Journey Towards Greatness Chapter 879

As Garchomp jumped back and abandoned the clinch between him and Kyurem, Kyurem's face crashed on the ground.
With all that power it was putting behind to push Garchomp back and on top of that using Dragon Claw to hit Garchomp, as soon as Garchomp gave up and jumped back, Kyurem found itself going face-first to the ground as there was no resistance to its power.
As soon as it crashed Julian made a move.
Julian "Now Dragon Rush"
As soon as Kyurem went down, Julian called for another powerful Dragon Rush, Garchomp moved fast, as fast as before, he broke the sound barrier within seconds and crashed straight into Kyurem with the massive energy dragon.
The explosion that followed it was massive, if it were not for them battling inside this mountain, the whole of Roshan city would feel the impact, it was this mountain that absorbed all the impact from their attacks, and nothing reached Roshan city except vibrations.
The people in the city can take them as mini earthquakes but they knew they were not simple earthquakes, even if they didn't see the explosions they could hear them, they also heard the loud roars coming from the mountain.
They believed that two powerful pokemons are battling and they suspected one of them to be Kyurem, the local legend.
They have never seen Kyurem in person but they believe that it exists because of all the destruction it has left behind throughout the years.
People wondered what the other pokemon was but no one is brave enough to go there, there is a reason why there is a do not climb sign at the foot of the mountain.

Back inside Kyurem's lair, Garchomp's Dragon Rush hit hard and was able to deal a good amount of damage to Kyurem but this just made things worse because this hurt Kyurem's pride and it went ballistic.

It charged at Garchomp swiping left and right and on top of that, it started to shoot Ice Beam randomly.
Garchomp jumped around and dodge those random Ice Beams and swipes but it was getting harder to keep doing so, he soon got cornered against a wall.
As Kyurem charged up another Dragon Claw and tried to swipe at Garchomp.
Julian "Now Stone Edge"
As Kyurem is so close to Garchomp right now, Julian saw this opportunity and used one of the strongest rock type moves.
Being an Ice Type pokemon Kyurem has more than four type weaknesses and luckily for Garchomp, he has access to four types of attacks that are super effective on Kyurem inside his massive arsenal of attacks.
Garchomp slammed his claws onto the ground and used Stone Edge.
As Kyurem was about to hit Garchomp with a Dragon Claw, it suddenly felt itself lose balance and then it got impaled by a massive glowing rock from the ground which took it by surprise, the glowing massive rock hit right on its abdomen and sent it flying across the lair.
Julian "Go, go, go, don't stop, use Dragon Pulse"
As Kyurem was still flying through the air, Garchomp blasted a powerful Dragon Pulse at Kyurem but before the Dragon Pulse could hit Kyurem, it recovered in an instant and suddenly countered with its own Dragon Pulse as well.
And its Dragon Pulse was, bigger, stronger, and faster than Garchomp's, Kyurem's special attack is as strong as its physical attack so Garchomp is at a huge disadvantage if Kyurem decides to stick to special attacks when dealing with Garchomp.
Kyurem's Dragon Pulse completely engulfed Garchomp's Dragon Pulse and continued towards him.
Julian "Move out of the way and use Dragon Rush"
Seeing that Garchomp's special attacks won't do much, Julian realized that close quarter combat was the best option.

Garchomp charged up another Dragon Rush and rushed towards Kyurem with another massive energy dragon around his body.
Kyurem saw the attack coming and blasted another Dragon Pulse and Garchomp but Garchomp dodged the Dragon Pulse and landed another hit on Kyurem and sent it crashing on the ground.
Even though the attack dealt a lot of damage, Kyurem still got back to its feet as if it was nothing and roared in anger.
It then suddenly summoned a raging snow tornado and sent it at Garchomp, Garchomp sensed the danger from this attack, if this hits he will get destroyed.
He was not the only one, Julian also noticed this, luckily with Garchomp's speed dodging this Blizzard will not be a huge problem but Julian knew that he has to be more careful, he has to continue sticking with his current strategy.
Slowly chipping of Kyurem's health and avoid any hits from it, since Kyurem is very aggressive in nature it has been easy for Julian to read its movements and predict them but he is also worried about Kyurem going berserk again.
If it does that random swings and ice beams again, Garchomp will be in trouble, last time Julian got lucky and Kyurem cornered Garchomp in a place where a Stone Edge could be used and Kyurem would have no way to dodge it but the same thing won't work twice on an ancient beast like Kyurem.
As the snow tornado got closer to Garchomp he moved to the side and dodged it but as soon as he did so, an Ice Beam came at him very fast, he was fast enough to react to it but not fast enough to dodge it, the Ice Beam hit his left arm and did a lot of damage to it.
Garchomp suddenly came crashing down on the ground, just like a bird that was shot from the sky.
