Since taking on the gym was no longer an option right now, Julian focused on training more, he called Deino and Fraxure and asked them to have a mock battle as that was the only thing they could do.

They are at their physical peak and even if they level up and grow stronger, there would not be much difference, yes they will become stronger but there will be no massive gains in the process. ​​

Right now Julian's main focus for them is to evolve, he isn't worried about Fraxure but Deino's evolution is bothering him, not because that he cannot evolve but because of what he can become after evolving.

Their mock battle continued and things were going on as Julian expected but suddenly something happened, Deino started to glow and grow bigger.

He said and watched Deino evolve, the light covered the forest as Julian's other pokemons watched curiously, soon Deino's head which was covered with light started to become bigger then split turning into two heads.

Once the light disappeared Zweilous was there, standing with two heads, still blind like before but now his senses are even higher due to two heads.

The two heads moved around and suddenly bumped into each other startling himself, one head sensed something very familiar but yet different at the same time, the same could be said for the other head as well.

The first few minutes were waves of confusion for Zweilous as he couldn't figure out what was happening, soon he realized that he knows has two heads and two separate thinking, well to be exact one head thinks that it is the main head while the other head is just nuisance.

Julian approached Zweilous and looked at him, he didn't expect Deino would evolve now, this made it harder for him now, he still hasn't challenged the Icirrus gym, and battling the gym now after Deino evolved to Zweilous would be even harder.

He will have to work from the first step to quickly make sure that Zweilous figures out which head is the most dominant one.

The thing is even Julian can't choose for them, both heads are equally intelligent and equally powerful, it will depend on time and their constant clashes on who will become the main head and who will disappear.

The first day was not that bad and Julian made sure to keep an eye on them, but on the second day the problem started, the two heads first couldn't figure out which way to go, the left head wanted to go one way and the right head wanted to go the other way, because of this they started their first fight.

They bit each other and tried to win over the other, Julian just watched as this is the natural process, if things go bad then he will step in.

Julian sighed and checked them to see if they have any wounds or cuts and he found them, Zweilous is at a level where he could crush stones inside his mouth, of course, there will be cuts after the two heads bit each other.

He took out some bandages and ointment and applied on their wounds, luckily these things work very fast and pokemons heal very fast as well so these cuts and wounds would heal before they start their fight again.

Another fight broke between the two heads again and this time it was for food, which head would get to eat more, the thing is, it didn't matter which head eats more, as all of it goes into the same stomach but this helps them in asserting their dominance over the other head.

Julian learned more about the heads of Zweilous, he found out that the evolution into further stage doesn't depend on the physical strength of the head but the mental one.

During all those fights that the two heads have, one will soon start to hate the constant fighting, one head would find it unnecessary to fight the other head which would make it more submissive than the other head, and with one head continuously avoiding fights further down the line, the dominant head would start to become more dominant in nature and will become the real leader of the body.

And when they reach the level where they will further evolve into Hydreigon, the dominant head will become the main head while the submissive head will split into two unconscious heads that will act like arms.

This sound really messed up and it is, the submissive head will be gone for good and it will never know what happened, it will just fade away, its memories and experience will all be absorbed by the dominant head becoming even more intelligent than before.

But this is the nature of this pokemon and this is how they have done it through ages.

Julian felt a little weird after learning all this, he looked at Zweilous who are/is eating his food, after that he sighed.

The head that will become the submissive one doesn't have to know that it will disappear, if it finds out, it will try its best to fight back and things can turn up very bad, Julian decided to stay silent on this matter, he also made sure to be extra attentive on Zweilous during this time.

His main focus will be to level up Zweilous fast so that things move swiftly and he wouldn't have to worry about one head hurting the other.
