Journey Towards Greatness Chapter 801

Since Gengar is trying to figure out how to create the perfect dimension, Julian decided to let him roam around and find access to the dimension he just sensed around the tower.
Once Gengar left his shadow and disappeared into the huge crowd, Julian also made his way into the tower, but before that he looked up to see how high the tower really is and he couldn't see the tip of the tower at all.
He ignored it and walked in, there are a lot of people here and the first floor is actually massive with numerous people standing around the graves of pokemon and paying their respect, it seems that no one is allowed to take any photos inside here.
Julian looked around and saw countless graves, the very first floor is already bigger than ten battlefields combined and they are already filled with tombstones of dead pokemons, he could see people standing in front of them, some of them were crying and it was clear that the loss was new.
Some just stood in front of the tomb and talked to it, maybe indicating that it has been very long since the pokemon has died.
Julian didn't understand why this place was a tourist spot, this place is filled with so much sorrow and sadness of both people and pokemon, but Julian also sensed something else around this place, a very cold aura all around this place.
It is the same aura when a place would be infested with ghost type pokemons and Julian could sense them, a lot of ghost type pokemons all over this place.
It looks like these pokemons have no problem with these people around here, Julian continued up the tower and he started to feel the surrounding getting colder, it was clear that the pokemons here are stronger than the ones below.

Julian also started to notice something else, trainers, and their trainers are here to catch ghost type pokemons.
Catching pokemon here was not forbidden, instead, sometimes they held computation here for trainers on catching the most ghost type pokemons, with so many dead pokemons in the tower, its a magnet for ghost-type pokemons and they might overpopulate this place.
Trainers and welcomed to catch them and take them away so that ghost pokemons don't overpopulate this tower, even trainers who want to catch ghost type pokemons come here as their very first option because most of the ghost type pokemons that can be found here have a lot of potentials.
With constantly being exposed to such thick ghostly aura, their foundation is better than the ones that can be found in the wild, most of Shauntal's ghost pokemons were caught here as well, this also made trainers very eager to catch a pokemon of that potential, a ghost pokemon that can grow as strong as an elite level pokemon.
Julian continued his way up the tower, the higher he got the more powerful the ghost-type pokemons were being found, the number of trainers also got less but the quality of the trainers got higher.
Trainers that are able to catch pokemons here are a lot more experienced and know what they want, Julian watched a few trainers catch their pokemons and then continued up, on his way up he also encountered some powerful ghost type pokemons but they didn't bother to mess with him at all.
They just went right past him as his existence didn't matter, ghost type pokemons are not like this, they like to get the attention of people and mess with their head but these ghost type pokemons are interested in something completely different.
Julian remembered the dimension Gengar was trying to find and he thought about it.

Julian 'Maybe they are also searching for this gate, maybe this dimension is related to the ghost type pokemons'
He thought and continued forward.
After an hour, Julian finally reached the top of the tower and he was surprised to see someone he didn't expect to meet.
A middle-aged man with long red hair tied up in a ponytail, he is wearing a tribal type of cloth while he also has pokeballs around his neck.
This person is none other than the champion of the Unova region, Alder.
Alder was holding a rope that is tied to a wooden log, this log seems to be used for hitting the bell to ring the bell, Alder pulled the rope and then rammed it at the bell to create a loud gong sound that covered a large area.
Julian listened to the sound of the bell and felt different.
Julian 'It looks like the rumors are true, this sound is very soothing'
He thought and sat down on a bench that was nearby, Alder continued hitting the bell a few more times before finally stopping, when he turned around he noticed that he has an audience, he didn't realize that he was being watched by someone as he was fully concentrated in his task.
As Alder looked at the young in front of him, a surprised expression appeared on his face and he didn't expect to meet this young man here.
Alder "Hahaha, looks like it's my lucky day, to meet the great Julian himself"
He said and laughed cheerfully.
Julian "Oh, you recognized me?"
He was surprised, he is not wearing his usual outfit and his face is covered as well.
Alder "Hahaha, of course, those eyes of yours, are the eyes of a warrior, I could recognize those eyes in a crowd among thousands, it's not easy to find someone with such fierce eyes"
He said.
Julian "I see, it's my eyes then"
He said and gave it a thought, next time he will be wearing sunglasses when he walks around the city so people can't recognize him.
Alder "Yes indeed, a warrior's eye, no wonder you are so powerful, not just anyone could possess such eyes as yours"
He said and laughed.
While Alder talks about Julian's eyes, what he really meant was the way Julian looked at others, it was the look of someone who is at the top and doesn't need to be bothered by others, he knew he is the best and he doesn't need to prove it to others.
Just like a Warrior.
