The whole night was cold but Infernape was able to maintain a constant temperature around the tents so Yesh didn't catch a cold.

A new day arrived and the desert returned to its previous temperature, the sun is high up in the sky, and pokemons of the night are digging back into the dept of the sand while the pokemons of the day are coming out to bath in the desert sun. ​​

Yesh said he wanted to catch a pokemon today so Julian decided to follow him around and see what pokemon he chooses for his team, Julian followed Yesh around the desert as he searched for pokemons to catch.

Yesh is being very smart with his choice. Since he already has a ground type he is avoiding pokemons like Sandile and Hippopotas, Julian noticed some Braviarys flying up in the sky, being a top predator many pokemons fear these fierce pokemon.

As soon as a Braviary fly up in the sky, the pokemons around the area dig into the ground and hide, making it even harder for Yesh to find a pokemon.

If It was Julian he would try to find the area where the Braviary stay because they are very powerful pokemons and even Julian is considering to catch one but he is waiting for something else, he has a pokemon in his mind but it will be very hard to find compared to the Braviary or its pre-evolution.

After walking under the desert heat for quite a long time, Yesh seem to have finally found a pokemon he is interested in, a group of Vullaby which seems to be preying on a dead desert lizard, Vullabys are dark/ flying type pokemon and they have only four weaknesses, three resistance and two immunity which makes them a very good pokemon.

Vullabys cannot fly due to their small wings but they protect themselves by creating an armor made of bones of other pokemons around them, the half-cracked eggshell that Julian and Yesh can see around these Vullabys are made from the bones of other pokemons.

Yesh quickly sent out his Drilbur and targeted the strongest Vullaby in the group, seeing a pokemon just attacked them, the Vullaby tried to escape and most of them did, except the one targeted by Yesh.

After easily defeating the Vullaby, Yesh threw a Pokeball and caught it very easily, as the capture was complete Julian sensed something flying towards them at high speed, he turned around and noticed that it is a Braviary.

It seems to be targeting Yesh, and to be more specific, his Pokeball that just captured the Vullaby.

Julian "Looking for an easy meal I guess"

Julian said and signaled Gengar to scare it away, as the Braviary got closer it suddenly felt danger coming from the ground, it was so fierce that it even forgot to flap its wings and fly away, the Braviary crashed into the desert sand beak first as its head dug in deep.

It then quickly pulled out its head and looked around scared for its life, wanting to take no chance it flapped its wings and flew away.

Yesh also picked up his Pokeball that contains his new pokemon, a dark/flying type is indeed a good typing and its evolution Mandibuzz are known for their bulky build and how good they are at taking hits, they can be serious tanks for a team, the only problem is that they take very long to evolve.

Luckily Vullabys are strong in their base form as well, they can easily fight a Butterfree or a Beedrill that are the same level as a Vullaby.

Julian "I think we should be moving now, the temperature will get much hotter here, its best to keep moving"

Julian said and told Yesh to get ready, they returned back to their campsite and packed up their belonging before leaving.

It will take them two days to reach the desert resort that is further down this long and dry road filled with cracks and potholes.

After two days of riding Julian finally arrived at the Join Avenue, this is like a little market between Castelia City and Nimbasa city for the trainers and travelers to take the roadway, this little market is filled with all type of good that a trainer might need for his travel, from pokemon food to trainer gadgets.

Julian is surprised how good the service this small market offer for travelers, after taking a look around the avenue, Julian and Yesh headed towards the desert resort, they have not slept properly for a few days now and they are a little fatigue.

When Julian and Yesh entered the Desert Resort, Julian is stunned by the number of trainers and travelers that are in here, thankfully the resort is massive so people won't have to share rooms with each other, Julian and Yesh both got a room for themselves to spend a few days here.

Both of them decided to stay in the resort for a few days before hitting the road again, Julian also wanted to go deeper into the desert area because he has heard of a place called the Relic Castle, rumors have it that this castle is home to a very strong pokemon and it will attack anyone that gets closer to the castle.

Julian knew when a pokemon gets very aggressive, it is either to territorial or it is protecting something very precious, he wants to see what this pokemon is and what it is protecting.
