Journey Towards Greatness Chapter 630

The weird boy looked at the man in black and didn't say anything and just stood there, Julian also did the same, he wanted to see how the boy will react, seeing no reaction he was surprised.
This was the first time Julian couldn't read someone and on top of that, it was just a 12-year-old kid.
He smiled and approached the boy.
Julian "What is your name kid?"He asked.
"Yesh"
The boy answered.
Julian, didn't think much and took out two pokeballs from his pouch and placed them in front of the boy.
Julian "Do you want a pokemon, both these Pokeball have a Drilbur, you can choose any one of them"
He said and looked at the boy, the boy didn't say much and picked up a Pokeball and released a Drilbur from it, he looked at it and nodded his head, he then took the second ball and released the other Drilbur as well, he then looked at both of them and quickly chose one.
Julian looked at his choice and nodded his head, even though both Drilburs seemed equally good the one the boy chose had a little more potential.
Julian put the other Drilbur back to its Pokeball and looked at the Drilbur that Yesh chose.
Julian "Go, this is your new trainer, he will take care of you"
Julian said and turned around ready to leave when the boy suddenly called him by his name, Julian stopped surprised, and turned around.
Yesh "Mr. Julian, you are Mr. Julian right?"
The boy asked.
Julian is indeed surprised because the boy found his identity even though he was behind his mask, he wondered what gave off his identity away.
Julian "How did you find out?"
Yesh "Simple, you are standing is 6 feet tall, your chest seems to be around 120 to 125 centimeters, waist around 36 inches, all these fit the profile, also your red eyes and black hair gave it off, now many people would notice these simple things but I can"

The boy said.
Hearing the answer Julian felt chill down his spine, even he didn't know his chest and waist size and now a 12-year-old boy identified him with just that, Julian didn't know what to say.
Julian "So what do you want Yesh?"
He asked.
Yesh "I want you to take me as your student"
Yesh said with a flat tone, hearing this Julian is stunned, this is the first time someone has ever asked him to do so.
Julian "You must be joking right?"
Julian said and laughed it off.
Yesh "No, I do not joke, the action to make someone laugh seems very pointless to me"
Yesh said.
Hearing this Julian knew he encountered an enigma but he also noted that this boy is a rare genius.
Julian "Why me? Even though I am good at what I do, that doesn't mean I can be a good teacher, what do you even expect to learn from me?"
Julian asked.
Yesh "I have looked into every strong trainer in the world and you are the only one with a consistent victory and has a 100% win rate which seems to be impossible for any other trainer, even some of the strongest trainers that I have come across like Leon from Galar region has a 90% win rate but he is better than others and has maintained a winning streak for quite a long time now.
You on the other hand never lost even one of your battle, from the day you debuted till this day, Zero losses, you are clearly the best option"
Julian "But that still doesn't answer my question, I am not a good teacher, in fact, I haven't even though anyone about pokemon battles"
Julian said while crossing his arm.
Yesh "Negative, trainer Ash was clearly thought by you in some way, at first, his winning percentage was just average at 50%, then something happened, it was clearly your exposure that his win percentage increased to 70%"

Julian didn't know what to say, he realized that this Yesh is even scarier than he thought, he even researched the people Julian has come across.
Julian "Look, if I was a teacher then I would have given it a thought but clearly I am not one and I have other things to do, you should find a real pokemon teacher who has a license of some sort"
Julian said trying to decline the kid, he didn't have to time to teach this kid on how to pokemon battle and the kid was already very good at it so he didn't have much to teach either.
Yesh "There is nothing to worry, I will not waste your time and only observe from the side, you don't have to pay for anything for me, I can take care of my food and living, the only thing is transport which should be possible on your bike"
The boy said.
Julian is stunned once again, Julian just wanted to decline the boy on teaching him but the boy already thought of going along with him on his journey.
Julian didn't know what to say.
Julian "What is the use of just observing, you will just be wasting your time"
Julian came up with every reason he can to make the boy quit but it all seems useless.
Yesh "It won't, I have a photographic memory, I can watch the battle and store it in my memory, then I can analyze it when we are doing nothing"
Yesh said.
Julian 'This kid said he wants me as a teacher but he is treating me like an observation subject to learn about pokemon battle'
Julian felt helpless, he has never met a character like Yesh, he didn't know how to get rid of this politely, now his only option is to be direct.

A Fractal Divide
Lesivar is a city in ascendancy. With recent innovations in magical crafting, the common people are experiencing a boom in comfort and wealth. The nobility, long used to being the stewards of knowledge and power, struggle to adapt to the new world in which they find themselves. A precarious balance has been maintained throughout, but forces stir beneath the surface threatening to send the city spiraling into chaos. This is my first attempt at writing anything longer than a short story, and I welcome any feedback or corrections. I'm posting this as I write, with each chapter going live upon completion. My current pace is about a chapter a day, which I expect to take my through the end of November. From there, I'm shooting for a chapter every two-three days until the book is completed, along with an editing pass of what is already up. I'm planning on three POV characters with unique insight into the story as it unfolds. Each chapter will contain only one POV. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

The First Primordial [DROPPED]
[Story dropped until further notice, I don't currently plan on restarting the story but will leave it as a possible option] During the Creation and before the inception of the Realms, there were 3 beings. Known as Primordials, beings even the God's knew little about that were rumoured to be myths or legends. Follow one of such beings that, given the unflattering name Arthur and the species of Demon, must figure out his place within the realms and find his fellow Primordials. Spending the beginning of creation within what will be called The White Realm then spending an unknown amount of time screwing around in the Demon Realm. Once he finally begins his story, he will be acquainted with a world full of grand vistas, religious nuts and floating rocks which will remove whatever little common sense he had remaining. Of course, there will be no shortage of trouble that will complicate things that (due to a poor ability in making good first impressions) will cause more than a few worlds changing events. These events include the destruction of a church and minor religion, including the death of that religion's God, messing with the reincarnated people and even introducing his own reincarnators along with the slight involvement of a war between the Demon Realm and the Creation Realm. Slow burn story; expect the story to be long with plot being introduced as it goes along. The story will include a main character with an actual mind and personality that will create, learn, and even destroy as the story progresses with an emphasis on what experiencing the other side of most novels, a perspective on that one whimsical god that brings the protagonist from one world to another that is only ever mentioned in the starting chapter. [PS- This will be my first time writing, so advice, tips and critiques will be appreciated. The release schedule is a bit iffy and unreliable but will mostly be every Sunday]
