Julian stayed behind the group of people that was guided by the guide as he showed them around the ruined city, the city was quite broken, the sands of time had destroyed them, some of them were totally covered in sand while of then they were cracked and broken.

The group continued forward carefully as the guide warned them and told them not to panic if something attacked them out of nowhere, the guild told them that they won't get hurt no matter what. ​​

Even though this message from him caused a stir in the group it is still better to be warned, if he didn't warn them, any attack from a pokemon might cause huge panic in the group.

Soon the whole group reached the center of the ruined city, the guide became quite while introducing the are to the tourist, the tourists felt that something was wrong seeing the guide has turned silent.

As the guide was doing his work, a beam of fire shot out of the main castle in the middle of the city towards the tourist group, luckily the beam stopped right in front of the group and didn't touch anyone.

But this, of course, caused panic in the group and since the guide had already warned them about this, most of them hid behind the guide as he escorted them away from the area. Julian, on the other hand, separated himself from the group as he was more interested in that fire type attack that was thrown at the group.

He made his way towards the castle in the middle silently, he hid his aura from whatever that was inside, he didn't want to battle it after seeing how weak the structure of this castle really is.

He knows that even a small explosion might bring the whole structure down, as he entered the castle while hiding his aura he found nothing except cracked and broken walls, the pokemon that had attacked the group went away as it couldn't sense anyone near the castle.

Julian looked around the castle wall and noticed some etchings of pokemons on them, he went deeper into the castle, and from the looks of it, it looked like any normal old castle, there was nothing special about it from the front.

But Julian soon found a passageway which led deeper underground, now he is really interested to see what is really under this castle, this passageway is quite well hidden, without proper light source one won't be able to see the entrance at all and this place is quite dark.

He went down the passage slowly while maintaining his slow pace and hiding his aura so that he won't alert the pokemon that is inside.

It didn't take him long to soon find himself inside a maze, if normal people were stuck here they would think they are just going round and round around the place, but Julian could tell that he is going down.

On his way, he found some pokemons that were hiding inside the cracks of the wall or pillars that seem to be supporting this underground structure.

After a while going down this maze, Julian soon found the pokemon that was behind all those attacks and he was surprised to see this pokemon, it is none other than a Volcarona, this pokemon has been in many Unova legends and they are known for their power.

They are also called the Sun pokemon as they act as a replacement for the sun sometimes for the people, in ancient legends they were described as legendary pokemons because of how they helped people during tough times but with modern standards they are not considered a legendary.

As they are weaker compared to a Pseudo legendary, let alone a normal one, but still a very powerful pokemon, Julian gets excited seeing this pokemon as it is one of the pokemons he had in mind and he wanted to catch a pre-evolved form, too bad this one is already evolved and from the looks of it, it is near the end of its life.

At the end of the day, no matter how strong a pokemon or a person is, death is the ultimate end of anything, Julian wondered as he saw this Volcarona, even at its weakest state, it was able to launch such a powerful attack before, even though it seemed like a warning shot, it still held a lot of power and Julian felt it.

He wondered how powerful this thing really was at its prime, he looked around the area and noticed that the Volcarona is actually guarding something behind it, he doesn't know what it is but it was releasing a faint light from it.

Julian knew this is something rare and he has to check it out but without hurting the Volcarona in any way, its state was already bad from old age, he doesn't need to bully it as well.

He slowly got out of his hiding spot while releasing his aura to alert the Volcarona while also letting it calm down by sensing he has no ill intention.

This stunt of course caught Volcarona's attention just like Julian expected but instead of being calm, it attacked Julian as soon as it saw him with a Flamethrower.
