As Heracross went down and Darkrai escaped the assault from that powerful Whirlpool from Manaphy, Julian got the chance to call Togekiss back to her Pokeball.

He still had a lot of pokemons up his sleeve, he can bring Togekiss out of her sleep by telling Manaphy to use Heal Bell as it can cure all kinds of status conditions. ​​

With Heracross down the referee made the call and the crowd cheered, even against the odds Julian was the first one to score a point but the battle is still not over.

Ash called his Heracross back to its Pokeball and sent his next pokemon, Infernape, one of his strongest pokemons.

Seeing who Ash sent out Julian smiled and took out another Pokeball and tossed it up in the air, Luxray came out of the Pokeball and roared while he suddenly set up an Electric terrain for his advantage.

The battle started once again and Ash focused on Luxray while Tobias is trying to take out Manaphy, he knew that he cannot afford another one of those whirlpools or they will be in a serious disadvantage, this is a double battle, more strategy and thinking goes in this, if one lost too much pokemon, in the beginning, they will be put in a serious disadvantage.

With Darkrai speeding up its attack and movements it forced Manaphy back but it is not easy to take control of the battlefield, just like Darkrai, Manaphy is a powerful legendary with exceptional stats all across the board.

Tobias is now trying to confuse Julian by making him lose focus, he told Ash to battle Luxray separately while he and his Darkrai will take on Manaphy, he wanted to divide Julian's attention and move in for the finish.

Tobias knows how hard it is to concentrate on two completely different battles at the same time, while he thinks this, he doesn't know Julian can easily do it, he is exceptional, he is a cheat in this world because of the body he was given.

He watched the battle without moving, many people thought that he was just watching and doing nothing, they thought that he is letting his pokemons decide what to do but Julian is instructing them in their mind with little words, he could see that Tobias is trying to divide his attention, many trainers would fall for this trick but he won't.

Other trainers might not be able to handle this and concentrate on a pokemon at a time which could lead to their defeat, that is why double battles are very rare.

The battle between Manaphy and Darkrai is getting intense by every minute, the same could be said between Luxrai and Infernape, both of them are fast physical attackers so the clashes between them were huge, one battle in the air and one battle on the ground.

Julian would instruct them with his mouth sometimes to play around with his opponent's mind and tell them to do something else and confuse them, this continued but Tobias and Ash kept on pushing.

Tobias had predicted this as well, he had seen few battles of Julian in which he ordered a move but his pokemon used another move, he understood that Julian had some way to communicate with his pokemons without speaking out loudly.

So he never trusted the words that came out from Julian's mouth, seeing how this battle is going Julian smiled, this battle was really hard for him

Tobias was able to figure out what Julian is up to and came up with counters, these moves were either defensive or of normal typing as they are not weak against most typing.

Julian "You have done you homework but it isn't enough, time to put an end to this, Manaphy, use Waterfall"

As soon as Manaphy heard Julian's voice it rose up in the sky and started to glow blue, blue light shined everywhere as water started to form around it, soon there was a huge mass of water floating up in the air, seeing the attack Tobias knew he had to do something.

Tobias "Darkrai, protect Infernape"

Manaphy dove down with the massive body of water using Waterfall, Darkrai used Protect and floated right in front of Infernape to protect it from this attack, Infernape's power is very important for them.

As the water crashed into Darkrai's Protect, it caused several cracks on it, as the pressure from the Waterfall started to increase Darkrai couldn't hold it any longer and the water tore through the Protect and hit Darkrai but till the end, Darkrai protected Infernape and took all the hit.

Darkrai is badly damaged from that attack, Manaphy's attacks are no joke but as Tobias thought that is was over, he suddenly realized something and turned towards Luxray and saw him charging at Darkrai at incredible speed, he wanted to warn Darkrai but it was too late.

Luxray pounced on Darkrai, his claws and fangs surrounded by massive volts of electricity dug into Darkrai causing it to roar in pain as it went down.

Ash "Focus Punch"

Suddenly Infernape made a move as well and successfully landed a powerful Focus Punch on Luxray sending him crashing and rolling on the wet ground.

Both Darkrai and Luxray seems to have fainted but as the referee was about to give the result he saw movement from Luxray, Luxray slowly got back to his feet but he is badly injured, he cannot continue or use even one move right now, that Focus Punch was really powerful.

Luxray might be under the influence of a concussion, Julian saw this and was surprised, Ash made a move when he least expected it and his Luxray got hurt badly, he knew he cannot let Luxray might any longer, he knew Luxray won't be able to stat even a normal tackle after this.

After the referee announced Darkrai's downfall, Julian returned Luxray back to his Pokeball, he is really happy with this battle, one of his pokemon has been put ina deep sleep and his other pokemon is in a state where he cannot battle.

But he took out Darkrai, a serious concern for this battle and now his target is set on Ash's Infernape, the real hard hitter of this battle.

Julian "That was a close one, a little more power behind that attack and my Luxray would have fainted"

He said and chuckled.

Ash just grit his teeth, he knew his Infernape gave his all in that Focus Punch, only if Blaze was active, his Infernape could have put more speed behind the punch to make it more impactful but it is how it is.

The battle must continue.
