Julian called back his Karrablast and sent out Boldore once again, this might be a little tough battle with Leavanny being a grass type and having good special attack stats that can seriously damage Boldore.

Boldore is not the best option to face off against Leavanny but he was the only option Julian had and this is not the first time Julian has faced a tougher opponent. When it comes to power, his Boldore has the upper hand but he has to be careful of any special attacks that Leavanny throws at Boldore. ​​

Burgh started the battle without giving a second thought, he knew he has to attack from a distance and knowing how slow Boldore is, he would be stupid not to use it for his own advantage.

But Boldore also has an advantage over Leavanny, with his rock typing, and his arsenal filled with rock type moves he can deal serious damage to Leavanny but first he needs to pin it down before delivering the final blow.

Burgh "Leavanny, use Solar Beam"

Leavanny started to strong, Burgh wants to end this quickly and a big move like Solar Beam will do the trick but for that, he needs to wait.

Luckily for him, his opponent's pokemon won't be able to hit Leavanny because it is too slow and with Leavanny's speed it can easily dodge those Power Gems from Boldore.

Julian "Sandstorm"

Julian suddenly calls out Sandstorm, the perfect counter for this situation as this moves reduces the power of a Solar Beam by 50% and that is a lot of power loss and on top of that the Sandstorm will keep on damaging Leavanny until the Sandstorm ends.

The Sandstorm covered everything in the battlefield altering everyone's vision, the crowd couldn't see what is happening inside the Sandstorm while inside the Sandstorm, Leavanny is struggling to collect solar energy to blast a Solar Beam.

Burgh didn't see this coming but right now he is not powered about it, he is thinking about how to end this Sandstorm but it is not possible unless his pokemon also knows a field move like Sandstorm.

Too bad he doesn't, as the Sandstorm continues, small stones keeps flying around and hitting Leavanny while Boldore is just standing there waiting for his chance, even though these stones hit him, he is not affected by them as he is a rock type.

Leavanny is getting hit left and right by stones and it is slowly chipping away its health, but after a second things change as Leavanny has completed collecting Solar Energy, even though its power is cut in half it is still a very powerful move and Boldore cannot afford to take it head-on.

Leavanny then launched it straight at the direction where Boldore was standing before, luckily for Burgh, Boldore hasn't moved an inch from that position.

Julian "Use Protect"

Before the Solar Beam could hit him he used Protect and blocked the Solar Beam easily, and the Sandstorm continued damaging Leavanny again.

Burgh didn't know what to do, Leavanny cannot just stand there but it is also having a hard time pinpointing Boldore, Boldore won't just stay in one place and wait for an attack to come towards him.

Burgh decided to move in closer, it is a risk but he has to do it for Leavanny to get a clear vision on Boldore so it can continue its attack.

Burgh "Leavanny, move forward and use Giga Drain"

Leavanny followed Burgh's instruction and moved in closer to Boldore while pushing through the harsh Sandstorm, once it got closer it got a good view of the battlefield and where Boldore is standing, as soon as it noticed Boldore, it used Giga Drain to attack Boldore.

Julian "Use Power Gem"

As the green rays shot and hit Boldore, Boldore also shot multiple multicolored rays at Leavanny, both attacks reached their target, while the Power Gem was weak because Boldore is not a special attacker, they did damage Leavanny because it is weak to rock type attacks, at the same time the Giga Drain is constantly drawing Boldore's energy.

Now it is a battle of stamina, who is much tougher than the other, the Sandstorm is also in effect and is in favor of Boldore but Leavanny is feeding on Boldore's energy to restore its own at the same time.

Will Boldore's Power Gem be enough to take down Leavanny or will Leavanny absorb all the power inside Boldore and knock him out.

Julian "This is taking too long, Stone Edge"

Boldore suddenly changed his attack and used Stone Edge as soon as he heard the command, blue glowing massive rocks ripped through the ground and smashed into Leavanny sending it up in the air out of the Sandstorm.

Everyone watched in shock as Leavanny was sent flying up in the sky and then came down on the same massive glowing rock and smashed into it and got knocked out.

This sudden change of move from Julian won him the battle, if he had continued with Power Gem he would have lost, he could see Boldore getting weaker and weaker by the second as the Giga Drain, drain the power out of Boldore so he decided to end it, noticing how focused the Leavanny was while using the Giga Drain, Julian knew it won't see the Stone Edge coming and will get knocked out.

As the Sandstorm ended everyone could see Leavanny is lying on top of the glowing rock which slowly went back into the ground, the referee checked on Leavanny and confirmed that it is knocked out.

Referee "Leavanny is unable to battle Boldore wins".
