Her Swoobat survived but the damage from the Quick Attack couldn't be ignored, she knows her Swoobat cannot take hits like that do to its weak Defense and Special Defense.

Skyla "Make some distance and use Air Cutter"

Archen also created multiple small rocks and sent it towards the incoming the Air Cutters, as both attacks clashed it created a cloud of dust as the rocks were turned into dust blocking both side's vision on each other.

Julian "Another Rock Throw"

Julian didn't care about the smoke and called for another one, with no target to lock onto the Archen just blindly aimed the attack in the same direction as last time.

Skyla also didn't hold back and called for another Air Cutter.

Both pokemons attacked but this time they had no target to lock on to, as both attacks passed through the dust cloud all of them could hear the sound of the collision but not all of them collided,

Some of the Air Cutters came out of the dust cloud that has increased in size and the Air Cutters are directly heading towards Archen and the same could be said for those flying rocks as well.

Some of them went past through the dust could and headed towards Swoobat.

The Air Cutters hit Archen as they were faster than him but with his being a Rock Type as well he easily resisted them with very little damage on his side.

On the other hand, Swoobat used its speed to dodge some rocks but it couldn't dodge it all and got hit hard by one of the rocks, one of its wings got hit when it tried to move to the side to dodge that rock.

It then came crashing down as it cannot fly with just one wing, seeing his opponent's pokemon falling down Julian decided to go for the finish.

Julian "Use Head Smash"

Yes, his Archen knew Head Smash, one of the most powerful Rock-type moves.

Skyla was not going down so easily, seeing that Julian was intending to finish it right here she wanted to counter with her strongest move as well.

Skyla "Use Expanding Force"

Expanding Force is a powerful Psychic-type Special Attack and its power will double when used inside a Psychic Terrain but there is no Psychic Terrian so she has to go with it anyway.

Julian had predicted this so he called for Head Smash, even though a powerful move it has massive side effects as well, the more power Archen puts behind the attack, he will receive half of its damage due to the recoil.

As Archen charged in with his rocky head covered with a layer of hard glowing rock and his body covered in white energy, his speed increased with every step.

The falling Swoobat also used Expanding Force releasing a psychic blast all over the battlefield, Archen smashed right through the psychic blast but he received the recoil damage from it but he continued forward.

Skyla was surprised by this, she knows how Head Smash works so she expected Archen to slow down but she severely underestimated Julian's Archen, even though he received damage and lost some heath, it didn't matter.

He has survived stronger hits before.

He then connected the Head Smash and sent the Swoobat flying out of the battlefield but he once again took the recoil damage and his health was reduced to half.

But there is nothing to worry about it now, Julian looked at the Swoobat which has been knocked out and planted on the wall behind Skyla.
