Julian's Infernape looks at the battlefield and doesn't see much damage on the battlefield which disappoints him, he glares furiously at Ash's Infernape who is on the battlefield.

Ash's Infernape suddenly feels a chill down its spine and looks at the direction of the VIP room and shudders as memories of the training it went under Julian's Infernape enters its mind. ​​

A few days ago, before the Semi-Finals, Ash realizes that his opponent is Tobias, the trainer who has not lost even one battle and defeated every gym and opponents in this league with just his Darkrai.

Being motivated by this Ash rushes out to the nearest training ground, as he reached there he saw an Infernape sitting under a tree with his eyes closed, he recognized this Infernape.

Seeing Infernape, Ash got excited and rushed towards him.

Ash "Infernape, how are you doing, where is Julian?"

He asked.

Infernape opened his eyes and saw Ash staring at him with big excited eyes, Infernape closed his eyes once again and ignored Ash as Ash won't understand him even if he talked.

Seeing Infernape is busy Ash decided to train and called out all his pokemon that he wants to use for his battle against Tobias, after thinking for a while Ash decided to go with Infernape, Pikachu, Heracross, Sceptile, Gabite, Swellow, and Torkoal.

Since his opponent is really strong he decided to go with his some of his Hoenn pokemon, they have proven themselves against some of Julian's pokemon and they are a little stronger than before.

Ash starts his training which causes a lot of noise, Julian's Infernape who is enjoying his free time gets disturbed and opens his eyes to see Ash training with his pokemons.

Infernape looks at Ash's Infernape who is having a mock battle with Pikachu but Julian's Infernape is not impressed at all, he saw many flaws in Ash's Infernape's footsteps, the way it moved and fought.

It had no technique, only brute force, seeing this Infernape felt offended because he is of the same species.

He got up on his feet and continued watching how Ash and his pokemon trained, as he saw this he felt embarrassed, it was a good method to train as it is influenced by Julian but Ash is totally concentrated in power and no technique.

Infernape felt offended for no reason as he saw the training process, he slowly walked towards Ash's and his pokemon and got right behind them, none of them noticed Infernape's presence at all.

As Ash's Infernape is trying to use a Flamethrower it got slapped on the back of its head which sent it crashing into the ground.

This startled everyone one and they turned towards Ash's Infernape and noticed that he got knocked out, they looked at little further and saw another Infernape, they realized who it was and became stiff as they saw Julian's Infernape glaring at them.

Ash's Infernape got back to its senses and got up angry to see who just hit it but when it turned around it went pale and backed off a little as it saw Julian's Infernape's stare, it felt like it is being stared straight through its soul.

Ash saw this and rushed towards Julian Infernape with excitement.

Ash "Infernape are you going to help us train?"

He asked with big excited eyes, Infernape just ignored Ash and barked at his pokemon, all of Ash's pokemon got in a line as they heard Infernape.

Seeing this Ash got excited and joined his pokemon as well, soon Infernape started his training, the first hour he went slow then he suddenly started to make them go full hardcore, thought them techniques and how to fight properly, if Julian's Lucario was here she would pity all of them as she knows what they are going through, at first Infernape was very gentle with her as she was still weak but when she started to grow strong the training became much hard but he managed to teach them the basic which should be enough for Ash and his team.

After hours of training and leaving Ash's Pokemons in a very tired state Infernape left as it was getting late.

Back to today's battle.

Ash's Infernape shook its head and got rid of the horror that was the training it went through under Julian's Infernape, with Tobias's Darkrai down the battle is now even with both trainers having five pokemons by their side.

People are getting excited as they want to see Tobias's next pokemon, for the first time he will reveal them and the whole world is on the edge of their seat.

Tobias takes out his next Pokeball and tosses it up in the air and blue pokemon comes out of it, seeing this pokemon everyone is surprised as it is one of the legendary pokemon, Latios.

The crowd burst into cheer and shock, the announcer is once again going crazy as he is looking at the Latios.

Julian is also surprised to see this Latios, he didn't think he would see a different Latios so soon, the one he is friends with is a lot stronger than this one but a Latios is still a Latios, its speed is unrivaled in the sky.

Cynthia "This could be a thought battle for Ash"

She said.

Julian "That might be true but the battle has just begun, let's just sit and watch"

He said and popped a soda and drank it.
