Journey Towards Greatness Chapter 891

Gengar "Of course, why would I lie, I am the most honest pokemon in this world"
Gengar said while rubbing his two palms together.
He promised to help the Heracrosses father if he gets to meet it but of course, you cannot trust Gengar, he only does something if it works out for him or he is forced into a very awkward situation.
"Promise?"
Gengar "Promise! I will make sure I take care of it"
He said with a very shady voice, but of course, the little Heracrosses couldn't see how shady Gengar really was.
"Thank you very much, I will go and inform dad"
One of the Heracross said and left Gengar along with the others to find their dad, Gengar followed right behind them until he followed them to a Heracross nest that was close by, the nest seems to be very close to the center and the place is filled with lots of resources.
Gengar noticed a lot of Heracross walking around, most of them stayed in groups, some of them were sucking down the trees out of their tree saps.
This whole area was filled with only Heracross and they had the whole area to themselves, no wonder the Pinsirs were after this place.
This is quite common, fight over the territory was quite common in these massive jungles, Gengar's presence was clearly noticed by all the Heracross in the area and they didn't like it, a stranger in their territory could be a bad sign.
The reason they didn't attack was that the Gengar is with the king's children, the little Heracross entered their own tree nest to meet their dad.
The tree they entered was quite big, it could fit ten Heracrosses inside it, Gengar waited outside for the little Heracrosses to come back and inform him.

He just stood their awkwardly as he was being stared at by every Heracross in the area, he just looked at them and smiled which caused them to back of a little as they didn't want to bother with this creepy looking stranger.
Gengar also didn't like being stared at by the bugs but he decided to do what he is doing, which is to currently be planted on his current spot.
Luckily for Gengar, he didn't have to wait for too long as the little Heracrosses came out happily.
Gengar "So kids, did you tell your dad about me?"
Gengar asked.
"Oh.....We completely forgot! We were busy slurping sweet syrup"
One of the little Heracross said.
"Wait here, we will be back"
It said and went back into its nest leaving Gengar pissed but he didn't show it on his face, he just looked at the other Heracross and smiled at them while giving them the nod but he didn't get a good reaction from them.
Gengar just stood there in an awkward manner and waited for the kids to come back, this time they didn't forget to mention him to their dad and came back running.
"He said he can meet you"
One of the little Heracross said happily while licking its fingers.
Gengar 'These little shitheads, they would have forgotten about me if they stayed inside even a little longer'
He thought to himself.
Gengar "Let's go in". 'Before these shitheads get distracted again'
He thought after saying it.
The little Heracrosses brought him into their nest to meet their dad.
As Gengar got in he saw two Heracrosses sitting inside, one is a very big male while the other is a big female but still smaller than the male.
Heracross "What do you want?"

The dad asked.
Gengar looked at the Heracross and noticed that this one has been seriously injured, if not taken care of, it might die in a few months, Gengar then looked at the little Heracrosses and felt like shit.
Gengar 'Fucking shit, why the fuck do I have to get emotionally involved with everything thing even though I don't want to'
He thought to himself.
Gengar "I am searching for a Minccinos or Cinccinos, do you know where to find them?"
He asked.
Heracross "You actually dare to come to my territory just to ask me this, you could have just asked some random pokemon in the forest"
The Heracross seems to be a little pissed, well he cannot be blamed, he is in very bad shape and he might lose his territory, his kids' life might be in danger after his death, he knows that he is close to his death.
That last battle with its rival, the Pinsir leader who was defeated but it was able to land very serious injury on Heracross.
Gengar "Ah.....Now that I think about it, I could have done that but I am so used to dealing with strong pokemons that I didn't even mind looking for the weak, well you are not that special either"
Gengar said as he looked at the injured Heracross, in Gengar's eyes, he was mediocre at best, he understands that every pokemon Julian comes across becomes freaks but he lives with these freaks and among them, he is one of the best.
"What are you saying? My dad is the strongest"
One of the little Heracross said while looking angrily at Gengar.
Gengar "Gegege, I am just joking"
He said while remembering his past about making baby pokemons cry, it still gives him chills and he doesn't want to experience it.

Re-Ordaining of the Chosen
Alea cheerfully hummed as she descended the steps, brimming in upbeat while her colleague, Quarren Leos, shot her a look of skepticism. “So… were you right about him?” he asked doubtfully. She came to a stop for a moment, her humming falling silent before she shook her head, waving her medium length light-blonde hair from side to side. “I was wrong about him.” Quarren raised an eyebrow in confusion at the convoluted response.“But you seem quite happy?” he asked again. “Because I am. But I was wrong about him. He was… so much more than I ever expected.” Alea looked at the sky overhead with a smile. “That boy… no, that man, is amazing. I firmly believe he will come to stand on top of any adversary he faces. He is destined. He is Chosen.” Quarren snorted as he stepped past, shaking his head. “Okay. Each to their own beliefs but you’re sounding like a nutjob. That skinny twig? Everyone calls him a cripple, you know,” he shook his head.“Rumours are always false, Leos,” Alea answered with a disapproving shake of her head. “You wouldn’t know. He is so, so much more.” “I saw him with my own two eyes. I didn’t see anything redeeming,” Quarren rebutted. “Well…” Alea chuckled. “You haven’t seen what I’ve seen.” In the year 917 of the Imperial Calendar, the Great War had just ended between dozens of nations. Farrien welcomed home millions of troops and warriors with the Archdukes of Aerianne and Kanaria leading them at the forefront. Since the founding of Farrien, the Aerianne and Kanarian Archduchies have been pillars upholding the Kingdom from enemies. It was common belief that they possessed special blood blessed by the Goddess Stecia, who gifted the lineage to the first King of Farrien when he first founded the country. All were ecstatic when the current generation of the two Archduchy's, after the war, agreed to let their children wed. The excitement was short-lived however when the Aerianne Princess proved to be a dragoness among men but the Kanarian Prince was worse than even mediocre. The Prince disappeared and the wedding was shortly forgotten as society lived on. Until one day the Young Heir of Kanaria returned to Farrien a changed man, bringing demise with him. Follow the story of the Chosen ordained by the Goddess of Time as he returns to the past to right his wrongs and set things back straight again!
