Julian looked at Yesh's choice and smiled, it was indeed a very good choice, to use a Fire-type against his Escavalier who is four times weak to a fire type attack, well since that is his only weakness any other choice would have been considered really stupid.

Escavalier has eight resistance and one immunity, if the opposition has a pokemon that is fire type or can use fire type move, that is the best choice, if not they really are willing to take a very big risk or they are stupid unless they are just too overpowered compared to Julian's pokemon which is just a ridicules thought. ​​

Julian "Go on make your first move"

Julian said welcoming the first move from Yesh.

Yesh tried to study Julian's Escavalier but he couldn't find anything that was standing out of the blue, he has some information about Escavaliers in general and he knew it wouldn't matter what type of attacks he goes for, it has equal Defense and Special Defense.

Since there was no better way to attack, he decided to go heavy from the very beginning.

Yesh "Use Fire Lash"

Yesh went big with the first attack, Fire Slash is a very powerful physical move that deals a lot of damage but it also lowers the opponent's defense by one stage.

Julian "Use Protect and then Rain Dance"

Escavalier suddenly put a barrier in front of him and protected himself from the powerful Fire Lash, even though his defense is good he is not strong enough to take on such a powerful move head-on.

The Fire Lash landed on the Protect and created a very striking sound, the sound was similar to a whip's end whiplashing in the air, the Protect shattered but it was able to protect Escavalier.

He then suddenly used Rain Dance and called upon the rain, clouds started to form over the battlefield and it then started to rain.

Julian knows the weakness of his pokemons, and Escavalier's four times weakness to fire type moves is a big no for Julian and that is why he thought Escavalier Rain Dance so he can reduce the power of fire type attacks by half putting his Escavalier in a little advantageous position than before.

Yesh didn't see this coming but he was not surprised, he just put this method into the back of his mental list so he can use this type of moves in the future for his own battles.

As the rain started to pour down his Heatmor started to feel uncomfortable due to the water that was falling on its body and it couldn't do anything about it.

Yesh "Use Flamethrower"

He knew that this battle won't be easy and his chance of winning is slim to none, he now wants to figure out for how long can he survive.

Julian "Go right through it, use Drill Run"

As Heatmor blasted a powerful Flamethrower, Julian countered using Drill Run, Escavalier joined its arms and started to spin, he then charged right through he Flamethrower, since the ground energy was covering his whole body, he wasn't affected much by the Flamethrower.

As Yesh saw the attack coming he quickly went for the defense and called for a Protect.

Heatmor put up a Protect to block the incoming attack and it did, Escavalier was stopped in his tracks but the Protect shattered in an instant after Escavalier made contact with it, Heatmor backed of sensing the danger, luckily all the power behind the attack disappeared and Escavalier just floated there but just for a second as Julian made another call.

Julian "Finish this with Giga Impact"

Since Escavalier was so close to Heatmor there is no way it could dodge this Giga Impact, Escavalier's body got covered with destructive energy and he charged at his foe with full power.

Yesh knew he had to counter so he went all out as well.

Yesh "Use Inferno"

Since his Heatmor is a little better at using Special Attacks than physical attacks, he went for it and he also put Julian's theory behind it, a Special Attack will always win when an exchange with a physical attack if the attack is coming from a distance, he can stop his opponent's pokemon on its path.

Heatmor created a massive ball of fire and blasted at Escavalier who is now right next to it.

The two moves made contact and it caused a massive explosion, the people who were watching backed off in fear as they felt the shockwave hitting their body, they witnessed the trees being blown till they bent a little, leaves were ripped of their branch and sent flying.

The shockwave traveled very high and even blew away the rain clouds on top of them, the rain stopped as there are no clouds right now.

Yesh waited in anticipation as he doesn't know the result of this battle, now is the clear time to shift the tide and defeat Julian's Escavalier as the Rain Dance has been blown away.

As the smoke cleared up the result of the battle was in as well, Yesh didn't say anything as he saw the result, his Heatmor was down on the ground knocked out while Julian's Escavalier is still floating in the air.

This showed the difference between him and Julian's pokemons power.
