Cynthia began her attack with Glaceon.

Cynthia "Glaceon, use Icy Wind" ​ ​

Glaceon blew a cold and powerful Icy Wind causing all the pokemons on the opposite side to quiver in sheer cold, due to the current height they are in the effect was much more potent than normal.

Some of them even started to freeze on the stop, not completely but there was ice forming on the edge of their hairs and eyebrows.

Feeling the cold many pokemons lost their will to fight especially the fire type pokemons, they didn't like this cold at all, the temperature around here affected their fire and they were not able to burn brightly to counter the Ice Wind that is being thrown at them.

While the pokemons who are already weak to Ice Type moves as suffering as well as receiving the most damage out of the rest, some of them even froze without moving an inch.

The surroundings really helped Cynthia deal a fatal blow to her opponents, seeing most of their team have been rendered useless by just one attack the remaining members started to attack recklessly, their attacks went everywhere, beams of attack targeted towards Cynthia.

Cynthia "Both of you, use Protect"

Glaceon stepped in front of Zoroark and used Protect, Zoroark also used Protect over the Protect that Glaceon has created, the attacks landed on the first Protect for a while before finally destroying it but the second Protect is still present, the attacks finally stopped.

They failed to hit anyone of Cynthia's pokemon, the Team Galactic members finally realized that they were no match for Cynthia.

The leader of the group especially feared for his life, he was on the edge when he got the promotion but now he didn't want to be a leader.

Cynthia "Glaceon, use Blizzard"

Glaceon used Blizzard and froze them all on the spot, some were still trying to move and free their legs.

Cynthia "Zoroark, finish this, Dark Pulse to all of them"

Zoroark charged up for one big Dark Pulse and blasted it at the frozen Team Galactic members, the ice shattered and along with it, the dreams of Team Galactic members ruling the world.

They all were knocked out cold.

Five minutes before on Julian's side.

He looked at the Guards in front of him and though how useful they can be for his faction.

Captain 1 "Let's take him down, don't look down on him, destroy him before he can do anything"

One of the Captain gave the command to attack Julian.

Julian [Gengar]

As soon as Gengar heard his name, he made his move, before the Guards could even lift their arms up they were all put to sleep by mass hypnosis.

Julian "They are all useful members of the faction in the future, putting them to sleep is the best option"

He murmured and looked around to find anything out of the ordinary but he found nothing after looking around for a while.

Julian 'Looks like they were really fighting for Cyrus for their freedom'

He thought and sighed in relief.

He still had some doubts as to why would these people help Cyrus, even though the previous captain told him that he did it for his and his family's freedom, the same couldn't be said for the others.

After confirming his suspicion, he asked Gengar to tie them all up so they cannot escape before the league agents come and take them away.

After he was done with this, he heard a loud explosion behind him, he turned around and noticed Cynthia destroying all of the Team Galactic members in one go, he smiled awkwardly as he saw how ruthless she can be sometimes.

Even he wouldn't freeze someone then destroy them, he could tell most of these men and women will have multiple fractures in their body after that, the pokemons will survive as they have better physic and regeneration.

Julian "Looks like we are done here, we should go forward"

He said while walking towards her.

Cynthia "Yes, we should, we cannot waste much time here"

She nodded and both of them rushed towards the maze, Julian called out Infernape to light up the path, even with enhanced vision no one can see in the dark unless some light is present and inside this maze-like cave there is none.

Julian was here before so could could easily navigate through the maze and if he ends up somewhere else he will clarify it with the System before taking any route.

Both of them finally were able to reach the end of the maze but suddenly they got stopped by four people.

One is a middle-aged man with a white lab coat, One is a young man with blue hair, the other two are women with red and purple hair respectively.

The young ones are the admins of Team Galactic and the middle-aged man is the lead scientist of Team Galactic.

Cynthia "I wondered where these guys were hiding, so they all were here all along"

She said while tightly clenching her fist in frustration, she could have caught them before but she dragged it for such a long time and because of this, the future of Sinnoh is in danger.

Mars "It's it the great champion, welcome but this is goodbye as well, you cannot go any further from here"

The woman in red hair said. She is one of the admins of Team Galactic.

Jupiter "Who is that handsome man beside her, is he her boyfriend, hey why don't you join us, we can have some fun"

The tall woman in purple hair said looking at Julian and chuckled, hearing her Cynthia got furious, Jupiter is dead for sure and Julian is already pitying her.
