Julian's wait didn't last for long as he saw a huge crowd has started to gather around the stadium as they took their seat and waited for the big battle, soon it started as the massive screen on top of the stadium started to play videos of Caitlin and Marshal on it, it showed their pokemons and how much of destruction they can cause.

The crowd started to shout out their names, as Elite Four they are very famous and they are loved by the people of Unova. ​​

Julian looked at the doors from which the trainers are going to enter as it slowly started to open, the announcer called for them as smoke covered the battlefield.

As some disappeared both trainers could be seen on the battlefield staring at each other, the two trainers are one of the strongest pokemon trainers in Unova, they are the part of the Elite Four.

Marshal is placed at third while Caitlin is in the first place, this position among the Elite Four depends on their battle record.

Caitlin has only lost her battle against the Champion of Unova while she has defeated every other member of the Elite Four before but that doesn't mean that it won't change, after reaching a certain level it becomes hard for a pokemon to grow stronger and this might lead to them falling back because their rival or opponent can overtake them but it will be hard for them as well to exceed their current level.

That is why when a trainer reaches a level of power they are dependent on their true skills and not luck because in their level only skill can help them.

Julian watched the two of them and he could clearly see the rivalry between these two trainers, they go way back and this is not the first time they are facing off against each other.

Julian smiles seeing this, he knows how it feels to meet the same person again in the battlefield again, he felt the same when he saw Ash, maybe Ash is not strong enough to give him a challenge right now but someday he will get there and it will be Julian's hardest battle and he knows it.

That is why he favors Ash so much, at first he really wanted to avoid Ash because he was an annoying little brat but Julian saw Ash growth with his own eyes, he knew Ash is going to be someone that is going to shake the world for good and he wants to see when that day comes.

Julian continued looking at the battlefield as he saw the referee entering with two flags in his hand, even though this is an exhibition battle it is between two members of the Elite Four and it will go down on their records.

The Referee started to tell the rules of this battle, this seems to be a two on two pokemon battle with no time limit, with both sides agreeing the battle started.

Caitlin sent out her first pokemon Gothitelle and Marshal sends his Mienshao, one is a Psychic and the other is a Fighting-type, it is clear that Caitlin has a clear advantage but the crowd is still excited to see this battle.

The battle starts with a big bang as Mienshao blasts an Aura Sphere and Gothitelle counters with a Psyshock, both attacks collide and create a massive shockwave that sweeps off everything in the battlefield, the crowd cheers as the two powerful pokemons started to collide with each other, after a few minutes Gothitelle has a clear advantage and it suddenly uses Psychic and blasts a powerful Psychic wave at Mienshao and sends it crashing against a wall as Mienshao faints from it.

Caitlin's Gothitelle still looks fine and can go for a second round but Caitlin doesn't want to use it again so she calls it back and sends out her Metagross, seeing this Julian smiles, it reminded him of his Metagross, he knows how powerful these beast are and already knows that Caitlin is going to win this battle, her Gothitelle was really impressive but it was not the best but this Metagross is different, it has an air of supremacy around it just like his pokemons.

Marshal looked worried as he saw Caitlin send out her Metagross but he still has a chance, Metagross is a Steel-type as well so his pokemon's attacks should be able to damage its opponent, he decides to go with his strongest pokemon as well, Conkeldurr.

Both pokemon stare at each other ready to battle, with the referee's signal, both begin with a physical exchange as Metagross uses Metal Claw while Conkeldurr uses Hammer Arm.

Conkeldurr rises its massive cylindrical boulder and smashes it at the incoming Metagross while Metagross counters with its massive arm as well, the clash creates a thunderous sound and both Pokemon are pushed back but the clear winner is Metagross as Conkeldurr flinches after that, the shock traveled from the boulder in his hand to its body shaking it internally.

Seeing the chance Caitlin doesn't;t back down and attack.

Caitlin "Meteor Mash"

Her Metagross charges at Conkeldurr with full speed as metal particles surround it and start to burn like a meteor, it then crashes into Conkeldurr and blasts it off of the battlefield and Conkeldurr gets knocked out.

With this, the battle is over and Caitlin is the winner, she was clearly the more powerful and experienced trainer that Marshal and this battle showed it to the world, the crowd cheered for her while Marshal sighed in disappointment.

Caitlin "HoHoHoHo, I told you, Marshal, you cannot defeat me, you are simply wasting your time"

She said and laughed while covering her mouth with her hand.

Marshal got frustrated and angry but he couldn't do anything but walk away from the battlefield with his defeated pokemon.

Marshal "Caitlin, I will defeat you one day"

He said and walked away.

Caitlin "I will be waiting"

She said and smiled and then started to wave at her fans who are cheering for her from the crowd.

Julian "Just like Cynthia said. She is truly a champion level trainer too bad the current champion is really strong, maybe one day she might become the champion of Unova"

He said and continued watching the battlefield as Caitlin diligently bowed down for her audience and entertained them before walking away, she was clearly the elegant type.

As the battle was over Julian has nothing to do here so he decided to visit the museum which is right next to this stadium and see if there is anything interesting he could find there.
