As Archen's every stat rose, he felt the power, he was faster and more powerful, that Ancient Power helped a lot, he decided to attack with another Ancient Power.

Archen blasted a white ball of energy at Golurk and Golurk countered with a Shadow Ball, the same thing happened as both moves collided but Archen experienced no change, the increase in power is not guaranteed every time Ancient Power is used. ​​

Golurk was done waiting and suddenly dove down at Archen as the fire from his arms and bottom part of the body burst into massive flames thrusting him towards Archen even faster.

Steel energy suddenly covered Golurk's whole body as his massive frame came down even faster, Golurk used Heavy Slam.

Heavy Slam is the type of move that depends on the user's weight, the heavier the pokemon, the stronger the move, and one could easily tell that Golurk ways a lot, he is gigantic, even bigger than the biggest Golurk that have been seen in the wild or trained by a pokemon.

On top of that Archen is also weak to Steel-type moves and this Heavy Slam will end it once and for all, no matter how high Archen rises his defense or tries to counter it, the speed and weight behind this attack are massive.

Those thrusters were also putting a lot of weight behind this attack as well, this was an end game move, even Julian is surprised by seeing the power behind this move, this move can clearly become Golurk's ace move, the move that can end it all.

Archen saw this with wide eyes as the shadow of Golurk completely covered his tiny body, but he has still not given up, he cried a battle cry and ran, there was no other option, the only way to survive is to escape from the attack's radius.

Archen used all that extra power he got and put it in his legs and sprinted out and kept running, as he made his way out of the shadow, Golurk crashed on the ground, Archen dodged the attack by a hair inch but it was not over.

The crash was like a meteor hitting the ground, the whole ground shook and created a crater, the areas that were around the battlefield shook and experienced an earthquake which caused some pokemons to fly away in the sky while others took shelter, seeing the impact of the attack, Julian quickly put up a forcefield made of Omniforce to block the explosion from hitting his other pokemons.

Rocks were sent flying everywhere and along with those rocks, Archen was also sent flying off his feet, some rocks hit him and restricted him from using his wings to glide away.

As Archen came crashing down the rocks followed behind and buried him under them, Golurk then walked out of the massive crater he created and looked at the pile of rocks that has Archen buried inside them.

Seeing no movement for a few seconds, Golurk raised his arms and let out a roar declaring his victory but then something happened.

Rays of light shot out from the gaps between the rocks and the rocks were blasted away and right in the middle, everyone could see a glowing body that is growing in size, Archen started to evolve.

His small body started to grow, his wings expanded and his tail became longer, as the glow disappeared Archeops is revealed, standing 1.8 meters tall, he was surrounded by the aura of a violent prehistoric predator.

His attack stats raised significantly but it was not just his attack, even his Special Attack and Speed increased making him a force to reckon with.

Archeops then blasted another Dragon Pulse at Golurk, Golurk stood his ground and crossed his arms and blocked the Dragon Pulse head-on, surprisingly the Dragon Pulse was strong enough to push him back but Golurk stood his ground and waited till the Dragon Pulse faded away.

Once it was gone, he suddenly changed into his jet form and took the sky, he went very high until he was not visible to Julian's Unova pokemons.

He then locked onto Archeops and dove down again using Heavy Slam and this time he used more thrust and the larger distance also made a lot of difference as he is able to pick up more speed on his way down.

Archeops roared and flapped his wings and flew properly for the first time, he didn't fear Golurk's Heavy Slam and decided to take it head-on, halfway through their meeting, Archeops blasted a Dragon Pulse at Golurk which he easily tore through but Archeops got what he wanted.

To slow down Golurk a little, then Archeops used Head Smash, with his head enforced and every covering his body, he increased his speed and met Golurk in the middle.

Both pokemon finally collided and the effect was not something one would expect from pokemons of their level, the scale of the explosion was as massive as ones that can be created when champion level pokemons clash.

The shockwave followed after shattering the sound barrier which created a sonic boom, the massive explosion covered both pokemons that had just collided, and the next second two pokemons could be seen falling down.

After a few seconds, they both landed on the ground weak and unable to move, it seems to be a draw.

Julian walked close to the area where they fell and looked at both Golurk and Archeops, after looking at them he called the battle an end.

As he said so, Golurk stood up from the pit and raised his hands up in the air, finally putting an end to this battle, Archeops was out cold inside the pit he created when he fell down.

It was not that he lost that exchange, it was just that the circumstance didn't favor him, Golurk was higher level so he has a little extra power, Heavy Slam was also very powerful but the move Archeops used was Head Smash which has massive recoil damage, he will receive half the damage he dealt with his opponent.

And his ability didn't favor him either. Defeatist, an ability that halved the user's attack and special attack once their health gets lower than half their full health.

With losing half of his attack stat after that collision, he couldn't take it anymore and got knocked out after being pushed to the limit by Heavy Slam.

Julian looked at Golurk and he is also heavily injured after the battle, they both will need a long rest.
