to the so-called Tower of Ascension. Not exactly what he would have expected but, on the plus side, he does get to do some magic. Though, not quite the wand-waving kind. Whatever. One thing’s patently clear, though, he’s certainly not the chosen one, nor the summoned hero, nor the Savior. If anything, he himself might be in need of some saving... Just what kind of fool does the System take him for? Please do consider the tags. Also, 'Strong Lead' here means weak to strong, over a decent amount of time, not op from the very beginning. Things to expect: decent grammar, cheeky goats. Things not to expect: Harems, a decent sense of fashion.
