Not many Deino reach adulthood because most of them get themselves kills by fighting themselves, that is why most Hydreigon never leave their babies alone and will take care of them till Zweilous, the second stage of Deino figure out which head is the dominant one.

When a Deino evolves into Zweilous, the two heads start to compete with each other to assert dominance over the other, this fight between them can take months to be resolved, once the dominant head has been established it will then go further become the main head of the Hydreigon, with the other head will split into two entities and act as lifeless puppets or arms for the main head.

This process is very hard to watch. If Julian had not taken Deino with him. When he would have evolved he could have killed himself over a fight between his heads.

This fight can get very gruesome at times as one head can destroy the other head which in fact kills the pokemon, Zweilous need both of their heads to stay alive, that is why their parents, a Hydreigon is always around to break the fight when things get rough between the two heads.

Julian could tell his Deino is close to evolving as well and he is a little nervous, he knows he cannot interfere between the fights between its heads, he can only stop them from fighting when things get bad.

He continued to train Deino with the training method he came up with, after training Deino, he shifted his focus to Archen and Golett, both of them are close to evolving, and its just a matter of fact on who can be pushed to the edge and experience a breakthrough.

Golett is a few levels higher than Archen but that doesn't matter now, Julian decided to make them battle each other.

He let his other pokemons rest and let Archen and Golett take their stage, in this battle, Julian will not interfere and both pokemons will have to rely on themselves and come up with ways to battle the other and defeat the other if possible.

Julian stood in the middle and decided to become the referee of this battle.

He said and looked at both his pokemons, Archen is clearly the stronger attacker here, even though he is young and is under level, he is a prehistoric monster that will evolve into even a dangerous monster. Golett, on the other hand, is not that impressive compared to Archen, his attack is high but his defense or special defense is not that high compared to Archen.

Even Archen's Special Attack is higher than Golett's, the only thing Golett has on his side is that he is a higher level so his attack stat is somewhat similar to Archen's.

This will be a very interesting battle and Julian wants to see what these pokemons of his has learned after training under him and his older pokemons.
