If Julian pressures her enough she will go back to what she is most comfortable with and then he will start his main attack, a pokemon battle has always been psychological for Julian whenever he faces opponents because they would often start to think of a way to get back at Julian.

This battle is going to can be very long because both pokemon is immune to the other pokemons typing, while Drilbur is a ground type and is immune to Electricity, Eelektrik is immune to ground type attacks because of its ability Levitate.

So the only way they can damage each other is by not relying on their own typing.

Julian "Use Metal Claw"

Drilbur used the ground as his advantage to move faster, above the ground his speed is below average but under the ground, he is very fast, he dug right through the ground and disappeared from Eelektrik's vision.

Drilbur tried to struggle out of it but couldn't, the opponent was too power, Julian knew he has to come up with another way for Drilbur to get out of that constriction, the opponent was too powerful for Drilbur to just burst out of its grip with brute strength, even though Drilbur is strong he is a little outmatched because he is still in his base form.

Elesa "Now use Toxic"

Eelektrik used Toxic and poisoned Drilbur, even though Drilbur is resistant to poison types he can still get poisoned, even though the effect of the poison won't be big it will still cause some trouble for Drilbur, it may cause loss of energy or stamina which is very crucial in a battle.

Julian "Use Rock Slide"

Julian decided to go for a Rock Slide, even though Drilbur will also come under fire because he is trapped by Eelektrik, he is resistant to rock type attacks and Julian knows he can easily take a Rock Slide because his rivalry with Boldore has increased even further.

Now that Roggenrola had evolved into Boldore, he is clearly a lot stronger than Drilbur and whenever he gets the chance he will try to bully Drilbur but Drilbur never backed down and still fought against Boldore. Due to their constant fights, Drilbur has become more resistant to rock type attacks than other ground type pokemons.

Drilbur used Rock Slide and massive rocks came crashing down on both Drilbur and Eelektrik, Elesa was stunned by this and didn't get enough time to think of a counter, she thought she would tire Julian's pokemon into submission through this method.

She didn't think Julian won't even care about his pokemon's own damage and use a suicidal move, the rocks came crashing down and burned both of them under it.

Dust covered the whole battlefield due to the massive rocks crashing on the ground, as the dust cleared up the rocks started to twitch as Drilbur drilled out of them and stood on the ground.

The rocks were then sent flying as Eelektrik used Thunderbolt to blast them off it, Eelektrik floated above the battleground covered in dust and scratches, that Rock Slide was very strong and it was in bad shape compared to Drilbur.

Julian "Hone Claws"

Drilbur powered up using Hone Claws and increased his attack power and accuracy, Julian wanted to end this in the next move.

Julian "Is that all?"

Julian asked while looking at Elesa, though he was satisfied with Elesa's level he still decided to push her, he wanted to pressure her a little more so that she gets out of her comfort zone and goes back to her old style.

Elesa did feel the pressure, she studied a lot for this battle and knew she cannot use her own style against Julian as he has already seen it and if she was Julian she would already have a perfect counter, she knew she had to come up with something new and she did, she wanted to drag her battle because she had seen all of Julain's battle were very short because his pokemons would just destroy their opponent before they could even land a hit on them.

But now things are not turning out as she liked, her plan of dragging the battle failed when Julian showed that he won't hesitate to use a move that might hurt his own pokemons a little.
