After finishing his lunch Julian decided to visit the nearest forest area so he can train his pokemons for their upcoming battle against Lenora, he plans to use Drilbur and Roggenrola for the battle, even though they are weaker than their partners, Darumaka and Karrablast they still have some experience battling in the wild.

And with both of them fighting all the time they have improved a lot. ​​

Since Julian couldn't stop their bickering he decided to put all their aggression in their training against each other to improve them, after Julian found himself a spot to train he released all his pokemons so they can play around.

Except for Roggenrola and Drilbur, they stood in front of Julian while they stared daggers at each other, Julian has figured out why they hate each other, being who they are and who are their parents, they also developed a rivalry against each other.

Roggenrola being the outcast of his family wandered out on his own picking fights against pokemons who are weaker than him and the three Drilburs were also his target, whenever he found one of them alone he would pick a fight with them and bully them.

But now things are different, Roggenrola is not an outcast nor is he the strongest and they are constantly under the eyes of monsters like Gengar and Infernape, Drilbur also started to learn how to fight back and was slowly catching up to Roggenrola.

Seeing this Roggenrola also got very serious with his training, he didn't want Drilbur to pass him, their hatred soon turned out into an intense rivalry, Julian was happy with this development but he still has to keep an eye on these two as they will start to fight each other whenever they get a chance.

They were like siblings, fighting for every little thing, stealing each other's food, making fun of each other, and pulling pranks on each other with the help of Crystal, Crystal being how it is, it never rejected fun and would always participate with them, it never took sides and soon both Roggenrola and Drilbur started to ignore Crystal for double-crossing.

Julian "Now both of you will be having your first official gym battle and I want both of you to concentrate more on your training and less on your bickering"

Julian told them to focus on their training for now, even though they have only one day remaining he can still teach them a few tricks and if not maybe improve their current moves to perform better.

Julian knew if he left these two alone they will start to go crazy again, soon he started their training, first, he made them do some physical workouts then concentrated on how to use their energy with the help of Victini.

He could have asked Infernape but Infernape is a little intimidating to them so Victini who is small and cute works better.

After they were done with the usual workout Julian made them battle Darumaka and Karrablast and as everyone expected they got floored by them, Julian even forced them to team up against Darumaka and they did have a chance with their powers combined but they couldn't communicate with each other and Darumaka sent them crashing into trees by creating explosions and dancing happily afterward.

Julian couldn't do anything but sigh, by now he has already realized that Darumaka has no interest in battles at all, as long as he can explode anything he is happy.

After getting beaten badly by Darumaka and Karrablast both Roggenrola and Drilbur lost their will to quarrel any more and fell asleep, Julian thinks they are ready for their battle tomorrow and it is not up to them on how they react to it.

Julian is not worried about Roggenrola much because he knows how confident the little rock is, Drilbur, on the other hand, is a little shy and cautious one, not to forward with other pokemons when he introduced him to his team.

As the day came to an end he fed his pokemons and returned to his hotel room, tomorrow he has a big battle, Lenora might be a tough opponent for him this time because he will be using Roggenrola and Drilbur and as it is their first time, he doesn't expect them to give out a perfect performance.

And from what he noticed during Lenora's battle with Yesh, Julian knows she will use those chances she gets against him to come out on top.

The next morning Julian woke up pretty early, did everything he needed to do then headed out to the nearest pokemon park so Roggenrola and Drilbur can lighten up before they face Lenora and her pokemons, once they were done with it Julian wasted no time and headed straight towards the gym.

Just like yesterday, Julian saw a trainer walking out of the gym disappointed, he guessed that this trainer got floored by Lenora during their battle, once he walked in Julian saw the same old man from yesterday but this time the old man bowed at him showing his respect.

Julian also bowed back and walked past him and entered the battlefield, he saw that Lenora was already waiting for him in the battlefield with a broom in her hand, she is sweeping off the rubles from the previous battle.

As soon as he walked in Lenora also noticed him and smiled while nodding at him, tossing away the broom in her hand she walked towards her position and took out a Pokeball and held it tightly in her hand.

Lenora "I was waiting for you, as this is a low-level battle and I am kind of disappointed that I cannot use my most powerful pokemons to battle with you but I guess I would have no chance of winning against you if that was really the case"
